While Kolivan was investigating a galran escape pod, he wondered who managed to escape. It was fairly easy to find the pod and when he did he used his blade to cut the door open. He stepped back when smoke bloomed up after opening the pod; cautiously standing far enough away, he waited to see who or what was in the pod. Once the smoke dissipated, Kolivan walked over to the escape pod and looked in, seeing a female human who looked to be about (Y/a). He was beyond shocked to see a human in a galran escape pod; he thought that the only humans who had been captured by the Empire were three men.

(Y/n) was skinny and she had bruises on her face; it made him wonder what she had gone through. Her (H/l) (H/c) hair was badly matted and very dirty, which made her look even worse. Kolivan carefully reached for (Y/n's) right arm, hoping to find a pulse. It was confirmed that she was alive when he felt her pulse; after what (Y/n) had been through, it was a miracle that she was alive. (Y/n) quietly groaned when Kolivan carefully picked her up bridal style, feeling someone pick her up but not conscious enough to wake up.

"Don't worry little human, you're going to be safe now." Kolivan spoke quietly as he turned around and walked back to the ship he came in.

(Y/n) quietly groaned in response, hearing a calm male voice but not knowing who it was. Kolivan couldn't help but notice how tiny the young woman was compared to him; he felt oddly protective of her and he hoped that she was going to make it. Once he was back in his ship, Kolivan laid (Y/n) on the bed in the little bedroom before going to the cockpit. He had to get back to the main Blade of Marmora headquarters as fast as he could; (Y/n's) life depended on it. He still wondered how she got so far away from Earth and how she became a prisoner of the Galra Empire; now that (Y/n) was safe, her life was going to be better.

Every Blade who saw Kolivan carrying (Y/n) straight to the infirmary when he returned to the main Blade headquarters wondered where he found her, but they knew better than to ask questions. Kolivan's instincts to protect the young woman had been awakened when he found her; he kept denying it to himself, though. When he arrived at the infirmary, Ulaz wasn't expecting his leader to rush in nor did he expect him to bring a human with him. He had some experience with humans, but not human women in particular; the last human he had close contact with was Shiro.

"Ulaz, this woman needs to be put into a healing pod. I found her in that escape pod I went to go check out earlier. I believe that she may have been a prisoner in a Commander’s cruiser." Kolivan spoke with urgency as he carefully laid (Y/n) on the examination table, making sure that her arms were by her sides.

Ulaz didn't say anything as he put his medical mask on and grabbed his medical supplies and his scanner, ready to check on (Y/n's) condition. She looked extremely malnourished and she had bruises, meaning that she had been abused recently. Ulaz checked her heartbeat first, relieved when he heard that her heart was beating at a normal rate. However, when he scanned her he saw that two of her left ribs were broken. It was to be expected though because she had been a prisoner of the galra empire.

"Is she alright?" Kolivan queried after a few moments, seeing the concerned look in Ulaz' pupiless eyes.

"Two of her left ribs are broken and she's extremely malnourished, but a few days in one of the healing pods will have her mostly healed." Ulaz answered calmly, giving his leader the news about (Y/n's) current condition.

"That's alright. Message me when she comes out." Kolivan told Ulaz before turning around and promptly leaving the infirmary.

Ulaz nodded his head before turning his attention back to (Y/n); the pheromones Kolivan was letting off suggested that he was interested in her. After putting his supplies and scanner away he took her torn clothes off and put a bodysuit on her. He wasn't aware that the galra empire had a fourth human in their clutches; they must have captured (Y/n) after he freed Shiro and after he escaped. Before closing the healing pod, Ulaz put a breathing mask on (Y/n) that was equipped with a feeding tube so that she wouldn't die of starvation or drown. He made sure that she was ready before closing the pod and filling it with the healing liquid.

As the pod was filled with liquid Ulaz walked over to one of the cupboards and selected some liquefied fruit that he would be able to feed (Y/n) with via the feeding tube. He already turned on the air supply so she would be able to breathe during the healing process. (Y/n) was only (Y/a) years old, which meant that she couldn't have been a prisoner for very long, not to mention her injuries which made him think that her captor had been trying to break her spirit. Ulaz poured the liquefied food into the feeding tube port, slowly feeding the young woman. Meanwhile, Kolivan was conflicted about what to do with (Y/n) while he sat in his office; he didn't know why he felt a strange feeling in his stomach every time he thought of her since he didn't even know her, but he figured that he would figure it out in the next few days.
