Just as Ulaz promised Kolivan was no longer sick when he came out of the healing pod he'd been put in a few days prior; the few days he was sleeping in the pod (Y/n) had been a little lonely, although she kept reminding herself that her friend would be healed afterwards. And, just as she said she'd do, the young woman had a cup of water and a big plate of food ready when Kolivan joined the world of the living again. Kolivan was flustered when (Y/n) told him how much she missed him during his healing process; having someone worried specifically for him still felt a little strange, but it was nice at the same time. After a day of relaxing Kolivan had to go out on another important mission with Antok and Keith, one where they would be gathering important information from an empire base a few galaxies away. (Y/n) had to stay at their headquarters where she would be safe; she thankfully wouldn't be bored because she had access to the internet and other people to talk to.

On the way to their destination Kolivan sensed that Antok was up to something based on the scent of the bigger male's pheromones and the look on his face. Keith didn't seem to be in on it, although the boy had things on his mind and often preferred to be alone most of the time. As for Antok, he knew about Kolivan having a huge crush on (Y/n) even if the Marmoran leader might not realize he did; he found it adorable and decided to tease his friend about it a little seeing as the human woman wasn't present. Antok wanted Kolivan and (Y/n) to fall in love with each other but if Kolivan waited too long someone else, one of the younger Blades, would swoop in and sweep the young woman off her feet. As soon as the three men arrived at the base and secured the whole building Antok decided it was a good time to do a little harmless teasing; Keith was the lookout, so he wouldn't be in the same room as the two older men.

"I heard that (Y/n) was waiting for you to be released from the healing pod while you were ill." Antok spoke in a casual tone while he and Kolivan were getting ready to download the information they needed from the base's main computer, fighting the urge to grin as he began his teasing.

"Yes, she had food and water ready when Ulaz let me out." Kolivan replied while he typed in a few access codes with the holographic keyboard, not thinking much about what Antok said.

"Food and water, huh? It sounds like she might have a crush on you, seeing as she's prepared food and drinks for you before." Antok replied as stoically as he could, the corners of his mouth twitching upwards ever so slightly.

"She was simply concerned for me, that's all." Kolivan insisted firmly, glancing back at Antok for a moment who looked as though he was forcing himself not to grin.

"Is that so? Then what were your motives when you baked and shared a Tera'ok lava cake with her?" Antok questioned while grinning ever so slightly, his lower facial muscles hurting a little as he continued to force himself not to show too much emotion.

"I-" Kolivan began to say before he closed his mouth, unable to think of an excuse; he liked (Y/n), a lot, but he couldn't tell her that because he didn't want to risk losing her if things didn't work out.

For the first time that day Antok finally let himself grin, knowing his teasing was getting him somewhere. Kolivan let out an annoyed growl as he turned his attention back to the holoscreen, causing his friend's grin to grow a little wider than before. He wanted to deny it, that he had a crush on (Y/n), so he did so that he didn't have to think about it; he only saw her as a friend and nothing else, and he wouldn't let Antok's teasing get to him. Once he had full access to the files Kolivan opened the pouch on his belt and took a small device out so he could plug it in and begin downloading the data they needed. Antok leaned against the nearest wall and crossed his arms over his chest, his wolfish grin remaining on his face.

"Personally, I think you and (Y/n) would make a good couple" Antok spoke casually while flicking his tail back and forth, teasing his friend a little more.

"Antok-" Kolivan growled out a warning when he glared at him for a moment; he didn't necessarily enjoy the teasing because just the thought of him and (Y/n) being in a romantic relationship made him feel funny.

"I'm just saying." Antok shrugged, smelling Kolivan's pheromones spike each time he jokingly teased him.

Kolivan didn't know why he felt warm and tingly inside each time he thought about courting (Y/n); he'd never considered being in a relationship with anyone, so he definitely wasn't romantically interested in (Y/n). The information the Blades needed quickly downloaded onto the little device and he unplugged it once he was sure he downloaded everything off of the console. Once they were finished Kolivan and Antok headed back to the rendezvous point where Keith would be waiting for them, neither of them saying anything since the security system would soon come back online. On the way back to the Blades' main headquarters Keith could feel the tension between the older males and wondered what happened while they were gathering information. The ride back was silent which made the three of them feel low-key uncomfortable with each other's presence; Kolivan didn't want to think about him and (Y/n) being in a relationship but the thought kept crossing his mind.
