Arthit leaned against his car, arms crossed over his chest, as he waited outside the brightly lit entrance of the amusement park- Dragon wonder land. His gaze flickered over the crowds of people milling about, searching for a familiar figure among the throngs of visitors.

No matter how much he tried to delay Kongpob by dumping work on him, the stubborn omega had completed everything within time and had enough time left for getting ready for the date. All Arthit could do after seeing breathtaking figure infront of him- to remind him of his promise to share location of wherever he was going. This alpha Luca was sus. Who takes a grown up man of 28 years to an amusement park designed for teens who were just coming in to their powers? Atleast the damned alpha won't dare to pull anything funny on Kong in such crowd? Or no one could blame Arthit giving piece of his mind and fist to the dumb ass.

He checked his watch for what felt like the hundredth time, his impatience growing with each passing minute. Finally, he spotted Kong emerging from the crowd, a wide grin plastered across his face. Arthit's irritation momentarily melted away at the sight of Kong's infectious smile, but it quickly returned as he remembered the reason for his presence there. Kong was animatedly talking with Alpha Luca.

"Hey, phi!" Kong exclaimed, spotting Arthit, he bounded over to where Arthit stood by the car. He introduced Luca to Arthit and right to his face Luca told Kong he had enjoyed his date and he sees his soulmate in Kong. Then he turned to Arthit and thanked him for letting him have an opportunity to know such a generous hearted person. Taking Arthit's hand in his, he assured Arthit that he knows what Kong would have went through with self entitled alpha population and that he would take even greater care of Kong than Arthit as a brother takes .

"I am not his brother" Arthit grumbled.

"A friend then!" Luca beamed "I promise to take good care of your friend or you can take your fist to me. Just put a good word for me na"

Whoa! The fucker was smooth!

"Being an alpha, I know your kind"Arthit warned " Just know that I will be watching you"

Luca smiled " I am glad Kong has such loyal friends." then he turned to Kong and hugged him " Are you up for next week's dinner?"

Kong smiled "Yes"

The vein on Arthit's forehead ticked "Isn't that day our family outing?" Arthit reminded Kong over mind link.

"Oh..Sorry Luca, tomorrow me and Phi Arthit are taking Anurak out for family outing."

"Can I join too?" Luca asked " The more the merrier? and I can get to know Anurak too?"

Arthit took a step forward, he was about to ask Luca what part of 'family outing' did he not understand? But Kong had turned to Arthit, pleading "Can he come phi? na?"

Arthit shrugged , absolutely furious at himself to not resist Kongpob's pleading eyes.

Kong grinned at Luca "Tomorrow 6 PM. We don't know what we are doing yet, I will inform you tomorrow morning."

Nodding, Luca bid them good bye and Arthit could finally relax.

"Sorry, you had to wait . " Kong apologized "The date went longer than I expected."

Arthit nodded tersely, his expression unreadable. "How was it?"

He prayed Kong would not answer in positive - he wouldn't be able to take it. The amount of teeth grinding he had done while waiting for Kong in the car- he is surprised why isn't his mouth filled with poweder of his tooth.

Kong's smile widened at the mention of his date and he practically beamed with excitement. "It was amazing! Luca is such a great guy. We had so much fun together."

Arthit's jaw tightened at the mention of Luca's name, though he tried to keep his emotions in check. "I'm glad to hear that," he said curtly, his voice devoid of warmth.

Kong seemed oblivious to Arthit's inner turmoil as he continued to gush about his date with Luca. He chattered animatedly about the rides they went on, the games they played, the crystal cave and stormy sky they played. How they excelled all challenges in lava pool and the laughter they shared and how adventurous and chivalrous Luca in general was.

As they climbed into the car and Arthit started the engine, a heavy silence settled between them. Arthit's mind churned with a whirlwind of conflicting emotions – jealousy, frustration, and a gnawing sense of unease. He couldn't shake the feeling that something about this situation didn't sit right with him, but he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was.

Kong prattled on, completely unaware of the storm brewing inside Arthit's mind. He chattered about how much he was looking forward to seeing Luca again and how he hoped they could go on another date soon. Arthit's grip tightened on the steering wheel as they drove through the city streets, his thoughts consumed by the image of Kong with another alpha. He forced himself to remain composed, to keep up the facade of being supportive, but inside, he seethed with jealousy and resentment.

As they pulled up outside their apartment building, Arthit finally spoke, his voice tight with suppressed emotion. "I'm glad you had a good time, Kong."

Kong flashed him a bright smile, oblivious to the turmoil raging within Arthit. "Thanks, phi! I really appreciate you dropping me off. You're the best." he gave Arthit a quick hug.

Arthit managed a strained smile in return, though his heart felt heavy with disappointment.

"Kong I need to go home today." Arthit informed "I will be back tomorrow. I have placed four guards here. One will be constant posting on front door of the building, one on back and two will be doing rounds. I have mailed you their posts and contacts."

"Everything, alright phi?" Kong asked, peering in to Arthit's eyes to see the truth.

Arthit's gaze was downcast "Yeah.. I just have something urgent to discuss with phi Ayan about one of our companies and I don't know how long it will take."

"I can wait for you.." Kong offered.

"NO need , KOng. You sleep..I will comeback tomorrow morning."

"Okay phi... " Kong hugged again "if there is anything, I am here to listen na. "

"Nothing KOng. Its just business"

"Okay..Good night ...sleep on time na.. or I will know."

"It can go late in to night" Arthit informed.

"Okay phi...We will be waiting for tomorrow morning."

Arthit nodded "See you tomorrow. Latch the doors well."

After wishing him good night, KOng walked in to the entrance.

He watched in silence as Kong disappeared into the building, his mind swirling with unanswered questions and unresolved feelings.

............................

After reaching home, Arthit did not eat despite being hungry, nor did he try to have any conversation with his family,  heading straight for his bedroom,he sat on the edge of his bed, head in his hands, feeling the weight of his emotions pressing down on him.

His mother, sensing his distress, gently knocked on his door before stepping inside. She saw her son, usually so strong and composed, looking lost and vulnerable.

"Arthit," she said softly, sitting beside him. "What's the matter, son? Why do you look so sad and anxious?"

Arthit took a deep breath, struggling to find the words to express the turmoil inside him. "Mom, I... I don't think I'm a good person," he finally admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.

His mother's eyes widened in concern. "Why would you say such a thing? You've always been a good person, Arthit. What's making you feel this way?"

Arthit hesitated, the confession he was about to make feeling like a betrayal. "It's about Kongpob," he began, his heart aching at the thought of his best friend. "He's finally found a good alpha, someone who makes him happy. I should be thrilled for him, right? But... I can't be. I'm not happy about it at all."

His mother frowned, puzzled. "Why not? Kongpob has always been like a family to you. You've always wanted the best for him."

"I know, Mom," Arthit said, his voice breaking. "But seeing him with someone else, finding happiness with someone else... It hurts. It makes me feel like a terrible person because I want to be happy for him, I really do, but I just can't."

Understanding began to dawn in his mother's eyes. She reached out, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Arthit, love is a complex thing. You need to understand that love is a two-way street. Kongpob loves you dearly, but in a brotherly way. You need to find peace with that."

Arthit shook his head, tears brimming in his eyes. "I am trying mom, It's not that simple. It was never Kongpob who said he saw me as a brother. It was me. I told him that."

His mother looked confused. "When? Why would you do that, Arthit? Why would you push him away like that when you have liked him since yiu both were toddlers?"

Arthit took a deep, shaky breath, preparing to reveal the truth he had kept hidden for so long. "After what happened with phi Grace... I was terrified mae. I was afraid that I would turn out to be a bad alpha, like her husband. Or that the pressures of society would change Kongpob and make him hate me and break us apart. So, I told him that I saw him as a brother and that I would never mate him. This way, both of us would be safe. We would be best of friends...without any complications."

His mother gasped softly, her heart breaking for her son. "Oh, Arthit..."

"But that's not all," Arthit continued, the words tumbling out in a rush. "To save me from both our family's wrath, Kongpob took the blame on himself. He told everyone that he saw me as a brother and that he would never mate me. He protected me, Mae. He sacrificed his own feelings for my sake. Everyone was showering me with love and compassion and spending time with me while he needed it most mae. He never even complained, nor did he ever blame me. He should have mae...we wouldn't be in this pickle...he wouldn't be searching another alpha "

His mother pulled him into a tight embrace, tears streaming down her own cheeks. "My poor, sweet boy," she whispered, stroking his hair. "You did what you thought was best to protect yourself and him na, Arthit. It wasn't the best move but it was what you could think of at that age- you were traumatised too. Don't blame yourself na. If Kongpob does not think of you as brother then why don't you let him know of your feelings? "

"He already rejected me two times, mae. Kongpob has moved on."

His mother rubbed his shoulders while he clung to her " You need to understand that Kongpob's happiness matters too. Pursuing a future with you is totally his decision son, if he wants something else for his future than what you are proposing, then he has all the rights to reject na. Respect his decision like he did yours. If he's found someone who makes him happy, you need to support him."Arthit sobbed against her shoulder, the weight of his guilt and sorrow finally spilling over.

"I know, Mae. I know. I just... I can't bear the thought of losing him."

"You're not losing him," she assured him, pulling back to look into his eyes. "Kongpob will always be a part of your life and our family. But you need to let him find his own path, just as you need to find yours. You can't hold onto him out of fear. That's not fair to either of you."

Arthit nodded, wiping his tears. "You're right, Mom. I know you're right. It's just so hard."

"I know it is," she said gently. "But you are strong, Arthit. Stronger than you realize. You will get through this, and so will Kongpob. And who knows? Maybe one day you'll find someone who makes you as happy as he is now."

Arthit managed a small, watery smile. "Maybe," he said, his voice hoarse. It did not look like there was anyone else who could consume his thoughts like KONG.

"Thank you, Mom. I needed to hear that."

"Anytime, my dear," she said, kissing his forehead. "Remember, love is about making each other happy, even if it means letting go sometimes. You and Kongpob will always have a special bond, no matter what."

As his mother held him close, ArtHIT KEPT FIGHTING INTERNALLY. After much coaxing he drank a bit of soup as his dinner.

.........................

It was past midnight. Arthit had checked his phone almost fifty times- there was no message from Kongpob.

He paced restlessly in his room, the conversation with his mother replaying in his mind. The room felt suffocating, the walls closing in on him as the weight of his emotions pressed down on his chest.

He couldn't shake the image of Kong and Anu, their faces a blend of smiles and concern.

His mother's words echoed in his ears: "Love is a two-way thing, Arthit. If Kong doesn't feel the same- you should accept it."

But Arthit knew the truth, a truth he had buried deep inside. Kongpob has been one special person he would never truly part with. He had lied - for what he thought could protect Kong, to shield him from the potential heartbreak and societal pressures. And now, that lie was tearing him apart.

As the night deepened, Arthit found himself unable to stay still. His thoughts were a storm, swirling and relentless. He wondered if Kong and Anu were asleep or if Anu felt unsafe without him nearby.

Unable to bear the uncertainty, he reached out to the guards for a report. Their response was brief and to the point: all lights were off, and no sounds were heard. Everyone was presumed to be asleep. He didn't know how to feel. Relief that they were safe? Or sadness that they might not miss him as much as he missed them?

The duality of his emotions gnawed at him, a constant tug-of-war in his heart.Desperate for distraction, Arthit threw himself into work, but even that provided no solace. The paperwork blurred before his eyes, the numbers and words meaningless in the face of his turmoil. His mind kept drifting back to Kong, to the way he smiled, to the way he laughed. And now, to the way he might be smiling and laughing with someone else.

Eventually, exhaustion took over, and he collapsed onto his bed. Sleep, however, was far from restful. His dreams were a twisted reflection of his fears. In the dream, Kong stood resplendent in a classic white tailcoat, looking happier than ever. An unknown alpha stood beside him, leaning in to kiss Kongpob's lips. Everyone was cheering for the newly wed mates and Kong was beaming like sun- the alpha bent his head- his lips descending on to Kongpo's slowly. The scene was idyllic and beautiful, but it felt like a dagger to Arthit's heart.

"No!" he tried to scream, but his voice was trapped, suffocated by his own fears and insecurities. He woke up drenched in sweat, the scream dying in his throat. His heart pounded in his chest, a frantic rhythm that matched the chaos in his mind. Arthit sat up, gasping for breath. His room was dark, the only light coming from the faint glow of the moon through the curtains. He buried his face in his hands, his body shaking with silent sobs. The image of Kong with someone else was too much to bear. It was a nightmare come to life, a reality he couldn't accept. Tears streamed down his face as he thought about all the moments they had shared. Every laugh, every touch, every word. How could he let go of all that? How could he be happy for Kong when the very thought of losing him tore him apart? His mother's words haunted him. He knew she was right, that love couldn't be forced or one-sided. But knowing didn't make it any easier. The fear of being like Grace's husband, of becoming a bad alpha, had driven him to push Kong away. Yet, in doing so, he had only hurt them both.

................................................

Hearing the sound of distress from Arthit's room, Toota, who had woken up due to a pregnancy craving, gently knocked on the door.

The soft knock broke the silence, and Arthit, lost in his turmoil, looked up."Arthit, it's me, Toota. Can I come in?" Toota's voice was gentle, full of concern.

Arthit wiped his tears quickly and opened the door. Seeing Toota's worried face, he felt a wave of relief. Toota was not just his best friend, but also someone who had been through his own share of struggles."

Come in," Arthit said, his voice trembling."What are you doing awake so late in night? Where is phi Aayan?"

"He is asleep , I woke up to pee then I suddenly wanted ice"

"Ice? Did you hurt yourself? YOu should have woken phi up. Sit here, I will-"

"I wanted to eat it" Toota said, sheepish .

"Oh.." it finally dawned on Arthit that Toota must be craving because of pregnancy.

They sat down on the bed, and Toota placed a comforting hand on Arthit's shoulder. "What's wrong, Arthit? You look like you haven't slept at all," Toota said, his eyes filled with worry.

Arthit sighed deeply. "I talked to mae tonight. She noticed something was wrong and made me spill everything." Toota nodded, encouraging him to continue. "I told her about how I feel... how I can't be happy for Kongpob finding a good alpha. She said I should be a better person and let Kong chase his happiness. But I can't find the strength to do that, Toota. Every time I think of Kong with someone else, it tears me apart."

Toota listened intently, his heart aching for his friend. "Arthit, why do you think you feel this way?"

Arthit took a deep breath, his voice breaking. "After phi Grace's bad mating, I was so afraid of becoming like her husband, of hurting Kong. I told him I saw him like a brother and that I wouldn't mate him, to protect him. But it was a lie. Kong took the blame on himself to save me from my family's wrath. Now, seeing him with other alphas, it hurts so much. I don't know how to be happy for him. How did you know phi Ayan was your mate, Toota? What would you do in my situation?"

Toota's eyes softened with understanding. "Arthit, When I met phi Ayan, I was not in a good place. You already know what kind of thoughts I harboured about alphas. I had a lot of trauma. Alphas had always used me, and I couldn't trust anyone. Phi Ayan showed me not only kindness but treated me with affection, care and respect but I was unable to see that. I thought he was only with me for my body . I was adamant on my belief that he would dump me as soon as your family says one word about him needing to settle down, and he would choose someone from his class and status. I rejected him when he proposed- he tried so many times to make me understand that we were mates. But I had refused to listen to him. I told him we could only ever be skin deep and he broke up with me. I still made myself believe I didn't give a fuck. But the night you told me Phi Ayan had agreed to meet the prospects- I crumbled- I blamed him for making me miserable and leaving me when it was me doing that all along.

I was so used to being the victim that I did not realise I was actually the one doing all the hurting. That was the night when it hit me—I wouldn't be happy with anyone else. I knew I had to get my act together. I didn't give up. I showed phi Ayan that I valued him and loved him deeply. It wasn't easy, he made me grovel a lot, but it was worth it."

Arthit listened, absorbing Toota's words. "But what if Kong doesn't feel the same way anymore? What if it's too late?"

Toota shook his head firmly. "I don't think so. Now that I know it was you who forced that stupid brotherly clause on your relationship- I know why I was always so confused with your dynamics. Kongpob looks up to you like you hung up the moon in sky. Phi Arthit can never be wrong. Him defending you infront of your family at that tender age itself tells how much he loves you. This kind of love is hard to go away, Arthit. It's never too late if your feelings are true. You need to tell Kong how you really feel, Arthit. Show him through your actions that you love him and regret rejecting him. Don't let fear hold you back. You owe it to yourself and to him to try. Go, propose, plead, grovel- whatever it takes"

Arthit looked into Toota's eyes, seeing the sincerity and determination there. "But what if he chooses someone else? What if he's happier with another alpha?"

Toota smiled gently. "Then you'll have done everything you could. Love isn't about possession, Arthit. It's about giving someone the freedom to choose and showing them your heart. If Kong sees your love and still chooses someone else, at least you'll know you were honest. And maybe, just maybe, he'll see that you're the alpha he's always needed."

Arthit took a deep breath, feeling a flicker of hope ignite within him. "Thank you, Toota. I needed to hear that."Toota squeezed his shoulder reassuringly. "You're strong, Arthit. Stronger than you know. Trust in your love for Kong and let that guide you."Arthit nodded, determination settling in his heart. He knew what he had to do. He would fight for Kongpob, not with anger or jealousy, but with the love and devotion that had always been there. He would show Kong that his heart had never truly wavered. As they sat together in the quiet of the early morning, Arthit felt a sense of calm he hadn't felt in a long time.  He was ready to take the first step towards mending what had been broken.

He knew it was time to stop hiding and start living his truth, no matter the cost. As the sun rose, so did his determination. He would face his fears, and whatever happened, he would know that he had given it his all.

..................................

That morning, Arthit stopped to Kong's favourite bakery and ordered his favourite cake along with Anurak's list of snacks.

"Please write a cute message on it" Arthit requested.

"For whom is this cake , sir?" The sales person asked.

"Very special person in my life" Arthit blushed " I haven't told him that yet"

The man smiled " Sure sir. "

..........................

Arthit reached with tens of bags in his hands- Kong and Anu were sitting to have breakfast.

" I will bring a plate for you" Kong offered, his eyes looked a bit puffy. Arthit deposited the bags on dining table nad followed Kong in to kitchen.

"Are you okay?" Arthit asked " Why are your eyes red ?"

'"Nothing" Kong said, putting a fake cheerful expression he turned to Arthit " Anu has made your favourite sandwitches "

"Kong.." Arthit had tried to stop and ask Kong about what was bothering him but Kong was already out of kitvhen.

On the dining table, Anurak had took the cake out of box.

The cake read, "You light up my world" besides the cake was a mini version that read "You're the icing on my cake, baby" Kongpob looked at the cake .

Before Arthit could say anything, Anurag chimed in with a grin." You know, Arthit, the person at the café who sold you this cake ,was totally flirting with you," Anurag said, his tone teasing " Are you starting to date too?"

Kongpob's eyes flashed with irritation, he glared at Arthit "So we were waiting since an hour at the breakfast table for you and you were busy flirting with the baker?  And you dare to dump your unwanted treat on us?" he snapped, standing up abruptly. "Eat it yourself."

Arthit stood there, stunned and speechless - staring at the cake as Kongpob stormed out of the room.

Anurag tried to suppress a laugh but failed miserably. "Phi Kong was tossing and turning all night. You did not even send a message. And after saying you would be back in morning, you are late to breakfast? You chose bad time for flirting na phi!"

"I wasn't flirting Anurak Rojanapat Suthilak- these cakes were for Kongpob and I would have been able to tell him that had you kept your mouth shut."

"oh!" Anurak gasped , finally realising his mistake " Yeah..oh!" Arthit glared, going after Kong. After lot of grovelling, Kong talked to him but he refused to eat the cake stating it was his least favourite bakery from today.

Arthit sighed, realizing this was a failed attempt.

The next day, Arthit thought he would try a more personal touch. In his free time in office, he wrote a heartfelt letter, expressing his feelings and apologizing for his past mistakes. He mailed the letter to Kongpob , hoping it would convey his sincerity.

Later, Arthit received a text from Kongpob: "It's your turn to do grocery shopping, don't be a lazy bum"

Arthit's heart sank as he realized he had accidentally sent his grocery list instead of the love letter. He facepalmed, wondering how he could make such a mistake.

Determined to try again, Arthit planned a surprise . He learned Kongpob's favorite song on the guitar and practiced until he could play it perfectly. On the evening of the serenade, Arthit gathered his courage and stood outside Kongpob's door, strumming the guitar and singing.

Just as he was getting into the performance, a neighbor's dog started howling along with the music. The howling was loud and terribly out of tune. Kongpob peeked out the door, his expression a mix of confusion and amusement."phi, are you trying to start a dog choir?" Kongpob called out, struggling to keep a straight face. Arthit stopped playing, blushing furiously. "I just wanted to show you," he stammered, feeling more embarrassed than ever "never mind.go sleep.."

..............................

Another time, Arthit decided to cook Kongpob's favorite dish and tell him his heart's truth before the date of family outing arrives. He spent hours in the kitchen, carefully preparing the meal. As he brought the dish to the dining table, he tripped over something, sending the dish flying. It landed spectacularly, splattering all over Kongpob and Anurag. Kongpob wiped the food off his face, looking both amused and exasperated, he licked the residue on his fingers. " tastes good...but not good enough to lick it off the floors and walls" Kong commented.

Arthit wanted the earth to split , Anurak fell down the chair while laughing and rest of the day was spent ribbing and teasing each other as they waited for their food order to arrive.

...................................................

Despite these mishaps, Arthit refused to give up. He tried leaving small gifts, like flowers and handwritten notes, but each time, something went wrong. Once, he sent a box of chocolates, but they melted in the sun before Kongpob got time to eat, creating a sticky mess on his desk. Needless to say Kongpob gave him more than an earful for that. Through all these failed attempts, Arthit's efforts seemed to provide endless entertainment for Kongpob and Anurag.

So, finally, Arthit decided rather than depending on words, he will show Kongpob by actions that he can do anything for Kongpob.

Arthit had seen how much fun Kongpob had at Dragon Wonderland and decided that another trip there might be just the thing to bring them closer together and give Anurak a perfect place to test his new powers.

He planned the outing meticulously, hoping to make it a memorable experience for all the right reasons. The day of the outing arrived, and the trio set off with high spirits followed by a more excited Alpha Luca.

As they entered the park Luca pulled Anurak and Kong to storm ride- an adventure especially designed for air borne dragons like - storm, air or thunder dragons. These adventures gave them a chance to freely use their powers and flight.

Within a minute, Luca , Anu and Kong were in air with their eggs that they were supposed to protect and take to the nest which was at the end of obstacles. They expertly dodged attacks from others and used their powers to manipulate air to knock the egg strapped to their bellies to ground - the player whose egg fell- disqualified.

Arthit tried his best to keep up with Kongpob and Luca, who were both more accustomed to such adventurous activities, even Anurak learned the ropes quickly and was having time of his life.

Arthit was somehow balancing his dragon body unaccustomed body of such great heights, Praying none of thunder bolts or atorm hit him. Its not like he could not fly- but he definitely cannot compare to air bornes in their natural element.  The ride was a whirlwind of fierce winds and lightning. Kongpob, being a thunder dragon, thrived in the chaos, maneuvering effortlessly through the storm. Anurak, found the ride exhilarating and manipulated air around him to form a storm- knocking everyone off kilt.

Arthit, on the other hand, struggled to maintain his icy composure. As the winds grew fiercer, he began to lose control over his powers, causing small patches of ice to form in midair. With strategically formed ice shields he somehow managed to save scales on his back and take his egg to the nest.

"Phi..I think you should sit this one out" Kong suggested.

"Why?"

"Its lava pool-  you are ice dragon."

"If anyone has chances of surviving it- its me" Arthit stayed stubborn.

"I have been to the pool phi- it will be disastrous for you, trust me..."

"You are just afraid your dear alpha Luca will loose to me ?"

"I'm afraid I will have to carry you home in pieces" Kong glared " Its not just simple fire- its lava phi"

" Thank you for your enoormous trust in my abilities. Watch how I will prove you wrong. I can do it too.."

"Phi-"

Arthit was determined to prove himself, he ignored Kongpob and jumped in to pool.

As he entered the pool, the temperature hit him- he felt like being roated on open fire.  His body instinctively began to cool the surrounding lava. Within moments, the entire pool froze solid with Arthit trapped inside.

Panic set in as he tried to free himself, but the ice was too thick for him to break from inside. Arthit was effectively trapped. Now, he understood what Kong was trying to convey. Thankfully, his stupid ego had soared so high that he had jumped in before everyone else and was alone trapped inside. even if he dies there will not be other's life on his soul. But Kongpob will marry Luca- his dragon provided and Arthit swore even with frozen lungs.

Usually he won't have problem with being trapped in ice since he only freezes upper layer and being from water dragon family, he can breathe in water. In the panic attack- he had frozen the whole lava nad oxygen in his lungs was rapidly decreasing- pushing his vision in to darkness.

The park employees ran to search ice thawing tools and fire splasher to melt ice.

Kongpob, in a desperate attempt to help, tapped into his electric powers. He unleashed a powerful surge, hoping to melt the ice, but ended up accidentally short-circuiting the entire park's electrical system while doing it.  The lights flickered and then went out, plunging Dragon Wonderland into darkness.

Meanwhile, the onlooker tried to help, thinking quickly, the fire dragons used their fire breath to try and melt the ice and Air dragons like Anurak helped magnify its strength. However, in their haste, they generated a blast so strong that it blew several nearby tents away.

The park's staff, already on high alert from the blackout, rushed to the scene to find the three dragons in the middle of a chaotic mess.

It took several park employees to free Arthit from the ice, and when the dust settled, the trio found themselves surrounded by furious park officials.

They were promptly banned from Dragon Wonderland and slapped with a hefty fine for the damages and the disruption caused. As they stood outside the park, banned for life, Kongpob and Anurak couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. Arthit, however, was thoroughly embarrassed. He had hoped to create a wonderful memory with Kongpob, but instead, they had caused a disaster.

Kongpob, seeing Arthit's crestfallen expression, tried to reassure him. "Phi, it's okay. We had fun, and that's what matters. Besides, it's a story we'll never forget!"Anurak nodded in agreement, still chuckling. "Yeah, and we survived a lava pool turned ice rink. How many people can say that?"

"True.." Luca who had found them in the chaos joined the laugh.

Despite his initial embarrassment, Arthit couldn't help but smile at his friends' attempts to lighten the mood. Maybe the outing hadn't gone as planned, but at least they had faced it together. As they headed back home, Arthit felt a bit better, knowing that even though he might not be perfect, his friends appreciated him for who he was. And perhaps, in the chaos and laughter, Kongpob could see a glimpse of how much Arthit truly cared for him, even if his plans often ended in disaster.

.................................................

On their way back home, despite Kongpob insisting, Arthit sat on the driver seat. Determined to do atleast one thing right.

The journey was smooth except for moments when Arthit's back touched the leather seat. Kong noticed him wincing every time they were jerked back from break or leaned back.

As soon as they reached,Anurak excused himself to bath and wash off all the debris from the disaster in park. Kong turned to Arthit "Take off your shirt"

Arthit gulped seeing the fire in Kongpob's eyes "I need to bath Kongpob- all the dust and-"

"Stop..." Kong raised his palm "Just stop, okay...Take your shirt off and lie on your stomach before I return"

Arthit silently obliged. Kong brought luke warm water from kitchen and a clean towel for cleaning the wound.

Arthit's whole back was raw and red, the burns from the lava pool still stinging despite the icy cocoon he had managed to create around himself in the nick of time. The pain was excruciating, but not as much as the emotional turmoil he felt seeing the disappointment and anger in Kongpob's eyes.

" Phi Arthit, what were you thinking?" Kongpob's voice was a mix of anger and worry, his usual calm demeanor replaced by frustration. "I told you those adventures weren't suited for you! You could have been seriously hurt." he chided while cleaning the inflamed skin.

Arthit winced, not just from the pain in his back, but from the sharpness in Kongpob's words.

"That day, I saw how much fun you had with Luca," he replied, his voice trembling slightly. "I just thought... I thought I could show you we could enjoy them together too."

Kongpob's eyes flashed with irritation. "Luca is an air dragon, phi! Those adventures are meant for him."

" So, I am to be on the ground like sloth?"

"Sloths live on trees"

"Same thing." Arthit huffed, not even the cool ointment soothed the fire burning in his heart " I am to remain on the ground while you are up there...enjoying with Luca?"

"So it was all to best Luca? " Kong scolded " You happy now that you have proved dick is bigger than him ?"

Arthit Sat up, he faced Kong, his eyes moist and voice heavy "Can't you see I did it for you?" Arthit shouted back, the pent-up emotions finally breaking through.

"I specifically told you not to. Luca is an air dragon, that challenge was for air bornes."

"I know that, I knew he would fare well, but I took the challenge for you because I wanted to see you smile like that day- like you once used to do. I wanted to make you happy."

"You think I am happy seeing your back resembling Babboon's ass?"Kongpob retorted.

"Since Luca has come, you are not happy with anything I do."

"Can you just stop bringing him in to everything? You just hate him. "

"Yes!" Arthit yelled, his voice cracking with emotion. "I abhor Luca for making you excited like that. Making you smile like that- it was reserved for me. Once upon a time, I was the only person to bring that pure smile on your face. I wanted that smile back on your face because of me, not him."

For a moment, there was silence, the words hanging heavy in the air. Then Kongpob's expression softened, a mix of sadness and frustration. "Phi, don't you understand? You almost died there. Have you ever thought about how I would feel if something happened to you? Do you think I would be able to live ?"

The question struck Arthit like a blow. He had been so focused on his own insecurities and jealousy that he hadn't considered the impact his actions might have on Kongpob. He looked down, the weight of Kongpob's words sinking in. "I... I didn't think about that," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.

Kongpob stepped closer, his anger dissipating into concern. "I don't care about those adventures, phi. I don't want to go storm riding or swimming in lava pooles. Just don't repeat that. I don't want to lose you."

Arthit felt a lump forming in his throat. "I just... I wanted to be enough for you. I wanted to make you happy like I used to."

Kongpob sighed, reaching out to gently touch Arthit's arm. "No one can understand me like you do phi. No one can make me happy like you do.. You always have been  my number one person. You don't need to prove anything to me."

The sincerity in Kongpob's voice made Arthit's eyes well up with tears. He had been so blinded by his jealousy and insecurity that he hadn't realized how much he meant to Kongpob just as he was

."I'm sorry," Arthit said, his voice choked with emotion. "I just... I felt like I was loosing you Kongpob. That Luca was slowly replacing me.."

Kongpob pulled him into a gentle hug, mindful of his injuries. "No one can take your place phi. Just don't scare me like that. I can't bear the thought of anything happening to you."

Arthit nodded against Kongpob's shoulder, the weight of his fears and insecurities starting to lift. He realized now that he didn't need to compete with Luca or anyone else. Kongpob cared for him deeply, Just like he used to,  and that was all that mattered.

"I want to tell you something" Arthit mumbled "Those cakes from cafe- both of them were for you- I had them write the messages on it"

"But it said-"

"I know what it said, Kongpob. Actually, I wanted them to write something else"

"What?"

"Do you have a band aid? Because I have scraped my knee falling for you."
