Ten years. It has been ten years since Chihiro went to the Spirit World, where she learns that things aren't always as it seems to be. 

Through her experience through the Spirit World, she learns of what she is capable of, and learning what to do what is right. 

Chihiro lived happily with her parents, but she never told them about her adventure in the Spirit World, or the fact that they had transformed into wild pigs, due their decision to take what doesn't belong to them. 

She sighs as her mother yells from her bedroom, "Chihiro, you're going to be late for school!" 

The girl looks at the clock, as she realizes that her mother was right. "Oh, man! It's the first day of attending my first year of high school, and I'm already late! " 

She gets out of bed, quickly dressed up her uniform, and ran down the stairs. 

Her father looks at her as he chuckles, "Man, Chihiro, you should know when you wake up. It's not like you to oversleep on your first day of high school." 

She said, "Well, it's not my fault! I couldn't sleep a wink because of all the noise from our neighbors who completely annoys me." 

"True, but we all have to accept things the way they are, Chihiro. You know better than that." 

She nods as she makes it to the train station. 

"Oh, Haku, I miss you." She said. Haku is the boy she has made friends with  in the Spirit World, and he promises that they will be reunited one day. 

Unknowingly, the promise they had made, will be fulfilled.
