"Thank you for taking me here, I would've asked the others, but they were busy with Devil Hunting."
Kobeni Higashiyama could be seen getting out of her car, as well as with Michiko Tendo and Yutaro Kurose, to which she thanks for being with her and currently being the one to take care of her this time.

"It's no problem, Mrs. Higashiyama."
Yutaro reassures Higashiyama how they were ok with doing this for their so-called boss.

"Would you like us to stand outside while you enjoy yourself?"
Michiko even offered to wait outside, to allow the Deviltrix host to enjoy her dinner in peace.

"I don't have a problem with both of you joining me for a meal, it will be my treat."
Which Kobeni both refused and gave a counter offer for the two Devil Hunters to join her inside instead.

"We appreciate that, Mrs. Higashiyama."
Which both Yutaro and Michiko thanked her for.

"You can call me Kobeni?"
Kobeni, getting slightly miffed for the respect, wanted both Tendo and Kurose to call by her name.

"Of course, Mrs. Kobeni."
Though even while Michiko and Yutaro did call the shape-shifter by her first name, they still did it in a respectful way, which made her sigh and shake her head.

'I will never get used to being treated with such respect.'
Deciding that it wasn't really worth getting upset for, Kobeni leads the two Devil Hunters inside the "Crossroad" Cafe building.

"Oh, hello Kobeni, nice to see you again~"
And inside such a place was the familiar waitress, Reze, who greets them all with a welcoming smile.

"Hi Reze, nice to see you too."
Kobeni, as well Kurose and Tendo, also greet and say their hellos.

"Would you like the usual tea and ice cream?~"
Reze seemingly knew Higashiyama enough to prepare for her "Usual" apparently, which she nodded yes for.

"Yes please."
Once Kobeni made her order already, she turned her head to look at the two Devil Hunters.

"Yutaro, Michiko, would you two like anything?"
Kobeni asks for their order, reminding them that she would be paying for them.

"I'll just have coffee, if you don't mind?"
Michiko just shrugs and orders a simple coffee, clearly not wanting a lot from the cafe.

"Oh! Can I have the dessert special?~"
Yutaro on the other hand eagerly wanted something from the dessert selection, which surprised his partner as she gave him a weird look.

"What? I have a sweet tooth to..."
Yutaro couldn't help but pout when given such a judging look from Tendo.

"Coming right up~"
Luckily Reze didn't seem to care about that all that much, as she simply just wrote down the orders in her notes.

"Also, there's some limited seats today, as most have been taken or reserved for later, so you three might have to be seated separately, I apologize for the inconvenience."
Though once Reze took the order, she also used the opportunity, when she still had their attention, to explain the situation of the Cafe having almost no seats available for everyone, something she apologized for.

"No need to apologize, it happens sometimes."
But Kobeni quickly reassures and let the waitress know that it was OK, and it was nothing to worry about, which her fellow two Devil Hunters nod in agreement.

"Thank you for your understanding, now please follow me and I'll find you all some perfect seats to enjoy yourself in~"
Reze, glad to have such understanding customers, quickly led them to their seats, resulting in both Tendo and Kurose sitting separately and far away from their Boss.

'When was the last time I've been alone?'
Kobeni, once all by herself, couldn't help but take this opportunity of privacy to think deeply about herself, mostly about how she was by herself.

'Well, I've been left alone before, I'm not always surrounded by people 24/7, not to mention Michiko and Yutaro are here.'
Kobeni glanced at Michiko and Yutaro, noticing that they weren't alone, and seemingly having a fun conversation between themselves.

'But I guess, this might be the first time I feel, vulnerable? Not having someone I trust by my side?'
Kobeni sighs at such thoughts, before simply chuckling to herself for having them in the first place.

'Heh, look at me, wanting my friends like a whining child.'
Kobeni leaned back in her seat and relaxed a little, subconsciously rubbing her pregnant tummy in the process.

'I'm just overthinking things I guess, I should enjoy some peace without others around me all the time.'
Before Kobeni could continue to think deeply and whine about nothing, she noticed that her bowl of ice cream and cup of tea was suddenly given to her.

"Here you go, your favorite tea and ice cream is here~"
The treat and drink brought by none other than Reze herself.

"Also I sneaked in something special for your treat and drink~"
Reze even mentioned how she did something "Special" to the ice cream and tea.

"Oh?"
This definitely catches Kobeni's attention, as she was curious on what she meant, looking at her ice cream, and then taking a small bite from it.

'HMPH! WAY TO BITTER!'
And almost immediately, Kobeni hated the taste, almost made her want to spit it out, but unfortunately, with the waitress, who treated her so nicely, sitting before her, she couldn't do it.

"I-It tastes lovely~..."
Not wishing to hurt the feelings of the waitress, Kobeni forced a smile on her face and continued to eat her ice cream and drink her tea, which also tasted horrible.

"I'm happy to hear that~"
This made Reze, "Happy?", to see Higashiyama eat what she made.

"Also is it alright if I spend my break with you?"
However instead of leaving, and giving the Deviltrix host a chance to spit out the ice cream and tea, Reze decided to spend more time with her, even requesting to use her break with her.

"S-Sure..."
Again, Kobeni had no reason to refuse and didn't want to come off as rude.

'I'll just try to finish my tea and ice cream quickly, so as to not waste it and hurt her feelings...'
Kobeni whines at her predicament, but she just continues to push forward to eat and drink, hoping to finish it quickly enough and be done with eating it.

"So, is it true?"
Luckily Reze was able to distract the shape-shifter from the taste of her dessert and tea by speaking with her.

"Is what true?"
Of course, Kobeni would've been interested in the conversation either way, especially when asked such a confusing question.

"That you can transform into any monsters?"
To which Reze explained further and specifically about how Higashiyama can transform.

"Oh? How did you find out about that?"
No doubt Kobeni was surprised to learn about her abilities, not recalling ever telling the waitress of this before.

"You're not the only Devil Hunter that visit this Cafe, and I do like listening to our customers gossip and conversations~"
But Reze was able to give a reasonable explanation on how she came to learn it.

"Ah, well, yes, I do have the ability to transform."
Kobeni, despite her surprise from the waitress learning this information, wasn't really trying to hide it either, and was fine with telling her more about it either way.

"Really? And how does it work? Is it a Devil Contract or something?"
Reze, glad to be given an answer, decided to ask more questions and learn more about her customer with the Deviltrix.

"No, nothing like this."
And Kobeni had no problem explaining more about her powers.

"I was given this collar, or known as the Deviltrix, and this device allows me to transform into any aliens I want."
Though what Kobeni did explain, it was already enough to shock the waitress.

"Woah! Aliens are real?~"
Specifically, Reze was shocked to learn that aliens were real.

"I know, I was surprised too."
Something that made Kobeni giggled softly, no doubt relating to such a reaction.

"How many aliens can you turn into?"
This of course only increases the curiosity that Reze had for the shape-shifter.

"Well, I technically have over a thousand aliens I think, but at the moment I'm only limited to 10."
And Kobeni did her best to answer any questions that the waitress had.

"That's definitely amazing."
This only continues to make Reze more amazed and curious.

"Hey? Is it possible for you to remove the Deviltrix?"
The next question that Reze had seemed to focus on the Deviltrix itself, specifically about the possibility of getting it off the host.

"Unfortunately, no, or at least I don't know how to."
Sadly Kobeni didn't have the answer to that question.

"It's basically fused into my skin, not to mention the collar itself is nearly indestructible."
Kobeni rubs her collar and gives it a small tug, as to prove how it wouldn't come off so easily.

"I see, it must be hard to handle such responsibilities."
Reze hums in response, as she now wonders how Higashiyama feels about all this.

"It was at first, I kind of even hated it at first, forcing me to do things I didn't want to."
Kobeni, admittedly, expressed her dislike and how upset she was before.

"But after the many good it did for me, and what I was able to accomplish and gain with this collar, I'm glad it chose me as its host."
But now, Kobeni couldn't be any more happier, evidenced by her warm smile and just overall expression that showed how thankful and glad she was for everything her collar did for her.

"I'm happy to hear that~"
Reze just "Smiled?" In return and nods.

"So, what made you want to learn about my collar?"
Kobeni, while attempting to finish her very nasty ice cream and tea, decided to take her turn in asking the waitress a question, curious on why she wanted to learn more about her powers.

"To see if it was worth taking it off your corpse~"
Though the answer that Reze was something that the Deviltrix host was expecting.

"H-Huh?"
But before Kobeni could even process what she just heard, she suddenly felt something wet underneath her nose, which she whined with her hands and looked to see what it was.

"B-Blood?"
Kobeni went eyes wide in horror when she saw that blood was starting to leak from her nose.

"Yeah, that special something I put on your dessert and drink was a mix of very deadly toxins and poison, enough to kill several elephants~"
Luckily, or probably unfortunately, Reze was able to explain the reason for the bloody nose to Kobeni, who just responded by vomiting a whole bunch of blood.

"MRS. KOBENI!"
This of course caught the attention of both Michiko and Yutaro, and were about to quickly get up to help Kobeni, but stopped when they saw the waitress hold up a button.

"Boom~"
Reze smirks at them as she then pressed the button, both Michiko and Yutaro only had enough time to realize that there was explosive underneath the table they were at before blowing up.

"I always hated this place, so thank you for giving me an excuse to blow it up~"
Reze, being so casual with the fact that she basically killed a bunch of people, as well as destroying a Cafe building, started to get up, and walked up towards the now dead body of Kobeni.

"Now come on, can't have you burning up with the rest of this place~"
Though while Reze was dragging away Kobeni's body, unknown to her, Michiko, who was very badly burned, and had most of her body parts blown off, still had enough life, and limbs, to grab her walkie-talkie and speak into it, before finally dying herself.

"M-Makima... Kobeni... Problem..."

Yay! It's finally time to start the fun part of this "Kobeni Preggo Arc", hehe~
(BTW, unlike Ben 10 in the beginning of the series, who tried to hide his powers, Kobeni doesn't really care about keeping it a secret, you can imagine how well that would turn out~)
