At the hallway, Wade looked sad, not wanting to betray his friends. He hold up his phone.

"It's done. Knuckles and Gwen are heading your way."

At Pete's penthouse, Agent Mason and Agent Willoughby are preparing to attack Knuckles and Gwen, once they come out from the elevator.

"We're in position." she said, holding her gun and waiting as the levels of the elevator went up.

With a light blue mask covering her face, Gwen stands next to Knuckles in her blue dress as Knuckles glances up while sporting a cowboy hat. Levels are going up further as Wade walks to the hallway looking at level 15 as they're almost to the penthouse.

"They're almost at the penthouse. As soon as you have them, you send my mom and my sister down to me, and please... just don't hurt them."

"No promises." Agent Mason said with an evil laugh and whirring his gauntlets.

The levels then went to the penthouse as the elevator chimes, doors rumbled to open, their blaster zapping at Knuckles, and Gwen. As soon as they stopped firing, smoke was made but they heard no sound from them.

"What the...?" Agent Willoughby said curiously.

They walked towards the elevator as the smoke cleared only to see a mascot all torn off and blasted into bits.

"What is that?" Agent Mason questioned.

"Peekaboo!"

The agents look up and gasp to see Knuckles and Gwen hanging up on the ceiling. Then Knuckles and Gwen got off from the ceiling with a yell and punched them, sending them flying out of the elevator.

"Oh, shoot and darn it. I forgot to tell you guys one thing." Wade said with a smug tone through the phone that's on the ground.

Knuckles turned his head to the side, dropping an AirPod from his ear while Gwen removed the other AirPod from her ear and dropped it to the ground as well.

"Knuckles and Gwen have been listening the whole time. You messed with the wrong warriors." Wade finished before hanging up.

"Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)" by Elton John is being played as Knuckles power up with his fists and Gwen's ruby necklace power her up as well as their eyes glow same red.

"Big mistake." Gwen said angrily.

"Huge." Knuckles added angrily.

Knuckles spins in the air as his glowing fists are up, dodging every bullet fired by Agent Willoughby. Refusing to be attacked by Agent Willoughby, Gwen roller skates next to him, shielding herself with her ruby shield. Knuckles punches Agent Mason while Gwen round-up kicks Agent Willoughby and uses her tessen to whack the gun away that sent Agent Willoughby flying and slamming against the wall. Throughout the fight, Wade crawls carefully to sneak his way to his hostage family to avoid being spotted. Knuckles grabs Agent Mason's gauntlet and moved it to make him hit himself in the face

"Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself!" Knuckles said repeatedly, making Gwen giggle before continuing to fight Agent Willoughby.

Wade eventually made it to Wendy and Wanda and stood up from crawling.

"Wade! How did you get here?" Wendy said gladly to see him again while Wanda struggled to free herself.

"I snuck in the back stairs, then using my cat-like reflexes and natural ability to be overlooked. I was able to get in the room. Besides, they were more focused on Knuckles and Gwen anyway. I'm here to rescue you guys!" Wade explained.

"Oh, thank God. We really need your help." Wendy declared.

"No, Mom! We don't. I'm gonna get us outta here on my own." Wanda denied, struggling through the handcuffs.

"Wanda, please don't start that again." Wendy scolded her.

"Yeah, don't be a hero, Wanda." Wade agreed.

"I am a hero!" Wanda retarded.

"I've accidentally locked myself in those cuffs so many times, Tom gave me a master key!"

Wade holds up a key and frees his mother, while Wanda groans as she tries to free herself.

"Wade, you saved us!" Wendy said in relief.

"What are you doing?" Wade asked curiously about to get Wanda out of her handcuffs when she slapped his hands away.

"No. Wade, stop. Stop touching me! Stop! No-- " Wanda denied.

"Stop moving your hands! If you stop moving your hands, then I-- " Wade started.

"I'm doing a thing right now!" Wanda shouted.

"What are you doing?!"

"I'm doing an FBI thing where I slip my own hands out of these handcuffs by dislocating my thumb. Here I go. Ow! Oh!" Wanda whined, slowly disclocating her thumb.

"Just let me do it! It'll be way less painful and quicker!" Wade said in annoyance.

"I'm almost there. Ow!"

"You're screaming in pain."

"Ow! Ah! I'm almost there!"

"Let your brother rescue you!" Wendy ordered, just as annoyed as Wade.

Suddenly, Agent Mason smashed through a wall and fell to the ground.

"This isn't over yet..."

With a growl, his mech gloves whir and he runs back to a fight.

"No! I'm not letting Wade rescue me! No freaking way!" Wanda denied again.

"Ah, Knuckles!" Agent Mason yelled as he jumped and punched the floor to face Knuckles.

"Let's do this." Knuckles declared.

Agent Mason yells as he and Knuckles punch each other and Agent Willoughby points her guns at Knuckles, but Gwen looks at the reflection of the golden bowl ball and notices in realization.

"Knuckles, look out!" Gwen warned him.

Knuckles quickly moves over and Gwen flips over Agent Mason to push him into Agent Willoughby as they slam into each other. And Knuckles and Gwen lands safely to face them again as the agents gets up.

"This ends now." Knuckles and Gwen said in unison.

"Okay. Fine. Fine, you win." Agent Willoughby said angrily, panting.

"Knuckles, Gwen, you guys okay?" Wade asked behind the wall.

"Wade! Stay back." Knuckles warned, glancing at him.

Agent Willoughby fires two rings at Knuckles and Gwen, but Gwen warns Knuckles again about incoming rings

"Knuckles!"

But Knuckles was ready for it.

"Not this time."

With a yell, Knuckles punched the two flying rings away from them. The portals open from two sides and create a strong wind to pull them in. Agent Willoughby screams feeling herself flying, and Knuckles hangs onto the ceiling, holding Gwen close to protect her from the portal as she holds him close and tightly. Agent Mason holds on to the furniture while Agent Willoughby grabs onto his legs to hold on.

"Ah! Get off me!" Agent Mason yelled.

"Ah! No! No, I can't get sucked into that thing! Help me!" Agent Willoughby screamed, but her hands slipped and she fell into a portal.

Agent Mason laughs at her fate, but heard Agrnt Willoughby screaming as she flies towards him from the other side of the portal.

"This ain't good."

She then slams into him, causing him to slip from his gauntlets and falls into the portal along with her. Knuckles and Gwen hang on tightly as they almost lose their grip. The portals then closed with the blast in time as the agents were gone for good. Knuckles lands on the floor while catches Gwen as she falls from the ceiling and looks at each other happily. Wade and Wendy came up and saw that Knuckles and Gwen are safe.

"Dudes! That was awesome! I can't believe the plan worked. We did it!" Wade gasped with a smile.

"Wade, you must hurry. Your Tournament of Champions is about to start!" Gwen reminded.

"The tournament? You mean--" Wade questioned.

"Yes. Your greatest victory still awaits. This is your last chance to face your ultimate foe! The schmuck known as your father, in a ritual trial by combat on your own personal battleground!" Knuckles said.

"I'd like five minutes alone with him in a trial by combat." Wendy said, wanting to fight Pete.

"The time has come for you to prove your worth as a champion, and a warrior." Knuckles continued.

"You know what? You're right. This is it. This is finally my chance to-- " Wade said courageously as he put on his leather jacket.

"Got it! I got it! Told you I would do it!"

Wanda freed herself as she came up to them, showing her dislocated thumb that looked really bad as she laughed. Wade and Gwen retched at the sight as they tried not to puke while Knuckles looked surprised and concerned.

"W-Wanda put that thing away." Wendy said, looking away while Wanda laughed deliriously.

"Impressive battle wound, Wanda..." Gwen said disgustingly while giving her a thumbs up.

"Thanks, Gwen." Wanda thumbs up in return.

"Now, before you guys go to the bowling tournament, let me change my clothes first, these agents ruined my dress, and I just brought that dress! They owe me a new one!" Gwen yelled in anger as she walked to the elevator to change in the room.

Gwen changed into her red clothes Wendy gave her from the Whipple house and changed her hairstyle back to a ponytail of her quills. Then she and Knuckles sit at the bar to watch TV of the bowling tournament.

"Look, I'm not a doctor, but technically, they share the same blood..." Announcer said.

The blue mascot came to the bar where Knuckles and Gwen are at to take off his mascot head and sat down.

"Can I get a beer, please?" he asked.

"Yeah, sure." the bartender accepted.

The TV chatter and the bartender pouring beer as Knuckles look at the mascot curiously.

"Hm... This truly is a strange little planet." he said.

"It's okay, Knucks. Sometimes a new planet seems strange at first, but give it a try and you might like it after all." Gwen assured, making him smile at her.

"Can I get you anything, honey?" Bartender asked.

"Yes. Bring me your largest challah bread. Gwen, want to share bread with me?" Knuckles ordered.

"Sure. And can I have a cup of water, please?" Gwen nodded and asked the bartender.

A noisy chomping from the bread as they were eating for sharing and Gwen drank her cup of water. But as they were enjoying their time, they heard people screaming coming from outside and heard some smashing as well. Knuckles and Gwen looked over from the entrance and knew something was up as they made serious faces.

"Hm... That sounds troubling." Knuckles said as he and Gwen looked at each other nodding to get up from the bar and head outside of the casino.

As soon as they're outside, they heard explosions and crashing coming from the cars. They were about to investigate when a mechanical tentacle that contains Knuckles' power grabbed Knuckles and trapped him, making him yell.

"Knuckles!" Gwen shouted as she tried to free him but it wasn't enough.

A big mechanic suit robot appeared, and it revealed to be Dr. Snively aka the Buyer.

"Knuckles the Echidna and Gwen the Hedgehog. It's an honor to meet you two at last." he said.

He then made the tentacle to whip Knuckles towards the cars, crashing him into them as they exploded. Dr. Snively laughs evilly. Angry, Gwen yells and tries to attack him with her sword but he slams her into Knuckles as they hit towards the picture of Pistol Pete Whipple, shattering it. Both Knuckles and Gwen fall towards the ground with the shattered glasses around them as they struggled to get up.

"I thought you'd give me more of a fight." Dr. Snively thought as they groaned in pain.

The bowling tournament went on as both Wade and Pete are tied and are on their last game.

"This is it. It's all going to come down to this final frame." Dylan said through the mic.

"You got this, Pete." Pete talked to himself before he rolled his ball in slow motion towards the pins.

His ball hits all of them except one that nearly falls as the crowd gasps with the pin rattling slowly with Pete bracing himself for it to fall only for it to stop. That makes one pin short of getting a strike and Wade cheers for the pin.

"Yes! I love you, pin!"

"Oh, for heaven's sake." Pete scoffed in disappointment.

"That miss gives Wade a chance. If he can get a strike here, he could win the tournament." Gary said as Pete cleared his throat.

"You should pick up this spare, no problem." Wade said and sighed.

"Wow! Those are fightin' words right there. Sick dig! Someone's about to get slapped! Great use of the term "sick dig," by the way." Dylan said as Gary laughed.

Pete rolls his ball to knock out the last pin and the crowd cheers while he laughs in victory.

"Unflappable." Wade said.

"This is so dramatic." Dylan commented.

"Because as it comes down to this if Wade Whipple bowls another strike, he'll be on his way to a perfect game and a tournament championship." Gary said.

"Not to mention an emotional victory over the man who left him a fatherless, stunted, utter shell of a human being. Okay..." Dylan added.

"And the question is, does Wade have the strength to finish this fight?"

"Well, do you, dear boy? Are you strong enough to strike down your own father in battle? To do whatever it takes to claim that championship trophy? Or are you just another schmuck with a nickname? Wade the Warrior?" Pete said cruelly before laughing.

"Oh, I know I'm strong enough, Dad." Wade started.

"Really?" Pete questioned.

"Because all my life, I've learned from great warriors. I learned from a mother who never stopped fighting for her family. I learned from her sister, who's honestly a little bit annoying, but amazingly fearless and headstrong. But most of all, I learned from the greatest warriors in the entire galaxy, who taught me that real warriors wouldn't exist if not for those who came before them, showed them the way, and never stopped fighting, no matter how hard the battle became. That's why I never would've found my greatest strength, my true power, without my friends, Knuckles the Echidna and Gwen the Hedgehog." Wade said in a speech he learned the lessons from the best warriors he had ever known.

"Now, Dylan, normally it doesn't take this long for bowlers to bowl." Gary said.

"Yeah, I agree, Gary. It seems as though he is monologuing. That's highly unorthodox." Dylan said.

"Nice speech. But you left out one small detail. You're a loser, Wade. You always have been, and you always will be." Pete said.

"Well, would a loser do this?"

Wade takes his ball to set and rolls his ball in slow motion. The ball knocks out all pins but one as it slowly wobbles. Pete darkly chuckles, believing he will lose. The wobbling continues on until the pin clatters down as a strike.

"Yes!" Wade yelled in excitement as he was a winner as the crowd cheered.

Pete couldn't believe that he lost to his own son he abandoned.

"Oh! Unbelievable! Oh! The upstart has done it!"

"Oh, my God, I did it! I won! I'm a champion!" Wade cheered as he kneeled down.

Suddenly, Knuckles and Gwen crashed through walls and the crowd gasps at the sight of them.

"Knuckles? Gwen?" Wade questioned in surprise.

"Wade Whipple!" Both Knuckles and Gwen said in unison.

"Get your people to safety before they--" Knuckles started before he and Gwen were taken back out by the mechanical tentacles.

The crowd screams as everyone in the bleachers starts evacuating. Wade ram through the hole in the hole that Knuckles and Gwen crashed through.

"Wade! Where are you going?" Wendy asked with worry.

"To help my friends!"

Once Wade is outside, he sees Gwen down and defeat on the ground while Knuckles is captured in the hands of Dr. Snively.

"Knuckles? Gwen?" he called with worry.

"Wade! Stay back!" Knuckles warned.

"Okay, the stakes have been raised considerably." Wade said to himself nervously.

"Don't worry, Echidna. This'll all be over soon. All I need is... every ounce of your power."

Dr. Snively begins zapping at Knuckles' head with his two red cannons from it's mechanical hand, causing him to yell in agony.

"Knuckles!!" Gwen shouted as she got up with a help of Wade. "What are you doing to him?!"

Knuckles keeps yelling as Dr. Snively keeps taking all of his power until he was done and Knuckles is out of energy. This left Gwen shocked in horror.

"Your power is mine, Echidna. Your only purpose now... is to die!"

He throws knuckles to the ground hard but Gwen catches him and puts him down as Wade comes over to Knuckles' aid.

"Knuckles!" Gwen called sadly for her boyfriend as she held him closely. "Come on! Wake up! Stay with me!"

"Buddy! What did he do to you?" Wade asked worriedly.

"You caused me a lotta trouble. Now I'm gonna make you pay." Dr. Snively said without care.

Wade looked at the Knuckles for a moment and then came face-to-face with the buyer with a serious face. Gwen stays with Knuckles to protect him.

"You think you're so tough, hiding behind that metal onesie you're wearing? I'm not scared of you. Come and get me!"

The Buyer's mech suit starts coming closer as Wade looks scared.

"Okay, I was bluffing." Wade said, making Gwen sigh.

Just then, they heard the sound of La Cucaracha novelty horn coming from a pin-shaped car as it drives up to Wade as the tires screeches to a stop.

"Whoa!"

"Somebody call for backup?" Wendy said as she lowered down her sunglasses, making Wade laugh gladly that they're here.

"We thought you could use a hand." Wanda said, taking off her sunglasses and giving him a gauntlet from Agent Mason he slipped earlier.

"God, that was a good line." Wade said, putting on the mech gloves with the energy sizzling. "Alright, Wade. Let's do this. Let's roll."

He grabs a bowling ball and is ready to throw it at Dr. Snively before throwing it at the mechanical robot, and Dr. Snively growls as he struggles to fight back.

Gwen smiles to have Wade's protection for her and Knuckles, just like Tom protected her and Sonic from Eggman. She holds her Knuckles close to her.

"Knuckles, I hope you can hear this. You taught me how to stand up for myself and fight!" Wade started his speech as he kept throwing bowling balls at Dr. Snively's mech suit. "And we're stronger than ever now... because we fight together! A warrior's true strength comes from their heart. And your heart has never been bigger! You fight to honor your family! You fight to protect your friends! You fight for the ones you love! And now, you have something new to fight for. A home!"

Memories of Wade fight his former best friend and won. Knuckles and Gwen ride in their motorcycles while Wade rides behind Knuckles to ride to Reno. Wendy put her hand on Knuckles' fist and Knuckles smiles as Gwen leans her head on his shoulder. They put a song called "Rock You Like a Hurricane" by Scorpions playing on the radio. Wade and Knuckles laugh and scream excitedly, while Gwen is rocking out by singing along as Wade turns up the radio. Wade came back riding a motorcycle with a cowboy hat on, and Knuckles and Gwen watching him proudly. They soar through the night sky with Wade now laughing and cheering at the flight. Knuckles, Wade, and Gwen fly past the moon. Knuckles and Gwen dance a tango together at the casino, with him dipping her down as they travel through the crowd. Knuckles and Gwen look deeply into each other's eyes before kissing. And last but not least, they watched the candles burn out together and Gwen and Knuckles held each other's as their feelings grew better.

Gwen shed a tear as she looked down at her boyfriend, knowing she would always love him no matter what. Wade tried to grab another ball, but he's running out of bowling balls.

"Looks like you're all out of balls!" Dr. Snively grinned and was about to attack but Gwen leapt to Wade's defense and blocked the tentacle controlled by Dr. Snively with her red ruby sword.

"This is our home!" Gwen said bravely.

Dr. Snively was about to hit Gwen with another mechanical tentacle, but Knuckles grabbed it too defend his girlfriend.

"And we will fight for our home!" Knuckles added.

They yelled as the power drained from Dr. Snively's mech suit and went back to Knuckles.

"No! No!" My power!" Dr. Snively yelled in horror as the mech suit was powering down.

They dropped down the tentacles and Knuckles holds up his flaming fists as the "Flames of Disaster" while Gwen summons out her ruby sword from her necklace and starts glowing around her body.

"The Flames of Disaster!" Wade called out in realization.

"Come on!" Dr. Snively yelled, ready to fight.

Knuckles and Gwen fight Dr. Snively, as they both twist around and dash at him, leaving a trail of red magic and flames behind them. Knuckles flames in one side of mechanical tentacles and Gwen slices in the other of mechanical tentacles. They jump high leaving another trail of red magic and flames behind them.

"Finish him, guys!"

Wade then launches a gauntlet to a giant ball from the casino rooftop as it falls off the building. Knuckles stops it by leaping and holding it up with his tremendous strength. Gwen was distracting Dr. Snively by throwing her tessen powered by her ruby to slice his suit before flipping away as Knuckles threw it down towards Dr. Snively, who yelled before he got crushed by a giant ball as a defeat. Knuckles and Gwen landed dramatically with Gwen posing with her sword.

"Victory is ours." they said in unison as the sphere collapsed and they smiled at each other.

Dylan and Gary get up from an unexpected event as they look around the now empty room.

"Wow. Well, there you have it, folks. This proves what I've been saying all along. Absolutely anything can happen in the National Bowling Championships." Gary spoke out.

"You know, Gary, I looked it up, and actually, this has happened before. There was a visit by an extraterrestrial in the 1974 tourney, but I don't think he was red or the the female one was blue." Dylan informed.

"Well, you might be right, but I'm gonna tell you, this time was a lot more fun. What a show tonight, people." Gary said.

"So fun. Oh! Looks like there's some more action down on the lanes."

Dylan spotted more action at the lanes as Pete was stealing the trophy and laughing crazily.

"Hey! That dork burger's stealing the trophy!" Susie tattletailed as her parents lead her out of the tournament room.

"Shut your gob hole, you little brat!" Pete growled with a cocky accent before running away.

"Oh no! Pistol Pete is stealing the trophy, and he lost thetournament! I don't know what the rule book says about this, Gary." Dylan couldn't believe what he just saw.

Pete was about to get away with a trophy but was stopped by Wendy and Wanda.

"Oh, no, you don't. Take your hands off my son's trophy, you schmuck!" Wendy said before punching him in the face.

Pete grunted from the impact and fell down. Wanda laughed and placed her foot on his chest. Wade, Knuckles, and Gwen just came in by the hole in the wall.

"Mom, that was awesome! Ever think about joining the FBI?" Wanda offered before kicking Pete.

"Well, if it means I can spend more time with my daughter, I'd love to." Wendy answered gladly.

Pete groans in pain from the hit he received from botb Wendy and Wanda. Wade takes his trophy back from his no-good father.

"You did it, Wade Whipple! You won!" Knuckles said proudly.

"Buddies, we did it." Wade corrected.

"I'm so proud of you boys! We are the warriors!" Gwen declared with a cheer.

The trio jumped up to high five each other as "Whatta Man" by Salt-N-Pepa & En Vogue was being played.

As they motorcycle ride their way back to Green Hill from Reno with Wade carrying a trophy, Wade has an idea.

"Hey, Knuckles! Gwen! How about some new road trip music? I call this mix "The Warriors Jammerz." Wade said before playing "The Warrior" by Scandal from his Cassette Recorder Player.

"What is this amazing song?" Knuckles asked in curiosity.

"Could this be..." Gwen raised a question.

"Yes! This is... my jam!" Knuckles said in delight at the song

"Guess what, babe? This is my jam too! Let's ride home, boys!" Gwen smiled, appreciating the song too as they ride to the sunset.
