The next morning, Wade wakes up while the background music in "Good Morning" by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed plays. He catches the newspaper from the hole in the wall from last night.

"Whoa! Thanks, Eric!" he said.

"Morning, Wade!" Eric greeted.

"Love the new wheels, pal!"

The TV was glitching as Wade grabbed a cereal Fruity Crunch grabbed milk from the refrigerator that was broken and ate his breakfast. Wade walks out of the house in his pajamas, holding a mug as he looks around the neighborhood.

"I think today is gonna be a beautiful day," he said with a smile.

He goes to drink his coffee when a rope wraps around his leg, making him look down.

"Hmm?"

Ignorant of the rope fastened to his motorcycle, a man with a cowboy hat starts up the engine and gets on the road. Wade yells and tumbles down the stairs, landing on his back and sliding down the street while clinging to his mug.

"KNUCKLES, HELP ME!!!" he screamed, seeing them outside.

Knuckles simply looks at the screaming Wade while grasping a pot. Beside him, Gwen is holding a glass cup with a bamboo lid that is specially designed, and a straw that is filled with iced coffee.

"You going to rescue him?" she asked her boyfriend.

"No." he answered.

"Yeah, I wouldn't either." she agreed as she sipped her iced coffee.

"Do something, Mr. Jorgensen!" Wade screamed at his neighbor as he slid past by.

"In order to become a true warrior, He must learn to rescue himself." Knuckles stated.

"KNUCKLES!!" Wade screamed after him, still being sliding away by a runaway motorcycle.

"Wade is going to be just fine" Knuckles continued before drinking his coffee out of the whole pot.

"No! I'm not!" Wade screamed back.

"If you say so, I just hope he'll come back okay." Gwen said.

While they wait for Wade to come back, Knuckles, Gwen, Wendy, and Wanda are in the living room. And Wendy was curious about how they met as their tribe were enemies back then.

"So, Knuchles, Gwen. I was wondering how you two met" Wendy asked.

Knuckles and Gwen looked at each other and blushed as Gwen went first.

"Well, it's a long story but we met when we were kids and we played together in secret because we don't want our tribe to find out about us. And we give each other friendship bracelets to never forget each other and our tribe went separate and we never see each other since then."

This caused Wendy and Wanda to feel sad for them.

"Then how did you two find each other again?" Wanda asked.

"We found each other unawares." Knuckles answered nervously, while Gwen was glancing at her boyfriend unamused for helping Eggman to destroy her brother.

"Let's just say, my boyfriend was helping our enemy named Dr. Robotnik off of the Mushroom Planet and tried to destroy my brother and kidnapped me to get to the Master Emerald." she explained while she crossed her arms and glanced at Knuckles who was chuckling nervously while rubbing the back of his neck.

"The point is... after we finally met after all these years of being separated as kids, we still made mistakes by fighting against each other and I almost got killed by not listening. But we learned from our mistakes and even sometimes from betrayals. And I know in my heart that we'll always have each other to protect our home and our family, no matter what the cost might be." Gwen said, holding his hands as he smiled and they placed their foreheads together.

"Awww." Wendy awed the lovely couple while Wanda was grossed out as she pointed at her tongue.

Gwen started tickling Knuckles as she sneakily put her fingers on his chest. Knuckles was curious about what she was doing. She looked around the living room and found a feather that looked like it was used for a duster and it looked clean, making her smirk.

"Gwen, what are you doing?" Knuckles asked.

"Nothing, I'm not doing anything." Gwen lied, slowly walking towards him.

Knuckles saw what she was doing and backed away.

"No. Wait. No."

"I'm simply walking towards you. There's no reason to panic." Gwen said, moving the feather towards his stomach.

"Wait. Now, Gwen--" Knuckles said, struggling not to smile.

"I'm just coming towards you." Gwen repeated with a smile.

"Wait. No. Gwen. No."

"Does it tickle?" she asked, tickling his stomach with a feather and Knuckles tried not to laugh.

Seeing that made her do it again and tickled his chest, making Knuckles start laughing as he tried to get away from Gwen, which made her laugh as well. They ran around the couch with Gwen still tickling Knuckles, which made Wendy and Wanda chuckle at the sight.

"What about when I do this? Why are you laughing?" Gwen laughed.

"I-I am not!!" he denied, trying not to smile.

"I see you laughing." she giggled.

"Don't make me come get you." he warned.

As Gwen tickled Knuckles, they laughed and fell over the couch to the floor as they played. Wendy and Wanda looked at them, seeing that they were happy. Wendy had an idea and whispered something to Wanda's ear, saying how they'd be together more than ever once they got to Reno and they nodded in agreement. Knuckles managed to grab Gwen's wrist to prevent her from tickling him any further, making her giggle as he gave her an amused smile.

"Gwen, I have a surprise for you," Wendy said, making them turn to her.

"A surprise? For me? What is it?" Gwen questioned excitedly.

"Come with me."

Gwen gets up and walks to the bedroom with Wendy. Once they walk in, Wendy gets prepared for a surprise.

"Okay Gwen, now I would like you to close your eyes and not open until I say so, okay?"

"Okay." Gwen nodded, wondering what is it she would like to show her.

"Now close your eyes and no peeking," Wendy said.

Gwen closed her eyes while Wendy looked in her drawer to pick some nice clothes to fit her size luckily, she found the old clothes that she used to wear when she was younger and would fit Gwen nicely. She organized her old clothes on her bed, she even found some nice shoes for her feet. And now it's time for Gwen to open her eyes for a special surprise.

"Okay, Gwen. You can open your eyes now."

Once Gwen opened them, she gasped in shock to see the wonderful clothes for her. She gets excited and immediately hugs Wendy tightly.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you so much! It's wonderful!"

Wendy hugged back, patting her head.

"You're welcome, Gwen. It's the least I can do to show my appreciation to you for coming here and helping bring us together."

They pulled away after as Gwen grabbed her clothes and her shoes.

"Let me wear this so that I can show it to Knuckles. He'll be so surprised." she said.

While Gwen and Wendy are in the bedroom, Knuckles and Wanda are still in the living room, sitting and staring at each other in boredom. Wanda then decides to break the silence by asking.

"So Knuckles, what's so interesting about Gwen? Why do you ever like her?" she raised a question curiously.

"Well, Gwen can be very furious especially the part about betrayal. But she's strong and tough when it comes to battle and fights like a warrior. That's what I love about her because she's a warrior just like me, so strong, tough, and beautiful." Knuckles answered, looking all happy and swooning. "And her heart is pure."

Wanda gets grossed out, seeing him all lovey-dovey.

"Okay, I get it, Knucks, you don't have to tell me all these lovely moments."

"Hey, guys," Gwen called out.

Knuckles and Wanda turned their heads to see Gwen wearing her new outfit as she wore a black jacket with red stripes, a red shirt, black shorts with red bows, black long socks, and black mid-heel shoes. She's still wearing her same black fingerless gloves.

Knuckles was speechless with his mouth and eyes wide open, thinking in his mind that she was hot and Wanda was impressed by her new outfit, especially since she now wears shorts.

"So, what do you think of my new outfit?" Gwen asked.

"You look amazing, Gwen. And you look like a real good fighter in that outfit." Wanda said, nodding which surprised Gwen.

"Wow. Thanks, Wanda, that's... Real kind of you." Gwen said, looking a bit weirded out.

Gwen then looks at Knuckles, who's blushing as he keeps staring at her. She walks to her boyfriend and waves her hand to his face as she tries to snap him out of it. So she kissed his cheek to make him snap out of his trance, but he fainted on the couch instead and she giggled while blushing and sat down next to him to get comfortable and snuggle each other as Wendy and Wanda left to give them some space.

After a while, they heard a motorcycle coming along the neighborhood, they walked out to see Wade come back riding it, wearing a cowboy hat.

"Is that..." Wanda started.

"It can't be." Wendy said in shock.

"It is." Knuckles and Gwen said in unison, looking proud.

Wade parked the motorcycle on the grass to face them.

"Mother. Sister." Wade said in a dramatic tone.

"Wade. Get off the grass." Wendy scolded him.

"Yep. Yep, sorry." Wade laughed nervously as he started the engine again to back up.

"He's ready." Knuckles said, smiling.

"He sure is. Let's ride." Gwen added.

Knuckles rides the motorcycle wearing a cowboy hat with Wade riding behind him. Gwen rides her own motorcycle with her cat-shaped helmet on and wears the new clothes that Wendy gave to her while Wendy and Wanda are behind them in the van looking cool. They're on their way to Reno where the sign is for the bowling tournament.
