The F/C Echidna quickly dodge a yellow spear coming from the black hedgehog, It made Shadow more irritated.

"Stay still!" The black hedgehog said as he continue to shoot Chaos Spears at the F/C echidna.

The echidna did a backflip to avoid each Chaos Spears that are heading towards him.

When he landed he suddenly got punch straight in the face, he stumbled back as Shadow twist his body and kick him from the side as the echidna got send away.

But the F/C echidna quickly use his robotic arm to stop himself from hitting into the tree, his purple eyes furiously glowed glarring at the hedgehog's crimson eyes.

Shadow glared back as he position himself and start to spindash the echidna, however the echidna quickly caught the hedgehog with both of his hands, he struggled keeping the hedgehog in his hold.

"g-grr...GRAH!" Using his strength he managed to throw the black hedgehog up in the air still in his spindash form.

Shadow unrolled himself he was about to shoot Chaos Spears until his eyes widen when he heard the next thing that came out of the F/C echidna's mouth.

" CHAOS CONTROL!" In a instant the echidna teleported away.

Shadow is still in the air, his eyes widen processing what the echidna just did.

But before he can take it all in he instantly feel pain in the back, it was because the  echidna teleport behind him and kick his back in full force making Shadow crashed straight to the ground like a shooting star, creating a crater around him.

The echidna landed and stood straight starring at the Black hedgehog's unconscious form.

He walked towards the black hedgehog and grabbed something inside of his black and red stripes quills.

He pulled his hand back showing he have the Green Chaos Emerald.

The echidna stared at the emerald as his Yellow Chaos Emerald glowed sensing the other.

The echidna closed his eyes as the Green Chaos Emerald glowed in respond.

"...Chaos Control " he said as he instantly glowed and teleport away, leaving the black hedgehog unconscious on the ground.

"are we there yet?"

"Sonic, I swear if you ask one more time I'll punch you straight out of the Island" Knuckles said to Sonic turning around to face the blue hedgehog.

"jeez, I'm just asking" Sonic said crossing his arms, Tails sighs.

"Sonic you have been asking that question every 30 seconds" Tails pointed out while Knuckles is looking at the map.

"well it felt way too long, and It's boring!" Sonic complained lifting both of his hands up in the air.

"well you have to deal with it" Knuckles said in respond obviously annoyed but still have his attention on the map.

Sonic huffed in annoyance as Knuckles just rolled his eyes in respond, Tails sweatdropped having to be in the middle of this situation.

The trio keep going traveling through the Angel Island to find the Conventina Falls.

But now it's been hours and the trio haven't find the waterfall.

"Knuckles I think your leading us in the wrong way" Sonic said as Knuckles just growls in respond.

"I'm trying! And I'm sure we're heading the right way just be patience" Knuckles said back to Sonic making Sonic sigh.

"Knuckles we've been looking for 7 hours!" Sonic complained as Knuckles isn't replying having his focuse on the map.

"Sonic, it's only been 3 not 7" Tails corrected him while Sonic tried to pretend that he didn't heard him.

Sonic look offended and annoyed that Knuckles ignored him, he start to walk towards him while Tails blink when he sees Sonic walked pass him and went to Knuckles as he have a feeling something bad will happen.

"I'll lead the way instead" he said snatching the map out of the echidna's hands as his eyes widen, the then glared at Sonic.

"Sonic give that back!" Knuckles said trying to reach the map but the blue hedgehog lift his hand up in the air where he have the map, keeping it away from the echidna's grasp.

"oops, hah your too slow" Sonic smirked trying to avoid Knuckles and starting to taunt him by keeping the map away from him, Knuckles look pissed and still trying reach for the map.

"Sonic I don't have time for this!" he said trying to get to Sonic but as the blue hedgehog having to be The Fastest Thing Alive he easily dodges the echidna with a smirk.

Tails watched the two having a fight over the map, he start to feel worried.

"Guys?" Tails called out but the two aren't listening as Knuckles still trying to get the map.

Eventually Knuckles managed to grabbed the other side of the map making Sonic suprised and Knuckles tried to get it out of the hedgehog's grasp.

"give me the map back Sonic!" Knuckles growls pulling the map but as stubborn as he is Sonic isn't letting him.

"No, I'm ganna lead the way this time!" he said getting the map to his side, Tails furrowed his brows watching the two having a tag on war on the map.

The two started to pull the map in seperate sides as none of them noticed that there's now a tear on the map.

" Guys! " Tails called out again but the two aren't still listening to him still having their attention to the map.

"Sonic! Give me the map!"

"Your doing it wrong, let me lead the way!"

"You are just being impatience, finding the waterfalls is not that easy!"

"then your just bad"

"GUYS!" Tails shouted at them making them look however it was too late as the map already got teared apart, because of the force their putting in and it made them stumbled back.

Knuckles hit his back against the tree having the half piece of the map while Sonic yelped and landing on the river nearby making himself wet.

Knuckles shakes his head as he look at the map, his eyes widen seeing it was only half of the map, he quickly look at the half piece he have wishing it have the place where the waterfall is located but showed it isn't, that means Sonic have the other piece where the waterfall is located.

He look and sees Tails helping Sonic up and out of the river as he quickly went to them.

"Sonic give me the other half" he said getting his hand out for the blue hedgehog.

Sonic just look at him confused but still isn't happy his all wet.

"what half?" he asked as Knuckles start to feel anger raising inside.

"the other half of the map!" he said to him showing him the half of the map he have as Sonic blink, he was about to give it to him but stops when he realized...

He didn't have the other half.

"u-uhh..."Sonic said nervously as Knuckles look at him up and down, he noticed he didn't have the other half.

"... " silence filled the atmosphere around the trio, soon Knuckles start to walk away as Sonic felt guilt inside of him.

" Knuckles I-" Sonic and Tails got startled when Knuckles punch the tree making it fell over.

Sonic's ears dropped feeling guilt as Tails look concern looking at Sonic then at Knuckles.

"...what are we ganna do now?" Knuckles asked suddenly making both of them to look at him.

"W-what?" Sonic asked as Knuckles let out a furious growl.

"I said what are we ganna do now genius?!" he yelled at him with anger in his voice making Tails flinched a little.

"Kn-Knux I-"

"No, because of that idiotic mind of yours thinking it's a good idea to play around instead of looking for the waterfall!" Knuckles said at Sonic still have his voice raises.

"well it isn't my fault your the one who also pulled the map too!" Sonic argued back as that pissed Knuckles off.

"my fault? MY Fault?! Your the one being impatience of all things!" Knuckles said back at him pointing his gloved hand towards the blue hedgehog.

"well because you don't have the-" Sonic tried to defend himself only to get instantly cutted off.

"YOUR the one that doesn't understand anything about a f*cking map!" Sonic flinched at Knuckle's sudden shout, his voice doesn't sounds him.

Sure, Knuckles can get angry most of the time but not this kind, Knuckles glared at Sonic very furiously as his purple eyes glowed slightly in anger, his teeth is showing hearing a growl from his mouth, a small tear formed around his eye.

"K...Knuckles .." Sonic said tried to apologize but he looks away from him.

"y..you ruined my chance Sonic...you ruined it" He said trying to keep his tears in, he let out a growl before running off.

"Knuckles!" Sonic called out for him he was about to run after him but Tails quickly grabbed his arm.

Sonic look at Tails and sees him with a upset expression and shakes his head, Sonic's expression changes as he look where Knuckles run off, feeling guilt inside of him.

Sonic then look at the river and quickly went towards it and start to look around for the other half of the map, trying to fix the problem that he started.

The F/C echidna teleport back to the base panting from exhustion.

He stumbled a bit but force his legs to move, he start to walk holding the Green Chaos Emerald and move his hand towards his deadlock quills pulling out the Yellow Chaos Emerald and continue to walk.

"ah...you came back, tell me you got it?" Eggman asked as the F/C echidna look at Eggman before showing him the two Chaos Emeralds, it made Eggman smile in delight.

"very well, rest for now I'll keep the Emeralds safe where they belong" he said in evil tone as The F/C echidna just nodded in respond too tired to care, he give him the two Chaos Emeralds before leaving.

He went to the room where he first wake up in seeing the medical machines still there but all turned off, he went to the bed and let himself fall to a soft bed letting his eyelids drop drifting off to sleep.

A mobian went to tree branch to tree branch in swift movements, his eyes scan around the area but soon stops when he sees a crater.

He narrowed his eyes as he went to where the crater is, when he arrived he leaned forward to see as his eyes widen seeing the black hedgehog still unconscious on the ground in the crater.

"Shadow?" the mobian asked before immediately went towards the black hedgehog, he kneel down seeing the injuries he have, it's not that serious but still need to get treated.

He held the black hedgehog and carried him as he look around, he stared at Shadow with his golden eyes.

"who did this to you..?" he asked before walking off to find medical help.

"I'm home!" The male echidna yelled out, coming inside with a bright smile.

"Pa!"

"Papa!"

Two voices respond as two echidnas run, heading towards the dark red echidna, the male echidna let out a chuckle and spread his arms open for his two children.

The two launched themselves to the Father's open arms as he immediately hold them and carry them while the two children laugh.

The mother of the house watches the scene with a kind smile to her face.

The Father sees his wife and he let his two sons go, he smiled seeing her as he start to walk towards her.

"you alright Love?" she asked as the male smiled touching her muzzle with care.

"yes I'm fine...now that I'm here with you" he said as he smirked the female giggled pushing him slightly.

"alright my brave warrior, you have to watch over your little trouble makers though" she said pointing behind him.

The male raised a brow he look behind him and his eyes immediately wide seeing his two sons playing with his spear.

"---! -----! It's not a toy!" he yelled as he quickly run towards his children getting the spear out of their hands as the Mother giggled watching and smiled at her husband and her pair of twins.
