it was a year after yohan's first heat. wooseok's heat was nearing soon since his birthday was a week away and he couldn't help but be nervous. yohan had decided to slowly let yuvin into his heat and yuvin helped him. even though wooseok knew he had jinhyuk, he couldn't help but be a little nervous.

"you'll be fine" yohan reassured, patting the junior on his head, "you have jinhyuk beside you and i'm sure he'd be delighted to spend your first heat together"

wooseok sighed, "its not that. i'm scared that it'd get out of control and jinhyuk's rut would be triggered"

"everyone here knows that jinhyuk has more self control than anyone" hangyul giggled, "even seungyoun doesn't have any and besides, jinhyuk and his alpha self wouldn't even dare hurt you. you're the love of his life for god's sake!"

"yeah" wooseok smiled, laying back onto his bed.

wooseok had wanted to bring up the topic to jinhyuk but he couldn't bring himself too. it was too embarrassing to even ask jinhyuk. did he need to ask? he was counting down the days to his eighteenth birthday and he just kept getting more distressed.

even when jinhyuk's strong arms would wrap around his when they were sitting on the rooftop of the school during lunch break still made wooseok a tad bit anxious. jinhyuk being the good alpha he was quickly noticed the change in his omega.

"love" jinhyuk whispered, digging his nose into wooseok's scent gland, "what's wrong? you seem a little scared"

wooseok shook his head, nuzzling his back against jinhyuk's chest, "its nothing hyukkie"

"you know i don't believe that" jinhyuk chuckled, inhaling the sweet scent, "i'm your alpha. you can tell me anything"

wooseok let out a soft sigh as he let jinhyuk's warmth envelop him, "its just my heat and i'm scared that's all"

"but you do know i'm here right?" jinhyuk frowned, a small pout forming on his face, "i'll stay by your side and help you"

"i know!" wooseok exclaimed a little, "b-but i'm just scared that it will hurt"

jinhyuk hummed, snaking his arms around wooseok's waist, "i'll make sure you don't get hurt how about that? i would never want to see you hurt love"

wooseok smiled, cheeks heating up as he felt jinhyuk pull him impossibly closer. he knew he was in the right hands. jinhyuk was going to take care of him. he was going to help him through his heat. his very first heat that was in exactly a week— seven days.

"one question baby" jinhyuk whispered into his ear, making wooseok hum, "would you like to bond with me during your heat?" jinhyuk's fingertips grazed across the faded teeth marks, "i won't do it if you don't want me too. whatever you're comfortable with"

wooseok nodded, smiling at his boyfriend, "of course i would like to bond with you. that's what i've wanted since we were little kids"

"even if it hurts?" jinhyuk clearly had fear of hurting his omega in his eyes.

"i'm not made of glass jinhyuk" wooseok giggled, turning around to straddle his alpha's lap, "as long as you're there to take care of me when i'm hurt then i'm okay with it" wooseok even added a kiss onto the alpha's lips, catching him by surprise which made wooseok smirk.

"you're adorable" jinhyuk looked into the omega's eyes lovingly, "i don't want to hurt you. but if that's what you want then i'll do it"

wooseok smacked jinhyuk's cheek lightly, "stop acting like such a good, adorable, kind alpha because that's exactly what you are" wooseok had a small red tint on his cheeks which jinhyuk found adorable.

jinhyuk chuckled, "well what do you want me to act like? mean and rough on you?" the alpha noticed how the omega's cheeks turned a darker shade of red. oh how jinhyuk loved teasing wooseok, "but i would never unless you want me to"

"s-shut up!" wooseok exclaimed, getting off of jinhyuk's lap and walking to the door to go down the stairs. jinhyuk followed him like a helpless puppy, carrying his backpack on his shoulder.

"wait for me babe!" jinhyuk exclaimed, running after wooseok down the stairs, "i didn't mean to—"

wooseok stopped, looking at the taller run down the stairs to him with heavy pants, "do i smell weird?"

"huh?" jinhyuk cocked his head to the side, sniffing around until he noticed a difference in wooseok's usual smeell, "a little?"

wooseok looked at jinhyuk with worry. was this his pre-heat symptoms? yohan had something similar to that as well. his heat could happen during class and jinhyuk might not be there. he cursed at his new schedule for junior year. he only had two classes with jinhyuk and they all already passed. he felt jinhyuk grab his shoulders and pull him into a tight hug.

"don't worry" jinhyuk whispered, rubbing his scent gland against wooseok's, "no one is going to touch you. if anything happens, you go to the nurse okay? then you can ask the nurse to call me and i'll be right over in a jiffy"

wooseok nodded, heart feeling full of all the affection his alpha was giving him. even with his scent getting thicker and sweeter, jinhyuk's scent calmed him down to some degree and the weird feeling in his stomach disappeared, "i love you"

"i love you too" jinhyuk beamed, letting go of wooseok to grab his hand, "now let me take you to class before the bell rings" wooseok nodded, clutching onto jinhyuk's arm, hugging it tightly as they walked down the hall together.

he was glad when he made it past the rest of the school day without anything stirring up except for the weird feeling in his stomach. sometimes it sent a shock of pain through his body, making him hug his stomach during the middle of the lesson. other than that, he felt normal aside from the stares he was receiving from alphas. his scent was definitely getting sweeter and that just attracted alphas like pollen does to bees.

of course jinhyuk noticed how the alphas were eye raping his alpha. he grit his teeth as he walked to pick wooseok from his locker. the sight of the omega bending down to grab something from his locker was enough to make the alphas whistle and holler. that was when jinhyuk had the last straw and approached wooseok, grabbing at his ass, making wooseok yelp, calming down when he realized that it was only his boyfriend and not some pervy alpha.

"jinhyuk" wooseok whined, blushing vigorously, "what was that for?"

jinhyuk smirked, catching the other alphas walking away with a disappointing look in their eye, "just had to do that" wooseok glared at him, shutting his locker door, making jinhyuk rub his nape awkwardly, "w-well it was because there alphas were staring at your ass and i had to show them that that ass is mine!"

"are you kidding me hyuk?" wooseok rolled his eyes, intertwining his fingers with jinhyuk's nonetheless. the looked away from jinhyuk's pouty face with red cheeks, which wooseok hoped jinhyuk couldn't see, "t-that was cute then"

jinhyuk's pout immediately turned into a wide smile, "i can do that more often then?"

"no" wooseok mumbled. he wouldn't last long from the embarrassment if jinhyuk did that again. but then again, jinhyuk's hands on his ass was something that he hadn't felt before. he liked it?, "o-only if alphas are looking at me then you can do it"

if jinhyuk was a puppy, he'd have his tail wagging back and forth. he held wooseok's hand tightly as the walked out of the school and back to wooseok's place. they jumped onto wooseok's bed and immediately started cuddling with each other as soon as they got home. they never found it boring at all. spending time with their lover was never boring.

"does it hurt?" jinhyuk asked, his hand lowering to touch wooseok's stomach, "your stomach i mean"

woosoek shook his head, shivers running down his spine as he felt jinhyuk's hand underneath his shirt, "it hurt before but it stopped hurting now. it must be pre-heat symptoms"

"do you need suppressants?" jinhyuk asked, rubbing soft circled on wooseok's skin, "i could go out and buy some—"

wooseok shook his head once again, hugging jinhyuk tightly, "i don't want you to go anywhere. seobin has suppressants on his desk and i could always take some anyways"

"you've become more clingy" jinhyuk teased, making wooseok's face flush red for almost the hundredth time today, "is this a part of your pre-heat too because i love it"

"be quiet" wooseok grumbled, digging his head into jinhyuk's chest as he closed his eyes softly, "don't get too used to it. i'm blaming it on my heat"

"you're normally this cuddly too babe" jinhyuk chuckled, kissing wooseok's forehead, "i like it"

wooseok puffed his cheeks in slight annoyance, "you try having a heat. my omega is practically controlling me and all it wants is love and affection from its alpha"

"okay okay" jinhyuk smiled, "i do have a rut though but those hurt like hell"

wooseok opened his eyes, looking right into the alpha's eyes, "y-you had one already?"

jinhyuk hummed, "i did but i didn't want you to know so i just told you i was flying back to see my parents that week"

"you lied to me?" wooseok frowned, "why didn't you want me to know?"

jinhyuk sighed, holding his omega close, "because you would find a way to help me and that would lead you to getting hurt. my alpha side is really strong when it goes into its ruts and i don't want to be anywhere near you or else i'll get out of control"

wooseok understood, resting his head on the older's chest, "but still, you should've told me. it must've hurt didn't it?"

"hurt like hell" jinhyuk let a little giggle slip his lips, "but i did have some of the sweaters you left behind at my place so it was alright"

"next time tell me so i can give you some of my clothes. you take care of me when i'm in my heat and i'll take care of you when you're in your rut, okay?"
