the others comforted yuvin while his boyfriend was in heat. he felt alone and his alpha self just wanted to bust through the door of yohan's home and tend to his whiny and needy omega. he could feel the pain yohan was in even though they didn't have a bond mark yet— but still.

it was the fourth day since yohan hasn't been in school. yoonbin had promised to keep yuvin updated and most of the text messages from him were either about yohan's loud whines or his strong pheromones that kicked him out of the house most of the time. the little alpha was determined to not be affected by any other omega's pheromones accept his own.

"it's his first heat" wooseok mumbled, sitting himself on jinhyuk's lap, "i feel so bad"

"yuvin didn't have a choice" jinhyuk said, petting wooseok's head softly, "they would end up getting hurt if yuvin's heat got triggered"

yuvin lowered his head, feeling ashamed that he couldn't even be there for his boyfriend when he was in undying pain. all he could do was give him clothes that reeked of his scent and nothing else.

he felt seungyoun pat his back, "don't feel bad. it was for the best and i'm sure yohan would be willing to spend the next heat with you"

"but this was his first heat" yuvin rubbed the crown of his forehead, "its the one that hurts most and as his stupid alpha i can't do shit"

"don't say that" hangyul frowned, "you did so much for him to prepare him for it. you even lent him your whole closet. he would've hurt even more if he didn't have your scent all around you"

they all nodded, attempting to cheer up the depressed alpha. it did work— to some degree, but not until yohan showed up at yuvin's house. yuvin was practically a happy dog who had his tongue sticking out and his tail wagging back and forth when he saw yohan standing by the doorway.

"i missed you!" yohan almost cried in yuvin's arms. the arms that he missed so much. the arms that would protect him from any alpha. the man the scent— the scent that he was drowned in in the past few days was stronger than ever.

"i missed you even more" yuvin attacked yohan with kisses, closing the door behind them and pushing yohan against it as his lips was placed all over yohan's neck, sucking and biting to his heart's content.

the two couples watched as yuvin practically devoured the omega, sitting back and continuing to talk about miscellaneous topics. they made sure to check on them every once in a while to make sure yuvin didn't actually devour him, but they chuckled once they saw them on the couch. that was their cue to leave.

seungyoun and hangyul went back to hangyul's place while jinhyuk and wooseok went to a nearby cake shop. wooseok wasn't pregnant or anything but his appetite was quite big— even though he still had his small figure and slim body of his.

"this one jinhyuk!" wooseok exclaimed, pointing at the colorful layered cake through the glass screen, "this one looks good!"

jinhyuk sighed, smiling at his mate, "you've said that for all the cakes in the store love. just choose one"

"but they're all good" wooseok pouted, crossing his arms, "would you buy them all for me?"

jinhyuk bit his bottom lip, "babe—"

"i know i know you won't let me buy all of them" wooseok sighed, bending down to look at cakes once again before making his final decision. jinhyuk didn't know if wooseok acted cute and wiggled his ass on purpose or not, but jinhyuk felt himself look away with a red face.

"i-its not that" jinhyuk mumbled, "i don't want you to eat too much and get sick love"

wooseok looked back, "but i won't!"

the alpha rolled his eyes, "last time i brought you two cakes and you threw up the next morning remember?"

wooseok's cheeks flushed red at the minion of that embarrassing memory, "n-no i don't!"

"you do" jinhyuk smirked, pulling wooseok up to his side, "and stop teasing me you lil devil"

wooseok smirked back at him, "only if you get me two cakes"

jinhyuk let out a low growl, not one that would really scare wooseok, but would make him feel a little submissive, "o-or just get me two small ones!" jinhyuk gave in to his omega boyfriend and payed for the two cakes of wooseok's choice. they walked out hand in hand, the other hand busy holding the cakes in their boxes.

they made it home after a few minutes, sitting down on the floor of wooseok's room and eating the cakes. wooseok was happily sitting in between jinhyuk's legs as he got cream all over his lips and jinhyuk was convinced that wooseok just wanted to tease him.

"babe" jinhyuk sighed, turning wooseok's face to him, "you're making a mess everywhere. slow down" jinhyuk giggled, wiping the cream off with a napkin, dabbing it off softly, "the cake isn't going anywhere"

"but its good" wooseok said with a mouthful full of cake, "so so good"

jinhyuk laughed at the omega whose cheeks were filled up with the soft strawberry cake, "but still. like you have so cream here too" jinhyuk licked the corner of wooseok's lips, making wooseok flush.

that was his intention but jinhyuk actually did it, making him shocked.

"do you know what day it is?" wooseok asked, dropping his fork down on the plate and turning around to face his lover, as his back rested on jinhyuk's chest.

"valentines day?" jinhyuk questioned, hands dropping down to hold wooseok's waist.

wooseok nodded, "and you know what that means?"

"what?" jinhyuk raised his eyebrow, seeing wooseok smile all happily.

"that means you spend the whole day with me!"

jinhyuk snorted, "i already am love. i was planning to go out and buy you some roses too since my dumbass forgot this morning after yuvin told us to come over to his place"

wooseok eyes sparkled, "as much as i love roses, i like you better and i say we spend the rest of the day inside!" his demanding omegan nature made jinhyuk chuckle.

"alright whatever you want" jinhyuk leaned down to nuzzle his nose on wooseok's scent glands, "i prefer your scent over anyones"

"lies" wooseok muttered, picking up his fork to continue eating.

jinhyuk backed away, a frown clear on his face, "what do you mean 'lies'?"

"that one time" wooseok mumbled with his mouth full of cake once again. he swallowed it down before continuing, "you told this other omega in kindergarten the same thing and he wasn't even as pretty as me!"

jinhyuk nearly burst out laughing, "babe that was a long time ago! that was probably before i met you! you can't be jealous of something that happened ten years ago!"

"i-i could be!" wooseok exclaimed, cupping his cheeks into his own hands, "it still stuck on me!"

jinhyuk continued to rest his chin on wooseok's neck, "you're beautiful love. prettier than any omega alive and i only have eyes for you now, okay?"

wooseok nodded, giggling at his lover's nose on his sensitive neck, "okayyyyy"

"i love you" jinhyuk used his finger to turn wooseok's face towards him, placing a delicate kiss on his pretty lips.
