The students of Kings Dominion sat around in either their bedrooms or random rooms they were forced into, waiting for the lockdown to be over and Master Lin allowing them to be able to leave their respected rooms freely. Most students here decided to just wait out the lockdown of which they laid down on the beds inside the room they were in, not wanting to risk being caught leaving the room, the consequences being deadly.
Marcus was one of the few, as he stood at the door, attempting to unlock the door with his flimsy ID card. Lilith and Viktor laid down on both beds in the room, shaking their heads at Marcus's eagerness to leave the room. Willie was standing beside Lilith, a bouquet of flowers in hand as he had made plans to see Gabrielle.
"It's jammed from the outside." Marcus said, taking a deep breath as he stopped jamming his ID in the door.
"Your gypsy street tricks will not work on lockdown gutter boy." Lilith snickered, looking at Viktor of whom was looking at Marcus as the boy turned himself away from the door.
"I told Gabriella I was on my way over." Willie announced, throwing his bag next to Lilith's head. "Now, she's going to think I stood her up."
"Why do you have flowers? Is girl dead?" Lilith scoffed, leaning her head up from the pillow, staring over at Viktor. "Did you over-correct her behaviour?"
"What? No! Step off Vlad." Willie hit back at the Russian, swatting his hand away.
"Seriously Viktor?" Lilith mumbled, the boy just shrugging his shoulders. Awaiting the boy to make another comment, Lilith watched as Viktor grunted to himself, quickly removing himself off the bed.
"Shabnam's bed is lumpy like him."
Lilith snickered when she realised something. Looking around the room, Lilith realised that in fact this was Marcus's and Shabnam's room, of which she was currently laying in Marcus's bed. Her mind began to wonder to the times when she and Marcus were together and would often spend time in his room whilst Shabnam was away, most of the time just cuddling, often leading to Marcus playing video games whilst Lilith fell asleep on his bed.
Pulling herself out of those thoughts, Lilith noticed Viktor examining Shabnam's bed, lifting his pillow to reveal magazines and a bottle of cream.
"Oh... is old proverb." Viktor chuckled to himself as Lilith leaned forward looking over at what exactly Viktor was holding. "To abuse one's horkum is to anger the Baba Yaga."
"I got to send a message to Saya." Marcus interrupted Viktor, stepping away from the door as he looked to the three students in his bedroom. "before her and Maria kill each other."
"I say let Saya kill Maria... it will be an interesting show." Viktor laughed, high fiving Lilith as she looked at Marcus, disappointment and disbelief covering his face at her words. Lilith heard the boy exhale deeply, before turning his body back towards the door, the sound of his fist banging the door ringing through Lilith's ears.
Having had enough of the banging, Lilith rolled onto her front, the smell of Maria's perfume off Marcus's pillow running up Lilith's nosed. She groaned as she lifted her head off the pillow, feeling a dip in the mattress beside her. The banging had stopped, instead being replaced with the sound of fiddling with a lock. Feeling a hand on her back made the girl tense, but upon feeling a flick, Lilith relaxed as she knew it was Willie's way of announcing to Lilith that it was him without her having to look up and see.
The friendship Lilith and Willie had, reminded her of her best friend back home in Cheshire, Ethan Parker. The two had met on the first day of nursery, at the grand age of five. Lilith and Ethan had become one another's rocks during their time at nursery and primary school, not wanting to allow anyone in on their adventures that consisted of the two playfighting in the garden of the Grey Manor.
Lilith sniffled, feeling a sense of guilt as well as sadness because of the abruptness of her departure, leaving Ethan to fend off for himself without his best friend, his rock. Luckily, Ethan and Lilith had allowed in Layla Michaels and Tom Daniels into their group, Lilith trying to imagine if the three reminded friends during her time here at Kings Dominion.
"If we're going to be stuck in here, you don't get to dictate the music." Lilith heard Willie say as the rubbing of his palm against her back stopped, his footsteps being heard as the music in the room stopped.
"Got to get with the times Arguello." Lilith smiled as she rolled onto her back, looking up to the ceiling as she saw Marcus fiddling with the door out the corner of her eye.
"Get with the times?" Marcus spoke up. "Doesn't that mean just copy what some other people decided we should like recently?" Willie scoffed.
"You hate the mainstream because everyone can enjoy it." Viktor said, throwing a crisp into his mouth.
"I guess that's how someone like you would boil it down." Marcus hit back, Lilith shaking her head at the defensiveness of Marcus, lifting herself up onto her elbows to properly look around the three boys. "Spoon fed art, film, and music... by whatever corporate facility decided you should have it."
Lilith saw Viktor shake his head, the rustling of his hand in the crisp packet filling the quietness of the room.
"You are just desperate for people to think you are unique." Lilith snorted, catching the attention of Marcus and Viktor, the girl throwing a thumbs up to Viktor, earning a roll of the eyes from Marcus.
"Nicely said Viktor... could not have said it better myself." Viktor smirked, knowing all too well that Lilith was trying to rile up Marcus with him.
"You're a vanilla person okay?" Lilith widened her heads, leaning her head back as she saw Marcus smile sarcastically in Viktor's direction. "So you go ahead and enjoy whatever vanilla shit you're served and told to ingest."
"Marcus." He looked at Lilith. "Watch it."
"You're boring." He mumbled. Lilith scoffed as she looked at Willie, of whom just rolled his eyes, shrugging his shoulders.
"Is Bon Jovi Vanilla?" Viktor scoffed.
"I have much more respect for you now Viktor." Lilith said, receiving a smile from the Russian before he looked at Marcus.
"Of course not."
"You're a narcissist." Lilith scratched her face as Willie spoke up, Lilith quickly becoming intrigued and excited as to where this whole discussion was going and what the outcome at the end will be.
"Because I have an opinion about music?" Marcus questioned, getting up from the floor.
"No... because nobody else gets to have one." Lilith nodded, agreeing with Willie as Marcus looked her way.
"You're just mad about before, that I'm more worried about this gang war brewing up than you scuffling with your new girlfriend."
"That's enough!" Lilith shouted, gaining all three boys' attentions, their eyes wide as her sudden outburst. Shouting was the only way to get their attentions, especially Marcus's as he always liked to believe that he is right, and everything revolves around him. Lilith had enough.
"Who gives a flying shit if Willie cares more about his girlfriend, of whom has a name Marcus! Gabrielle is clearly important to Willie and he can have other priorities than this whole gang shit happening. I don't care that your priority is fixing this gang shit, and you may need Saya to help you sort things out between her and Maria... but you need to remember Marcus who you have hurt during this time period of you being here. We were all doing fine without you here, and now you've wiggled us into all your problems, and I've had enough! It is not all about you and you need to realise that your opinions and beliefs, not everyone is going to agree or give a flying fuck about!"
Marcus slumped down against the wall, taking a big gulp after Lilith's outburst. Willie turned to Lilith, pulling her up from the bed, giving her a tight hug, the two looking at Marcus.
"See Marcus... Lilith's right." Marcus sighed, looking down to avoid all eye contact. "You take me to Vegas under false pretences, got me involved in a dangerous situation and then you lie about everything."
This isn't about you man." Marcus said, Lilith clenching her fists as she tried to contain her anger.
"When is it about me Marcus? When is it about someone else other than you? Do you not remember that you made everything about you in Vegas, when in fact you were hurting Lilith all the way through!" Lilith stiffened up as Marcus looked into her eyes as Willie pulled her and him down onto the bed.
"You broke her heart Marcus! Just because you couldn't keep it in your pants!"
Lilith felt her eyes begin to tear up, scratching her neck as she smiled at how Willie was standing her corner. Lilith saw Marcus open his mouth before clamping it shut again as he looked at Lilith, her not determining what he was thinking right now.
"You need to realise Marcus... that you've hurt a lot of people during your time here." Willie said.
"And it's time you realised... properly."
