"So you're telling me... that you're all bloody alive? And none of you could bother to tell me!" Lilith shouted as she paced around the room.

Uncle Sam had taken her seat, sitting himself next to Billy as the four watched her pace.

"Lilith we couldn't!"

"Yes because of Jason. I know." Lilith mumbled as stood still, her head in her hand.

"I was in bits. When you sent me to Kings Dominion, i was told you were dead. Alongside Auntie Gina." Sam winced at her words.

Alec and Tiana looked at their uncle, waiting for his response. Lilith noticed the change of atmosphere in the air as she looked at her uncle.

"Oh my god... is Auntie-"

"Lilith..."

Lilith walked over to her uncle, pulling his arm making the man stand up before she pulled him into a hug.

Billy watched the two family members hug, Tiana and Alec also watching them.

"Okay enough of that. Gina would be throwing us to the floor if she saw us being this affectionate and emotional." Lilith laughed as she pulled herself out of her Uncle's arms.

"Yeah she hated the emotional and affectionate side of things."

"Yes but she still loved you guys dearly." Uncle Sam said as he looked at his nieces and nephew.

"Whose this?" Billy felt heat rush to his cheeks as the attention was brought onto him. "Is he your boyfriend?"

Lilith and Billy bursted out laughing.

"What's so funny?" Uncle Sam questioned as he grew confused. Alec began to chuckle as he looked at his uncle.

"Far from it Sam." Alec said.

"Best friends would be the correct term." Lilith answered his question as she walked over to Billy, lazily swinging her arm around his shoulder as he leaned down.

"Oh... sorry." Sam scratched his neck, embarrassed. "How's is school though Lilith?"

She nodded her head as she pulled herself a chair, sitting next to Billy, Uncle Sam sitting back down in his seat.

"It's good. Oh... you guys would have been so proud of us." Lilith pointed to her uncle and her siblings, their eyebrows knitting together.

"It was the legacy ball not too long ago-"

"Legacy hazing."

"That is right Aleca." Alec rolled his eyes at his nickname.

"Wait... legacy hazing is still a thing?" Sam interjected. Billy nodded as he pointed at himself.

"Yeah... and a rat like me, experienced it first hand." Tiana smiled sympathetically at Billy.

"I couldn't have that. All my friends are... rats." Tiana nodded her head again, this time at Lilith.

"So were mine. I hate the cockiness that surrounds the 'legacies'."

"Oh trust me, they've gotten worse." Billy spoke up as Tiana shook her head.

"Please tell me you guys did your own version of legacy hazing upon them?"

Lilith and Billy looked at each other, before smirking to her family.

"You're evil." Uncle Sam chuckled as he leaned over, high fiving his niece.

"What can I say? I hate bullies."

Sitting up at the graveyard, Marcus waited for Lilith to come and meet him. It was the late hours of the night, as he wanted to make amends with the girl. He had managed to make an acceptable excuse to not spend the night with Maria, she wasn't impressed, but amending his friendship with Lilith was more important.

"Fancy seeing you here." Marcus looked up to see Lilith walking towards him, a smile plastered on her face.

"You look happy."

"Yeah I am."

Marcus patted the wall next to him, Lilith quickly sitting herself down next to the boy.

"How was your day out with Billy." Marcus asked as he looked up to Lilith. He watched as her smile grew larger as she clapped her hands together.

"Oh, it was amazing. Billy took me to see my family."

"Alec?"

"Not just Alec, turns out not only is he alive. My sister and uncle are alive." Marcus's eyes grew wide as he smiled at the happiness spread across her face. A look he had not seen in a while.

"Well that's great Lilith."

"Thanks Marcus." She looked up at the boy. The two continued to look at one another.

"Anyway." Lilith coughed, looking away from the boy. "What did you want to talk about?"

"Us."

"Us?" Lilith repeated. "What about us?"

Marcus rolled his eyes at the girl, as Lilith glared at him.

"Now don't go rolling your eyes at me Arguello, I'll make sure your eyes get stuck at the back of your head." Marcus smirked as he leaned towards Lilith. Lilith's immediate reaction made her lean away from the boy, as she nervously coughed.

"Marcus. Just get on with it please." Lilith said, Marcus leaning away. He sighed as he looked down at his hands.

"I've been thinking about yo-"

"Don't you dare finish that sentence Marcus. This is not fair on Maria and you know that."

Marcus watched as Lilith jumped up from the wall, leaving Marcus.

"Lilith!"

Lilith sighed as she turned her head to see Marcus looking at her, his eyes widened.

"Please. Just give me one second."

Lilith sighed before turning around, once again facing Marcus. She nodded to the boy as she sat herself back down next to him. She gave him a faint smile, of which Marcus quickly returned.

"What's on your mind then Arguello?"

"Like I said, us."

"I know I heard you the first time." Lilith messed with her hair, as she looked at Marcus. Marcus looked up at the girl, admiring her facial features as he shook his head.

"Look Lilith, I'm sorry for hurting you back in Vegas." Lilith nodded as she looked down at her hands, stopping herself from showing any vulnerability. "I'm sorry for upsetting you."

"I sense a but coming." Lilith mumbled as she looked back up, looking directly into Marcus's eyes.

"But I want to see how my relationship goes with Maria."

Lilith felt her heart shatter, she already knew he had chosen Maria over herself. But hearing Marcus saying those words, made it all too real for Lilith. Lilith nodded as she leaned over, patting Marcus on the shoulder.

"Good chat Marcus. I'm glad you've been honest with yourself, thank you."

And with that, Lilith darted up from the wall, walking so quickly away from Marcus to stop him from seeing her begin to tear up. As she opened the door to the stairs, Lilith took a deep breath.

"Well at least he was honest and straight up about it." Lilith rubbed her eyes as she walked down the stairs.

"I need sleep... and food."

Marcus watched as the girl walked away, him already regretting his words. He shook his head as he got up himself, making his way back to his room. As he walked through the corridors of King's Dominion, Marcus began to think of the time where he had first seen Lilith, and how she and Saya handled the cops that had cornered them.

"Stop Marcus." He muttered to himself as she smacked his head. He needed to stop thinking about Lilith, he was with Maria now. Maria was his girlfriend. Not Lilith.

It was the first day of the new week. Lilith was stood next to Saya, as they looked upon Master Zane and Miss De Luca. Lilith could feel someone's stare upon her as she leaned forward to see Marcus looking at Saya.

"Hey, he's staring."

"Well he can stare all he wants; he wouldn't be standing here if I let his girlfriend shoot him and myself with an arrow." Saya snarled as Lilith nodded her head. Once Lilith had stopped Saya from crying as much that night, she revealed what had happened when she spoke with Marcus. Maria had shot an arrow to the two who were talking to one another, luckily with Saya's fast reactions, neither were hurt. Turns out Maria was doing it as an experiment to see if Saya would protect Marcus, of which she did by not allowing the arrow to hit him.

"Gouging was invented in the eighteenth century south." Lilith's attention was brought back to the lesson. "It's known for it's emphasis on maximum disfigurement." Master Zane continued.

"I dig it cause it's a way for poor people, to protect their honour. Now..." Master Zane cleared his throat as he looked over to Miss De Luca.

"Miss... uh... Neocon eighty-seven here... she likes anything that turns the clock back to the good old days." He faced himself to the women. "of indentured servant and dysentery."

Miss De Luca smirked as she looked forward to the class, catching Lilith's eye as the girl smiled at her teacher.

"While Master Zane would prefer a land of liberal lawlessness, where prostitutes sell schoolchildren crack cocaine." Lilith smiled as she felt someone's eyes on her once again.

Leaning forward, she saw Marcus looking over, at her this time. She shook her head as she tilted her head to the two teachers, making the boy focus his attention back to the front of the room.

"Today we will be practicing basic nose biting, testicle ripping and eye popping." Lilith watched as Master Zane smirked and nodded at Miss De Luca's words, as he hummed in response, looking all too impressed with himself.

"Master Zane." Lilith jerked her head to the door to see Brandy standing behind Master Gao. Lilith rolled her eyes at the sight of the women, her disgust for her shining through.

When Lilith was with Alec, she was told that Master Gao intervened with Master Zane's lesson, discussing that Brandy should be getting top marks, unlike Saya, of whom she wanted the girl to fail for her tactics.

Lilith hates anyone who thinks they're better than anyone else, let alone thinking they rule the place. This making Master Gao at the top of her hatred list, just below her brother.

"You still haven't changed Brandy's grade."

"Wasn't I clear lady?" Lilith internally cheered as Master Zane stood up for himself, Lilith watching as Master Gao stood only inches away from her teacher.

"I ain't gonna do the thing you asked me to do-"

Master Zane couldn't finish his sentence thanks to Master Gao, as she gripped hold of his arm. Lilith's eyes widened as she saw Master Zane grow annoyed as he looked down at the women's hand gripped around his arm.

"Sweet pickles, you've got three seconds to put that hand somewhere that ain't me." Master Zane whispered as Lilith looked at Brandy, a huge smirk plastered on her face.

"You know..." Lilith whispered to Saya, "I would happily wipe that smirk of that hill-billy's face." Saya snickered, as she coughed to cover up her laughter.

"Do it." Saya said, as Lilith nodded her head.

Lilith was about to make her way over to Brandy, when she heard a low grunt. Looking forward, it revealed Master Zane getting punched by Master Gao, him quickly falling to the floor by the women's fighting abilities.

"Hey Brandy." Lilith grunted at the girl, making her turn around.

"Uh... I was." Master Zane spoke up as Lilith watched him swing for Master Gao. Him being unsuccessful as he began to fight momentarily with the women.

"Why you such a bitch?" Lilith quietly asked the girl as she grabbed a strand of Brandy's hair, pulling her backwards. "Don't make a sound." Brandy fidgeted as she pulled herself forward but was unsuccessful. The sound of slight whimpers left Brandy's mouth as Lilith pulled her hair, bringing the girl even closer to her.

Lilith began to whisper to the girl, until she saw Master Zane held by his neck, Master Gao looking directly at Lilith and Brandy. Lilith smirked at the women as she let go off Brandy's hair.

"What grade do you feel you've earned?" Master Gao asked Brandy. "Make sure Master Zane can't forget it. Lilith watched as Brandy smirked at her, before walking towards Master Zane as she pulled out a small knife from her pompom.

Saya's eyes widened as she nudged Lilith's arm, the two focusing their attention on Brandy as she carved 'A' onto Master Zane's forehead.

"What a bitch." Lilith mumbled as she crossed her arms.

"Give me an A" Brandy shook her pompoms as Lilith groaned.

"How about a fuck off!" The class snickered as Lilith shouted, earning a glare from both Brandy and Master Gao. Miss De Luca should sense something going drastically wrong to Lilith, as she quickly dismissed the class, not allowing Master Gao to react to the girl.

"Nicely said Lilith." Miss De Luca mouthed to Lilith, giving the girl a subtle thumbs up as she walked behind the girl with a groaning Master Zane, of whom was holding his newly carved forehead, leaving Master Gao and Brandy in the room.

"Thanks Miss... was hoping to do more though."

"There's always a next time don't you worry." Miss De Luca winked at the girl as she helped Master Zane down an opposite corridor to Lilith.

"And this is why... Miss De Luca is my favourite teacher." Lilith stated, earning a nod from the Saya as the two made their way to the canteen.
