BEING IN HIS PSYCHOTIC BROTHERS PRESENCE HAD FINALLY GOTTEN ALEC TO REACH BREAKING POINT. but not a breaking point to which he would crack and spiral, but more of a case of getting angry.

and seeing a grey sibling angry? was never a good sight, not with any of them.

alec had been separated from lex and marcus, from what the oldest grey sibling had heard was that the two ex king dominion students had been moved to a new area- whether that was in the same warehouse or a different one, he did not know. all he did know was that he was alone with jason.

and that was all alec needed to know.

"hey idiot." alec shouted to the man whom had a smaller frame compared to alec standing next to the door, grabbing his attention. "get my dickhead of a brother for me would you."

no movement occurred with the man standing across the room from alec, this making the eldest grey sigh before he leaned back against the wall, relaxing his body.

"that wasn't a request." alec snarled, the narrowing of his eyes putting the man on edge, before he left to go grab jason.

"huh amateur." alec said with a laugh, shaking his head whilst he sat alone in the dim room, the light hanging above him might as well not be turned on- due to it not making a huge difference in the lightness of the room he was situated in.

it wasn't long for jason to appear in alec's eye line, a smile appearing on his face as his brother walked over.

"what do you want alec?"

"i just wanted to see your gorgeous face." alec said with a sarcastic tone, a smug look displayed on his face as he relaxed his arms against the wall he was sat against.

"don't try and act all smart." jason snarled, kneeling down so his eyes was level with his brothers- of whom did not look phased by jason's actions.

"I don't need to try." alec said with a shrug. a smile still prominent on his face, until a sharp pain inflicted on his cheek took the smile right off. jason held a strong look on his face as alec hung his head down, but a sense of confusion ran through jason when he heard laughing from his brother in front of him.

"lilith was right, you do hit like a girl."

before jason could retaliate further, one of the members of his group appeared at the door, announcing to the brother of alec that someone had breached the alarms at one of the warehouses and they needed to get there to investigate.

"oh look alec- you might be having a family reunion sooner than you thought." jason said with a smile, him giving alec a wave before disappearing out of the room, leaving alec once again alone.

"i hope for your sake it isn't tia or lili jason!" alec shouted, a faint laughing behind heard from outside the room, alec assuming what he had said was seen to be amusing to jason.

"tom anything new?" lilith whispered, there still no sight of any of jason's men in this warehouse, this making lilith think this warehouse was a dud- it just being one of the distractions for her and the group to find.

"tom?"

there was no noise coming through her earpiece, bringing lilith to a stop. panic flooded her veins, her heart rate increasing so much she could feel it pulsing against her chest, the feeling almost making her feel uneasy.

bringing her back to the wall, lilith took a break from investigating the warehouse so she could try and talk to her friend, making sure he was safe back in the office at the front of the warehouse.

she still had no response from her brunette friend, lilith's eyes scanning around the corridor. as a reflex, lilith grabbed ahold of the knife that was attached to her leg, holding a tight grip on it, making her prepared for any unannounced visitors.

"search every corner. she must be here."

lilith sighed, her head peering around the corner to see a few of what looked like jason's men appearing in the centre room, lilith looking from one of the corridors that branched out of the concrete filled room.

"oh tom. you best have gotten yourself out of here." lilith mumbled, fear was now running through her veins in addition to the panic, as there was still no answer from tom.

"sir. we have two knocked out in the other room." lilith switched sides of the archway, allowing her to see who the men were calling 'sir', the brunette girl wanting to see if her theory was correct.

and it was.

as there stood her brother, looking down at the ground, lilith immediately mentally slapping herself across the face. when having walked through the room earlier. one of lilith's arrows had fallen out of her quiver on her back, the girl not knowing until she had stepped on it.

and that was what jason had found.

"get back to my brother. make sure my sister gets no where near there."

"oh jason. tut tut. you just gave yourself away you idiot." lilith whispered, leaning away from the archway. she tiptoed down the corridor, walking down the outside rooms of the warehouse so she could make her way over to where jason's men had walked to, them hopefully bringing her to her brother.

"lili-"

"tom! you okay?" lilith shouted in a form of a whisper, a sense of relief now being felt as tom's voice was heard through her earpiece.

"lili you need to get out of here-" tom's voice was almost in a shaken tone, one that lilith had never seen or heard from her best friend. this bringing fear to crawl back into her thoughts once more.

"not important right now tom- are you okay? you need to get out of here. there's way too many. and jason's here- so you need to get out of here." lilith commented, making sure to keep her voice down to avoid herself getting detected by any of jason's men, or even her brother himself.

"no lil-"

"-no buts thomas. you best get your arse out of this warehouse and get back to the car- be ready for a quick escape."

she heard a deep sigh come from her earpiece- this told lilith that tom was going to do what she had asked of him to do- even if he did not actually want to.

"fine. be careful- don't do anything stupid."

"oh come on tom. it's me. everything i do is stupid." tom let out a faint laugh, it bringing a smile onto lilith's face, the two teenagers quickly saying goodbye before lilith was met with silence once again.

"right alec. i'm coming for you." lilith muttered, continuing on with her walk done the corridors now that she had finished speaking with tom. it wasn't long till she saw a group of four men standing around a door, almost making it too obvious that there was something behind that door.

pulling an arrow from her quiver, lilith placed her knife back in his holder around her leg, allowing her to grab her bow in her now free hand. thinking about it, many executions of taking care of these men stood metres away from her.

it was then she decided not on using her bow and arrow, but instead one of her creations that situated in her pockets situated down her trousers. a smoke bomb.

"that shouldn't give the element of surprise i guess." lilith thought, placing the arrow she held in her right hand in between her legs, allowing her to grab one of the small, circular smoke bombs she had made nights before back in the grey mansion, more specifically in her mother's old lab.

small and quiet footsteps were made before coughing was heard before lilith. the air becoming thick, reducing the vision of the four men stood in the centre of the smoke.

"surprise fella's." lilith whispered to the one closest to her, stabbing an arrow into his shoulder, a grunt being heard as he held onto it. it didn't take long for lilith to get to work with the men, her knife now held in her hand, a fight breaking out between the two men that were stood closest to one her, as they had noticed her presence.

the four men did surprisingly hold up a good fight, but it didn't take long for lilith to have them all on the floor in the hallway, or some were kicked into the room that they had been standing in front of.

the contact of hitting the floor had made the four grow unconscious, this not helping lilith as she dragged the last two into the room, their bodies having grown limp, their weight just having increased. she struggled, but thankfully she did get them into the room without having met contact with anyone else.

"now that was an entrance and a half."

lilith sighed, her hand clasping her chest as she closed the door, leaning one of the unconscious men against it, almost acting as a barrier so no one could get in.

"what are you doing on the floor brother? you are slacking alec."

"i hate you sometimes lili."

"no you don't." lilith said with a smile, alec putting on a small smile before nodding his head to tell his sister to come over to his aid. so she did just that. lilith was now kneeled down in front of her brother, tending to the rope ties that kept his hands behind his back.

"where's lex?" lilith asked, alec taken aback that she had not mentioned marcus in that question. but he knew that she meant both of them- well he hoped she did anyway.

"him and marcus got moved somewhere else- to another warehouse." lilith nodded her head, helping her brother up from the floor when she had released him from being held captive.

"well let's hope the others find him, now come on- let's get you out of here."

"thank you lili."

"don't thank me yet- we need to make sure we miss our brother first."
