The sun was beginning to rise, its bright rays shining through Lilith's window, waking her up. Looking down to her alarm clock, it was the only hours of morning, the clock just passing six.

Four hours.

Four hours until the comic shop had to be opened by Marcus, making sure no one else besides the group find the shop full of dangerous and deadly explosives.

Not being able to go back to bed, Lilith began to sit herself up when she looked down at her waist to see two hands wrapped firmly around her. Lilith grew alarmed, turning her head to become relieved at the fact both her and Marcus still had their clothes on.

Having too many drinks with Cactus Jack at the bar before dancing with Billy had hugely impacted Lilith in this moment, her head feeling all sort of pains.

The three things Lilith could remember from last night was spotting Saya and Marcus kissing, having a go at Marcus, and then telling him to sleep in her room.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Lilith mumbled to herself, carefully taking Marcus's hands off her waist, pulling one of her pillows off the floor, replacing her waist with the pillows, Marcus's harms instantly tightening around the pillow.

"There's nothing wrong with you."

Lilith turned around, her legs dangling over the side of her bed to see Marcus's eyes wide open, staring at her.

"You really think i don't know the difference between you and a pillow?" Lilith laughed as Marcus places the pillow back to its original place, grabbing her arm, pulling her back down, the two laying beside one another.

"Relax Lilith we only slept in the same bed." Marcus mumbled into his hand as he yawned.

"I know... but still you were kissing Saya last night."

"And now I'm herewith you." Lilith scoffed.

"Manwhore."

Marcus sighed, knowing the comment Lilith had just made was in fact a true statement. The boy had been playing with all three of the girls feelings in the space of a twelve hours. Kissing Maria, then kissing Saya after the concert. If Lilith hadn't have spotted the two kissing, Marcus knew he wouldn't have been with Lilith right now, instead he may have been with Saya, regretting his decisions of taking it further than just a kiss.

But here he was, regretting the decision to kiss Saya, not feeling guilty to Maria as much, but more to Lilith.

"I can see the clogs spinning in that brain of yours." Lilith said, bringing Marcus out of this thoughts to see the girl smiling at him.

"I'm just thinking."

"You thinking?" Marcus nodded. "Well now I'm getting worried... wouldn't want you to hurt yourself." Lilith teased, receiving a shove from Marcus, making the girl gasp.

"Truce! truce!" Marcus shouted, raising his hands in surrender once he noticed Lilith raising her clenched fist up from the bed. Lilith smirked, laughing at the boy's reaction to her, making her unclench her hand quickly after.

"What time is it?"

"It's just gone past six."

"So that means-"

"You have four hours until we have to open the comic store." Marcus nodded his head at Lilith interrupting him. The two sat in silence next to each other, it wasn't an awkward but instead a comfortable silence.

"So feeling hungover Marcus?" Lilith asked the boy, getting herself up from her bed, walking over to sink, filling up one of the glasses next to the tap with water.

"Guess you could say that." Marcus mumbled, his fingers pinching the bridge of his nose, making Lilith snort as she walked over, handing the boy the glass of water.

"Paracetamol's in the drawer or whatever you Americans call it." Marcus rolled his eyes, sitting himself up, his eyes trailing over to Lilith whom was now sitting at her desk.

Leaning over, Marcus placed the glass on top of Lilith's bedside cabinet, opening the drawer, only to find multiple boxes of pills.

"Uh Lilith."

Lilith hummed, spinning herself round to look at Marcus, her eyes widening.

"Shit." Lilith mumbled, Marcus's eyes meeting her own as he removed his hand from the drawer. "I just had trouble sleeping, that's why there's so many pills in there."

"Insomnia?" Lilith nodded, not wanting to admit to Marcus that the tablets were in fact for her blackouts, helping to control her anger she feels, not wanting to repeat history with the murder spree she had occurred during her last big blackout.

"I found them." Lilith nodded as Marcus picked up the box of paracetamol, the girl watching Marcus close the drawer before spinning back round to focus her attention back to the book on her desk.

"What you doing?"

"Just reading." Lilith said, her hand trailing over the words, so engrossed she didn't hear Marcus leave her bed, until she felt his hands on her shoulders, giving them a gentle squeeze.

"Marcus." He hummed. "What you doing?" Lilith said, growing tense at his touch as she turned the page, trying to focus her attention on the typed words on the page.

"Nothing... what are you actually reading?" Lilith turned her head, looking at Marcus as he looked down at her, intrigued by the girl.

"Wouldn't you like to know." Lilith said, closing the book shut, immediately placing it in the top drawer of the desk, making Marcus groan.

"Well... considering we have four hours to kill... fancy having a chat?"

"Isn't that what we're having right now?"

"I'm serious Lilith."

"Oh no... Marcus thinking and now he's being serious, are you sick?" Lilith asked, lifting her hand to Marcus's forehead, Marcus just rolling his eyes. "Well you're not hot."

"I'm not?" Marcus asked, Lilith shaking her head, dropping her hand down from his forehead.

"No Marcus... Now what do you want to talk about?" Lilith pointed to her bed, indicating for Marcus to take a seat, of which he did, Lilith rolling the chair closer to him.

"I just want to say I'm going to break up with Maria."

"Okay and?" Lilith said, confused as to where this conversation was going. "You going to pursue Saya?"

"Lilith..."

"What I was being serious." Lilith said, ignoring the hard glare she was receiving from the boy sitting opposite her.

"More like you." Lilith scoffed.

"Tell me that once you've actually had the balls to dump Maria and tell Saya that you don't like her like that." Lilith said, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked at the boy, his eyes rolling as he shook his head.

"I'm being serious Marcus. Don't try and say stuff like this unless you're actually going to fall through with the plan." Marcus nodded, Lilith noticing his adam Apple moving up and down.

"Now... sorry to be a Debby downer, but I'm going to cut this conversation short."

"What why?" Marcus said, watching Lilith get up from her chair, picking up her book she was ready, holding it tight in her hand as she walked over to the door.

"Because I have to make preparations for today." Marcus was about to question the girl further when Lilith left her room, quietly closing the door behind her to prevent waking up the students sleeping around her.

*********

The smell of chemicals flooded Master Lin's nose as he peeked his head through the laboratory door. He smiled to see Lilith working at her desk, eyes travelling from the book in her hand at the glass vials hanging above her.

"Everything okay Lilith?"

Lilith jumped, not ready for anyone to come and talk to her this early in the morning, and especially in the laboratory.

"I'm sorry for giving you a fright." Lilith shook her head, ushering the headmaster to come further into the room, to which he did.

"It's okay Lin... now that your here, can you make sure this is right?" Master Lin nodded his head, making his way over to Lilith's desk, the smell of chemicals becoming overwhelming for the older man.

"How are you not overwhelmed with the chemicals." Lilith shrugged her shoulders, her senses having gotten use to the smell and intensity of the chemicals that surrounded her in the smaller room.

"Now... what are you getting up to?" Master Lin asked the girl, his head leaning into the glass vials, examining the fluids boiling up in the tubes.

"Just experimenting... thinking of being creative if i ever come across Jason." Lilith said, half lying, half telling the truth. Lilith was in fact experimenting with chemicals, wanting to make unique explosives, not just for using against Jason, but against Chester later on tonight.

"Just make sure you don't blow anything up here." Lilith nodded, her and Master Lin smiling at one another. "Have you thought anymore on what I suggested last night?"

"Not really... but i think by the end of today I'll have an answer for you." Master Lin rose an eyebrow before nodding his head in agreement to the girl focusing her attention back onto the book in her hand.

"Let me guess... your mothers book?"

"She was the best at explosives and poison making." Master Lin nodded his head, tilting his head to look at the page Lilith was fixated on.

"She was indeed." Lilith looked up from the book, smiling at her headmaster, leaning the book in his direction.

"Have a look." Lilith said, dropping her hands on her lap as Master Lin took the book out of her hand, his eyes scanning the page.

"Your mother was my go to for anything explosive or poisonous."

"Really?" Master Lin nodded, placing the book onto the table as he looked into the glass vial once more.

"I must be heading back... I'm meeting your uncle later."

"Uncle Sam?" Master Lin nodded, getting up from his seat. "Why?"

"Well he wants to discuss you leaving San Francisco by atleast the end of the week." Lilith sighed, nodding her head at Master Lin, watching her headmaster make his way towards the exit.

"Well I assure you, you will have your answer by the end of today." Lilith started, giving Master Lin a thumbs up, him smiling in return.

"Good... well i will leave you to your explosives. Don't have too much fun." Master Lin said, smiling at the student, quickly disappearing down the hall.

"Can't make any promises!" Lilith shouted, hearing a faint laugh from Master Lin, of which was rare for the headmaster.
