"PSST LILI." the sleeping girl groaned as she felt someone shaking her arm. not wanting to give up her sleep yet, lilith groaned turned her body away from where the person was shaking her.

"lilith you did not just turn your back to me."  lilith heard the person say, the slowly beginning to wake girl smiling as she snuggled her head more into her pillow as the shaking of her arm started again.

"lilith adelaide grey you turn your arse around."

lilith sighed, opening her eyes before turning around to see the light from the sunrise coming through her window appearing on her sisters face.

"what do you want? i was happily sleeping." lilith groaned as she sat herself up, resting her back against her headboard. she watched as her sister sat herself down next to lilith on her bed, joining her on resting her own back against the headboard.

"i have a proposition for you." tiana spoke out, lilith tilting her head towards her sister to whom was looking straight forward, looking like she was focusing her eyes on the wall on the other side of her room.

"what is it?"

"how would you feel on going on a mission of our own?" lilith leaned forward, that grabbing tiana's attention, the older sister looking at lilith- but still holding a blank expression on her face.

"what kind of mission?"

"a rescue mission." tiana answered quickly, the two sisters keeping eye contact.

"resc-rescue mission? wait- do you think tha-"

"yes. yes i do- i think something's gone wrong, and uncle sam isn't telling us something." lilith looked at tiana, the younger grey furrowing her eyebrows at her sister.

"what makes you think that?" lilith asked her sister as she got up from her bed, walking over to open her curtains to allow the sunshine into her room as she was now fully awake.

it had been a week since the boys left for the mission and normally that wouldn't worry lilith as most of the missions she had done would often last over a week or even two.

"i overheard sam talking to gared- you know his best pal or whatever he likes to call him, his partner is crime or fuck knows." lilith laughed at tiana's words before nodding her head, telling her sister that she knew what was she was getting at. "-but yeah anyway, i heard him talking about the boys' mission and that he had received news."

"what news was that?" tiana shrugged as she watched lilith look through her drawers, picking out an outfit for today.

"i don't know- he started to whisper it and then we he noticed i was near, him and gared went into his office." tiana responded, lilith narrowing her eyes at her sister of whom nodded her head at the question of 'really?' that lilith was thinking of in her head.

"you don't understand how much i want to go walk into his room and slap him awake to find out the truth- if he's putting our brother in danger and lex i will not be happy with him."

"what about marcus?"

"what about him?"

"oh lili" tiana said with a sigh as lilith walked into her bathroom, closing the door slightly so she could get changed whilst still being able to talk to tiana. "you can show you care about him you know- you've done it before."

"i know- but fine, okay if he's put marcus in danger then yeah i will flip my shit on our fucking uncle." lilith shouted from the bathroom, tiana nodding her head in agreement to her sisters words.

"but that's the thing lili." tiana spoke as lilith walked out of the bathroom, having gotten changed and thrown her pajamas to lilith so she could place them on her pillow, placing her other clothes in her washing basket.

"he can't know." the two sisters said together in unison, lilith clicking her fingers at tiana before going back into her bathroom to brush her teeth.

"yeah he can't know- he will flip his shit. but as you said, if he's put our brother in danger then he needs to fucking understand we won't take that." tiana watched lilith nod her head giving the girl a thumbs up as she brushed her teeth.

after allowing lilith to sort herself out, tiana told her younger sister that if they were going to do this then they would need to leave soon otherwise they would be spotted by uncle sam. it was currently half past four, and the girls knew that uncle sam often liked to be up around five in the morning to practice fighting with gared.

gared had been apart of the family circle, him and uncle sam having gotten closer since the death of uncle sam's wife, gina a few years back. for some unknown reason, lilith nor did any tiana get along with gared, the two girls finding the man very unusual and often suspicious.

and the grey girls were never ones to ignore their immediate impressions on someone.

so when lilith had seen gared practically looking like he owned the place upon her and the king dominion students arrival the grey manor four years ago, it rubbed lilith the wrong way. so every chance she got, she would make it clear to the man that she did not like him, nor did she trust him- that being evident as she made it clear to her uncle and to gared that he was not welcome in any of the meetings, even the meetings that wasn't just for they four members of the grey family, any meeting that was going on- lilith would make it her mission for him to not attend them.

lilith and tiana were currently walking down the corridor towards the entrance hall of the grey manor, the two luckily having not come across anyone as there was usually someone walking around. recently, both saya and willie had been walking around the manor, the two having not been able to sleep- of which would often them coming to lilith's room, as the girl not being able to sleep long enough hours ever since the boys had gone on their mission.

"lili?"

the two girls froze at the sound of the younger sisters name, but as soon as the two turned around- relief flushed through them.

"fucking hell willie give the girl a heart attack." lilith whispered, willie letting out a low laugh as he rubbed his eyes- him being half asleep.

"not been able to sleep again?" lilith sighed as willie nodded his head to the girl, making his way over to the grey siblings.

"where are you two going anyway?" willie asked as his finger pointed to the two girls in clothes other than joggers.

"we're going out."

"nowhere."

lilith looked at her sister, tiana widening her eyes at lilith, the two mentally arguing with one another. willie watched as the two kept lifting their eyebrows to one another, him wanting to laugh at it actually looking like the two were having a argument through their minds.

"if anyone asks- i haven't seen you two okay?" lilith smiled as willie spoke out, tiana leaning forward to give the boy a high five when she stopped.

"are you really going to leave me hanging tia?"

"-wait. actually, willie you want to come with us?" lilith scoffed, flicking her sisters head as her initial thought was that her and tiana were going to bring willie along with them.

"where?" willie asked the older sister of lilith, the girl giving the boy a wink as she began to walk away from lilith and willie.

"a secret mission willie- you two meet me downstairs in five, i'll be back with saya." tiana waved at the two teenagers before walking away down the opposite corridor to where saya's bedroom was situated. willie looked at lilith, the girl smiling as she grabbed his hand, pulling him in the direction of the weaponry.

"um lili- i'm not dressed properly." lilith looked up to willie, seeing he was in fact in joggers and a hoodie, lilith let go off his hand, her finger pointing to the room where she was about to walk into.

"fine- you go get yourself sorted, meet me back down here and don't let fucking sam see you, if you do just pretend you've come back from my room 'cause you haven't been able to sleep okay? he can't know what we are doing." lilith instructed, willie nodding his head as he began to walk back towards his bedroom when he stopped, turning around to lilith again.

"what exactly are we doing?"

"like tiana said- a secret mission."

"well well- look what we have here."

marcus felt a sharp pain through his head as he went to touch his head when he felt restraints. he struggled to open his left eye, but the right opened perfectly to show him in a dark room- one that was not familiar to him.

he looked down to see his hands not infront of him, but in fact tied behind him, his back resting on a pillar.

alarmed, marcus began to fidget to only quickly stop when he felt a burning sensation against his wrists from what he assumed was due to the rope tied around his wrists.

"moving around isn't going to help you mate." a person spoke, an accent marcus had gotten used to hearing since having moved to cheshire. he glanced up to see a figure standing at the door. not wanting to look at him, marcus remembered to think of the stuff lilith had taught him in training when she was discussing what to do if he was ever to get into a hostage situation.

around him was just grey. concrete walls, no windows and the smell of blood reeked through marcus's senses, the strongness of the smell bringing marcus back to the thoughts of the many fights he had gotten himself into back in san francisco.

"oh lex my boy! you're awake now too." the mention of his friends name brought marcus's attention to the otherside of the room where lex was sat, in the same position as marcus.

from what marcus could feel from the pain on his face, he and lex shared similar wounds to their facial features. from where marcus was sat, lex too had a swollen closed eye, the other one opening perfectly.

"fuck you." lex muttered, spitting out the blood that had accumulated in his mouth out onto the floor beside him. the sound of the figure tutting in response to lex's action brought marcus's eyes to meet the figure's once again. the man walked into the room, that making it more clear to marcus who it was that was talking to them.

marcus looked around to see alec sat in the other corner of the room, him too in similar looking conditions as marcus and lex.

"wakey wakey alec, you'll miss the show otherwise." a slap to alec's face brought the boys attention onto the man, alec immediate reaction was to snarl and spit on the boys face.

"wow- that is no way to treat your brother."
