LOUD MOVEMENTS WERE HEARD OUTSIDE OF THE DARK ROOM WAS ASLEEP IN, THE NOISE BEING SO LOUD IT STIRRED HIM AWAKE. he was still met with the darkness of the room around him, this time it being different to the room he had been in before with lex and alec, as jason had split the three up, to which marcus assumed they were in different warehouses across cheshire.

as that was what he had heard jason discussing with his crew when he had thought he had successfully knocked marcus out, when in fact the boy had just closed his eyes- tricking the brother of lilith instead.

by hearing the loud movements outside, marcus could distinguish from some of the voices that someone had entered the warehouse, and they needed to bring their fullest attention onto the matters at hand. so that means some of them headed to where the intrusion occurred, whilst the others were situated outside marcus's room, as they were being fairly loud when discussing their plan outside his door.

one thing marcus did know for certain that must have had a few broken bones- jason loved to kick and punch as much as he could on the boy. soreness was felt all over marcus's body- which made him slightly worry as if was to have to run out of his incase someone came and got him, it might not end well for him.

leaning back against the wall he had been tied up to, his hands around the wooden post to his left, marcus just sighed. he knew that lilith and her family, as well as his friends, would come and get him, lex and alec, as they were all one massive family. but he didn't know when.

he knew lilith would do everything in her power to get him and lex and her brother back immediately, as each of them meant something to lilith. of course alec was her brother, so that was he meant to her- he was her family, her blood family. lex too was her family, but he became her non blood family, him having been there for her not only during kings dominion, but also afterwards. at one point, marcus thought that something was going on between lex and lilith, the two having gotten more close than ever before they had their mission.

but marcus had decided whilst he was here that he hoped that wasn't the case. having had time to think about it all whilst he was being help captive, made marcus fully confirm his thoughts he had accumulated.

he liked lilith.

hell he might even love her.

having spent the last few years here in england with her family, it helped the two of them get their friendship back on track, considering all that happened in kings dominion, and marcus could not be more thankful to say that him and lilith were on the best terms they could have been in, friends wise.

sure they may just be close friends, who may have gotten close that one time at her birthday party, marcus could not help but still admire the girl he met back those years ago in san francisco. the girl who stood up for her friends, her never one to take crap.

even thinking back to his first official day at the school in kings dominion, where marcus had gotten himself into that situation with chico- lilith was the one to save him from getting a punch from chico, even though moments before lilith had told him to not talk to her, as she 'did not associate with rats.'

sudden bangs being heard outside of the room caught marcus attention, bringing him out of his thoughts and instead bringing out the curiosity of what was happening. a faint laugh was heard outside, one that marcus thought sounded familiar, but he couldn't pinpoint on who it could be exactly.

but when they appeared through the door, marcus blinked a few times, attempting to make his vision clear through the dark room.

"gosh could you look anymore comfortable right now?"

"i hate you layla." the blonde girl laughed, making her way towards marcus. she instantly turned to where his hands were tied, releasing him from that painful rope tied around his wrists, the feeling of his blood circulating back into his hands bringing relief to rush through marcus's body.

tiana had turned the light in the room by a flick of the switch that was situated on the wall next to the door she was stood by. it revealed to marcus that the two girls, alongside saya had managed to find him.

"like really marcus, you really just sat there peacefully whilst we worked our arses off out there?" tiana teased, marcus flipping her off before grabbing layla's hand, the girl giving the boy the aid and help he needs to get out of this warehouse.

"have you seen if alec or lex are here?" marcus asked the three girls, tiana shaking her head as they walked out of the room, making sure their direction was clear before advancing further.

"i did see another room guarded if i was being honest tia."

"that could be lex- i am pretty sure jason would not keep my brother here." tiana commented, saya nodded her head. it didn't take long for saya to say she would leave the group to go and see if it was true about her feeling that lex was in that room she saw before they found marcus. tiana asked if she needed to go with her,

but saya was fine by herself- her words being 'i haven't used my katana in a while, so it's only fitting that these dickheads get to know what it feels to be stabbed by one.'

"i will not lie, that girl can be scary sometimes." marcus spoke out, the two girls laughing as tiana went the other side of marcus, wrapping his arm around her shoulder, allowing her and layla to get him out of the warehouse at a quicker speed.

"lilith you need to stop pacing."

lilith turned her head, her eyes glaring at her brother who was sat on the sofa of tiana's home, him resting his head in addition to his body, him needing to recover from the abuse he had received from jason whilst in his captive.

"alec you are supposed to be sleeping- go to back to sleep." lilith commented, alec rolling his eyes, him glancing to tom whom just shrugged his shoulders at lilith's brother from where he was stood in the corner of the room.

"how am i supposed to sleep when you are stomping back and forth."

"oh shut up- i can just send you back to jason."

"you wouldn't dare."

"are you two seriously arguing right now?"

alec and lilith looked up to the door, lilith's heart stopping, a smile instantly being plastered onto her face. in walked in saya and lex, lilith not being able to hold back her excitement when she ran up to lex, engulfing her best friend into a hug.

"you're okay." lilith mumbled into his shoulder, the feeling of lex's hand rubbing up and down lilith's back making her smile, a sense of ease rushing through her.

"hey we need to get you sat down- tom grab that seat for me would you?" lex smiled at lilith as she pulled away, with the help of saya, the two guided him to the seat tom had just grabbed, sitting him down.

"where's tia? she was with you guys, and so was layla?"

"they're coming." saya said, assuring the brunette girl stood beside her, who had a look of worry on her face.

"wait how did you find lex, i thought it was only a supply drop at the warehouse you three went to?" lilith asked, saya shaking her head in response to lilith's words.

"nope. turns out it was a full on warehouse- more of a training warehouse for jason's men. so that means that billy and that lot had just found an empty warehouse."

"i hope so- cause i do not want to have to do another rescue mission. that shit is tiring." lilith sighed, her sitting down on the floor next to lex's chair, her hand finding his, each of them giving the others hand a squeeze.

"well we still haven't found marcus." lilith added onto her words, her looking up to lex to see him trying to hold back a smile. "-what? what are you laughing at?" she asked her friend, him letting out a faint laugh before pointing upwards towards the door.

"what?" lilith asked, still not knowing what lex was getting at, until she did. once again her heart stopped, it felt like time stopped when she saw him.

marcus.

"hey." marcus whispered upon leaning against the doorframe, layla and tiana walking into the room, one of them grabbing him a chair so he could also sit down. but that was not going to be happening for a while. why?

well, lilith made her way over to marcus, engulfing him into a hug immediately, her quickly apologising when she heard him grunt from the force of her hugging him. but he didn't mind the pain right now, as he returned the hug to the girl he had a long history with, as well as the girl whom he had a strong admire and feelings towards.

"i'm glad you're okay."

"just a few broken bones but we're fine." marcus said, trying to play off the pain he was in, just like lilith had done that one time when she had returned from being tortured by jason herself.

"oh shut up." lilith said, pulling away from the boy so she could look at him. he had a smile on his face, him glad to not only be in the presence of the group once again, but also lilith.

"oh you two just kiss already!"

the group laughed as lilith looked behind marcus to see billy stood at the entrance of the front door alongside ethan, willie and petra. the green haired boy sent a playful wink to marcus and lilith, to whom both sent a middle finger his way.

"so everyone's okay? we're all back?" petra asked as she walked past lilith and marcus, the group all standing in the living room of tiana's home. lilith and marcus were no longer hugging, but she still had her arm wrapped around marcus's shoulder, bringing him over to the chair so he could rest. lex sent lilith a smile as she sat in between lex's and marcus's chair, a clear smile evident on her face upon having her friends and family all safe in one room.

"yeah but we did find something." billy spoke out, a frown on his face. each of the group shared the same look to the green haired boy, as willie stood next to him.

"can't it wait till later?" tom asked, willie and billy shaking their heads immediately to the boy still stood in the corner of the room, layla and ethan having joined him as the trio stood together.

"it could- but it would not be good. it's important." willie spoke, the three grey siblings exchanging looks before looking back at willie and billy. marcus took lilith's hand, giving it a squeeze- this gesture making lilith smile his way, her attention however quickly being brought back onto willie and billy.

"we found this." willie commented, him and billy both holding a few rolled pieces of paper. tiana held her hand out, lilith getting up from the floor, releasing her grip from marcus's hand so she could stand next to her sister.

"you have got to be fucking kidding me."
