That day all I could do was smile at Megan and be happy for her. I encouraged her to call him the next day so they could talk everything out. Turned out they're both virgins, but they both thought otherwise. Megan said he kept apologising, even though she said she didn't really care about it. They both came to an agreement to wait a little more with the sex since they're both inexperienced and he says he wants to make it as special as he can for the both of them. I haven't met him yet, but I like him already.

The meeting at my father's company went great. It turns out my dad and Chris's were good friends, something my mom never told us. So when Chris and I met each other in a meeting that was planned for us, we were super confused. Our parents signed a contract together. It all comes down to the fact that the two companies must collaborate to carry a project out. We'll get to know more about the project when we're officially CEO and we've got everything under control.

I was supposed to take the office over from a far away cousin of my dad after my graduation, but he no longer has the patience to wait until then. So he wants teach me and update me on everything I need to know to be able to run this company, so that by the time I graduate I will be fully prepared and he can go back to England.

Christian's aunt didn't mind holding his place, but the fact that the companies have to work together is the reason that Chris and I have to be on the same level. So Chris is starting, because I am.

So far it's all been interesting and it's nothing I can't handle. I go in every day after classes and the employees are warming up to me. Most of them are nice. I think some of them might have a problem with someone who could have been their daughter or granddaughter, as their boss.

My uncle did teach me that it would be better if I don't treat my employees like friends, because that would be the same as giving them the authority to do whatever they want. I'm afraid it's gonna take a while before I can get used to that, since I've always treated employees like family.

The sound of ma'am, miss Righters and boss are killing me cause it makes me feel old, but that's how it's supposed to be. My assistant is intimidated by me, because according to her I have this 'don't mess with me' look and the way I always sit and walk straight with pride makes her want to fall down. She confessed that on the second day.
I assured her that that's just how I am and that there's nothing to be intimidated by as long as she does her job like it's supposed to be done.

Yesterday I got news that Jessica is doing great. Her surgery was successful and she and her dad moved into their new home. According to the doctor she should be on her feet in five months max. After the whole thing on the news her father got a job as a fulltime guitarist for a band. It pays well and more than enough for him and his daughter to survive. Of course that was because of his talent and not because of us.

Justin is still all into Selena, but he's scared to tell her. Turns out he's always had a crush on her since high school when he saved her from two men who were about to make her a rape victim, but he was either too full of himself or too shy to ask her out.

He's thanked me countless times for bringing Selena to him even though I told him I didn't. He still thinks that he got a chance with her thanks to me.

Chris and I on the other hand haven't had any intimate contact with each other since my birthday and I'm afraid he might be over me. I wouldn't blame him tho. Who would?

"Ma'am it's lunch time and I'm going out to get something to eat. Is there something you'd like?" My assistant asks pulling me out of my thoughts of these past few days.

"No Brianna, Thank you. I'll be leaving in a few minutes, so you probably won't see me when you get back" I say smiling at her. I didn't go to school today, because I just had a few things to take care of around here. I'm working ahead of my syllabus anyway so I'm not really missing anything. Plus I'm getting extra credit in economics. Not like I need it tho.

"Okay ma'am. Is there something you need me to do before I go?" She asks.

"Not really. Tomorrow I'll be needing those files my uncle was talking about, so I'd appreciate it if they were on my desk before I arrive"

"Sure ma'am. I'll get them done today"

"Good. That'd be all. Now go and enjoy your lunch" I say and she leaves the room.

I look at the papers I was busy with before I got distracted by my own thoughts. Just a few more minutes and I'll be done. I promised myself never to take my work home no matter how much I still have to do.

Tomorrow is Valentine's day and for the first time in forever I'll be alone. My mom went to Paris with John and I'm not sure Chris will be around. It'll be me and my ice cream watching movies on Netflix. I finish what I still had to do and leave my office.

Look at me turning into a business woman with her pencil skirt. Gha!
