We see Dimitri and Ashton at the castle as Dimitri was seen looking at the castle.

Dimitri: Ash, don't ya think there's something familiar?

Ashton: Now that you mentioned it, it does look familiar.

Dimitri: I can't put my finger on where I saw these but it does remind me of something.

Ashton: Maybe something in this castle may have something that can help us understand about this place.

Dimitri: Right.

We then see the two as they were seen in a room as there were bookshelves as they were seen going through them.

???: Like, who are you and what are you doing in my library?

They then turned and saw a man with brown hair in a robe

Dimitri: Oh, sorry sir, we didn't know this was an inhabited castle

Ashton: Say you look familiar.

Dimitri: Yeah, you look like someone famous.

Ashton walked closer to the man

Ashton: Oh my god. You're Mr. Shagworthy, uncle to THE Shaggy Rogers!

Dimitri: Oh, so that's why you looked familiar.

Ashton: And we are really sorry for coming here, we thought this castle was abandoned.

Shagworthy: Oh like, that's water under the bridge, make yourselves at home. Breakfast is at seven.

Ashton: Kindhearted just like his nephew.

Dimitri: Yeah, guess things turned to a bright side.

Shagworthy: Now it's late, why don't you all get some sleep.

Dimitri: Right, we'll call it a night.

We then see them going to their rooms.

Dimitri: This is actually a great thing.

Ashton: Yeah, and the best part is-

Shagworthy: Like no! Put me down! No!

Ashton: Mr. Shagworthy.

Dimitri: Come on!

We then see them running to where they heard Mr. Shagworthy and saw that he was gone as we saw the others coming.

Naofumi: What happened?

Ashton: The guy that is letting us stay here was kidnapped.

Dimitri: (looks out the window) And I think we may have company. Ash, I think you'll like this.

Ashton then looked out the window and saw a van pulling up to the castle.

Ashton: Mystery Incorporated.

Dimitri: And perfect timing. Let's go see them.

We then see them going outside as they see mystery incorporated themselves.

Ashton: Mystery Incorporated in the flesh.

Dimitri: What brings you all here?

Shaggy: Like we came here to see my uncle.

Ashton: Well ya kinda came at a bad time.

???: Yes you must leave the castle at once. Before they show up again.

They all turned and saw a blonde woman wearing servant clothes.

Dimitri: Who are you?

Fiona: Fiona, one of the castle's servants.

Ashton: What happened to Mr. Shagworthy?

Fiona: The master had disappeared.

Naofumi: Disappeared? How?

Fiona: He was a victim of the curse of camelot.

Daphne and Ashton: Wait so this is Camelot Castle?

Fiona: Yes, but when he brought the castle here, he also brought something else with it, the ghost of Merlin the sorcerer and his evil servant the black knight.

Dimitri: Well ghost or no ghost we're not leaving till we find Shagworthy.

Then laughter was heard as they all turned to see a red puff of smoke appear as they then saw an elderly man in a red wizard robe.

Merlin: Who dares to enter the domain of the great Merlin?

Scooby: Not us.

Shaggy: Like, we were just leaving.

They then went into the ground and dug around the castle like gophers.

Merlin: Foolish mortals, there is no escape.

They then popped their heads out.

Merlin: (Points at Fiona) Since thou did not heed my warning of no intruders thou must suffer the curse of camelot.

Fiona: No, anything but that!

Merlin then waved his wand as a red puff of smoke appeared as we saw a black knight appear

Melin: Away with thee.

Fiona: No!

The black knight then picked up Fiona and walked into a wall and vanished.

Merlin: And as for thee, leave now or I shall loose my black magic spells on you.

He then laughed as he then disappeared in a red puff of smoke.

Ashton: That does it, we're going in there and rescuing Mr. Shagworthy.

We then see them going inside the castle as they look around.

Velma: Wow, this place is pretty creepy.

Dimitri: Yeah, Shagworthy even brought the spider webs.

Ashton: I think we all should split up and find clues.

Dimitri: Good call, we can cover more ground that way.

Ashton: I'll take my group along with Renamon, Dimitri you take your group along with Shoutmon and Naofumi.

Daphne: Um can I go with you too?

Ashton: Sure.

Velma: I'll go with Dimitri.

Ashton: Let's split up.

We then see Ashton along with his group as they were seen going through the castle.

Ashton: Alright, we need to find out what the ghost did with Mr. Shagworthy.

Esdeath: But what would those ghosts want with Shagworthy?

Ashton: We'll figure that out once we find him.

We then see Dimitri along with his group as they were seen going through a room.

Shoutmon: What are we doing again?

Dimitri: Looking for clues that will lead to the ghost.

Jessica: Right, so we need to figure out what the ghost did with Shaggy's uncle.

Dimitri: And what better way to find clues.

Naofumi: Right.

We then see them going into the library as they were seen looking around the room.

Dimitri: Ok, this room has to have something.

Naofumi: Hey, I found something.

Dimitri turned and saw Noafumi holding a red scarf.

Dimitri: A red scarf, nice going Naofumi, we have our first clue.

Jessica: Hold on, I think I saw that kind of scarf, that looks like the one Zee uses for her magic acts.

Dimitri: So it means whoever is behind this is an expert on stage magic.

Shoutmon: How does that make any sense?

Dimitri: We should look for more clues before we make our answers, let's see how Ashton is doing.

We then see them leaving the room as we see Ashton and his group as they were seen going through the castle hall as Ashton sees Dimitri coming to him with his group.

Dimitri: Ash, we found a clue.

Ashton: Really?

Dimitri: (holds up the red silk scarf) Naofumi found this in the library and this gives us a hunch that the culprit behind Shagworthy's disappearance is an expert magician.

Ashton: We also found a clue.

Dimitri: Really? What is it?

Ashton: Him.

They turned and saw that the black knight was behind shoutmon.

Dimitri: Uh, Shoutmon.

Shoutmon: Don't tell me, there's something right behind me isn't it?

The others all nodded yes as Shoutmon looked behind him to see the black knight.

Shoutmon: Oh, now I see.

The black knight then tried to grab Shoutmon as he then ran before getting grabbed as we see the others running out of the room as we see them running through the hall as they then hear laughter and look up to see ghost knights flying in the air laughing.

Shoutmon: Great, more ghosts!

Ashton: This way!

We then see them running off into another room as they then close the door.

Ashton: That was close.

Dimitri: Tell me about it. But that won't stop us from finding Mr. Shagworthy.

Ashton: That's right, he needs our help.

Esdeath: So far we only have one clue.

Dimitri: But we're not giving up yet, let's go see if the rest of the scooby gang has any luck on finding clues.

We then see them walking out the room as they were seen walking through the halls as they saw the scooby gang.

Ashton: Did you find anything?

Fred: All I found was Scooby and Shaggy and they're acting strange even for them.

Ashton: What do you mean? Nevermind that, let's keep looking.

We later see them in a room as the others were under as chandelier as we see Scooby and Shaggy at a upper floor as they were snickering as they looked at a rope as Shaggy signaled to Scooby to remove the ropes as we see Scooby loosening the ropes as the others looked at the two as Shaggy and Scooby both acted innocent.

Ashton: Something's off with those two.

Shaggy: (Snickering) Now.

Scooby: Ok.

Scooby and Shaggy then loosen the ropes as they were then pulled with the rope as they looked to see the two going up as the chandelier went falling down as they saw Shaggy and Scooby hanging on the rope at the ceiling.

Dimitri: Wanna know what they were up to, the ceiling by the looks of it.

Then the ceiling broke as Shaggy and Scooby fell down to the floor.

Shoutmon: What's with them?

Asuka: (Points at the chandelier) Hey, they tried to trap us in that.

We then saw Shaggy and Scooby walking like they were sleepwalking as Ashton grabbed them.

Ashton: Ok you two, what's with the phony sleepwalking bit?

Dimitri: I don't think it's fake Ash. Look at them. (waves his hand at Shaggy and Scooby) They're both mesmerized.

Naofumi: So that's it, Merlin has control over their minds.

Ashton: And I think I know how to un-mesmerize them.

We then see Ashton making a very tall sandwich as he placed it near Shaggy and Scooby as they sniffed it and then snapped out of the trance.

Shaggy and Scooby: Food!

Dimitri: Nice work Ashton.

Ashton: It's all power of stomach over mind.

Naofumi: Did you two remember anything Merlin told you?

Scooby: Merlin?

Shaggy: Merlin who?

Ashton: Nevermind, let's keep going.

We then see them walking through the halls of the castle.

Yang: I don't like the looks of this place.

Then a moaning sound was heard.

Shaggy: And I don't like the sound of it either.

Ashton: (looks around) Hey we're in a dungeon.

Then the moaning was coming from a cell as they went in and saw Mr. Shagworthy as he was in chains.

Dimitri: Mr. Shagworthy.

Shaggy: Uncle Shagworthy, we found you.

Shaggy: Nephew Shaggy.

Shaggy: Those moans, Like are you alright?

Shagworthy: It's my stomach, like I'm famished.

Shaggy: Like me too.

Dimitri: Like uncle, like nephew.

We then see Shagworthy was free as he was seen eating some scooby snacks.

Shagworthy: Then about two weeks ago about twelve thirty every night, that Merlin ghost and his tin can pal started prowling around the castle. Seemed to be searching for something.

Asuka: Twelve thirty?

Shoutmon: I always thought that ghosts start prowling at the stroke of midnight.

Shaggy: Like, maybe his hourglass was slow or something.

Ashton: I doubt that highly.

Dimitri: Velma, where were you all before you came to the castle?

Velma: We were at a magic show of Phyldia's which ended at midnight.

Ashton: Hmm, something tells me that it might be connected to the ghost.

Naofumi: So we gotta find those ghosts, care to join us, Shagworthy?

Shagworthy: I can't have an allergy.

Yang: An allergy?

Shagworthy: Yeah, like I'm allergic to ghosts.

Dimitri: Like I said, like uncle, like nephew.

We then see them going to a room as it was seen to be trashed.

Asuka: This must be the treasury room.

Dimitri: But it looks like those ghosts ravaged the place.

Ashton: They must've been searching for something very valuable.

Dimitri: Hmmm, I think I have a hunch what those ghosts are looking for.

Yang: What is it?

Dimitri: Jewels, Shagworthy is a rich jewel dealer isn't he Shaggy?

Shaggy: Like yeah, he's a zillionaire jewel dealer.

Ashton: So that means that merlin ghost and his knight buddy are after Shagworthy's jewels.

Dimitri: Exactly. You know, I bet we might find a clue in the tower.

Ashton: Right, and I'll bet we'll find all the answers in the highest room of the tallest tower.

We later see everyone as they were seen at the roof of the castle as they saw the tower.

Ashton: All we need to do is find a way up there.

Dimitri: I may have an idea.

We then see Dimitri putting up a board and put a stone on it as it was attached to a rope as Ashton was on the roof.

Ashton: So what now?

Dimitri: All you have to do is jump on that board which will catapult the boulder up to the tower and into the window.

Asuka: And we'll all climb the rope.

Ashton: Got it.

Ashton then jumped down and landed on the board as it sent the boulder up into the air but came down and launched Ashton up and landed in the window inside the tower as he sticks his head out the window.

Ashton: I want to do that again!

Dimitri: Maybe later, but can ya find a way for us to get inside.

Ashton: Right.

We later see the others as Ashton was opening the door for them to come inside.

Ashton: Welcome to Merlin Tower.

Dimitri: Hey look at that.

They then see an electric pipe organ.

Ashton: And if I am correct I think we have this mystery just about wrapped up. All that's left is to catch the ghosts.

Dimitri: But a trap needs bait. And Shaggy and Scooby are perfect. (Holds up scooby snacks) What do ya say guys?

Shaggy: Alright, we're in.

We later see Merlin and the black knight walking through the castle.

Merlin: Wait till I get my hands on those meddlers.

We then see Shaggy and Scooby on a bike as they come to Merlin and the black knight.

Shaggy: Special delivery for Mr. Merlin and Mr. Knight. (hold up a paper on a clipboard) Sign here please.

Merlin then signed the paper.

Shaggy: Thank you, give it to him Scoob.

Scooby and Shaggy then pulled out pies and threw them at Merlin and the black knight.

Shaggy: What? No tip?

Scooby: Cheapskates.

They then drove off as we see Merlin and the black knight go after them as we see the others at the tower as we see Ashton turn the electric pipe organ on as we see the screen show Shaggy and Scooby driving off as Merlin and the black knight went after them.

Ashton: They took the bait, and they're heading to the ballroom. Now phase two.

We then see Merlin and the black knight enter the ballroom as they look around.

Merlin: They got to be in here someplace.

Merlin then looked at a pillar and saw Scooby's tail

Merlin: Now I have thee!

The black knight then lifted the pillar as Shaggy and Scooby were seen.

Shaggy: Hold it, have you paid your light bill?

We then see Shoutmon was on the chandelier and blew out the candles making the room dark.

Merlin: My wand!

We then see the black knight turn the lights on as he saw Shaggy, Scooby and Shoutmon running to the exit as Shaggy had Merlin's wand.

Black Knight: A ha!

Shaggy: Oh yeah? Abracadabra!

We then see the others in the tower.

Dimitri: That's the que Ash.

Ashton: Roger.

Ashton then pressed a key on the organ and played the pipe organ as we went to Shaggy.

Shaggy: Abracadabra.

We then see the ghost knights appear flying in the room laughing as Merlin sees them.

Merlin: Only I know the secrets of magic in this castle.

Shaggy: Now for the grand finale.

Shoutmon: Allow me. (takes the wand) Bippity Boppity Boo!

We then went to the others.

Naofumi: You know the drill.

Ashton: Got it.

Ashton then pressed a few keys and then his finger got stuck in the keys.

Ashton: Uh oh, guys we have a problem.

Shoutmon: Bippity Boppity Boo! (looks at the wand) Uh oh.

Ashton: Let go you stupid keyboard!

Dimitri: Looks like Ash is now the danger-

Ashton punches Dimitri in the face breaking his nose as we then go to Shaggy, Scooby and Shoutmon as they see the two ghosts coming to them.

Shaggy: Like, forget the magic, let's use our feet!

They then ran as they jumped to a tapestry as we see Merlin and the black knight come to them.

Merlin: Pull them down and it will all be over.

Blacck Knight: Yes master.

The black knight then grabbed the tapestry and pulled it only for the tapestry to be ripped off and fall on him and Merlin.

Merlin: Watch it you dolt!

Shoutmon: Huh, guess that's one way to catch a ghost.

Then the pole they were holding on to broke and they fell as we see the others come to them as they came to Merlin and the black knight.

Ashton: Now to see who's trying to steal Mr. Shagworthy's jewels.

Ashton then removed the black knight's helmet and was revealed to be a man.

Shoutmon: Who's that?

Ashton: Just a hired henchman for the real culprit.

Dimitri then pulled on Merlin's face and was revealed to be Fiona.

Shoutmon: Fiona?

Velma: She'd like us to think so Shoutmon, but it's really...

Ashton then pulled on Fiona's face and was revealed to be a mask revealing a woman with red hair.

All: Phlydia!

We later see Shagworthy with them.

Shagworthy: And how may I ask did ya figure out it was Phlydia?

Ashton: The first clue was when we saw the black knight vanish into the wall with Fiona.

Naofumi: That's an old stage magician's trick.

Jessica: Then there was the red silk scarf, which is also used in magic acts.

Velma: And the console that made all the ghosts of the round table appear was just a magician's type of allusion.

Dimitri: But the most important clue was when you told us that Merlin's ghost always appeared thirty minutes after midnight.

Shagworthy: What's important about that?

Yang: Phlydia's magic show in town ends at midnight and it took her thirty minutes to get here.

Ashton: Now it's our turn for a little magic Phlydia, we're gonna make you and your pal disappear from here, and reappear in jail. But I believe in second chances.

Dimitri: Yeah, so we'll make you an offer, we'll let ya off, but in return you have to promise that you won't tell anyone that we were here.

Ashton: So do we have a deal.

Phlydia: We have a deal.

Ashton: Good.

We later see everyone with Shagworthy at the library.

Shagworthy: Nephew, you look hungry.

Ashton: Now that's a news bulletin.

Shaggy: I sure am, unc. I wish you could wave a magic wand and come up with a dozen hamburgers.

Scooby: Yeah, hamburgers.

Shagworthy: Like who needs magic?

He then pulled a rope as a secret passage opened up as we saw a fridge and table of food come out.

Shagworthy: I always keep a few snacks around for emergencies.

Naofumi: But there's still one thing that I don't understand.

Shagworthy: What's that?

Naofumi: How come Phlydia never found your jewels?

Shagworthy: Because I keep all my greatest treasures in the refrigerator.

Ashton: Figures in this family/

Shagworthy then opened the fridge and showed a bucket of jewels.

Ashton: That has to be like a cool million in jewels in that.

Shagworthy: Shall we say, a very cool million.

Velma: But there's one thing that I am curious to ask.

Dimitri: What's that?

Velma: What were you all doing in Shagworthy's castle?

Dimitri then looked at Ashton as he then nodded yes to him.

Dimitri: Well you may not know this but me and Ashton are both cardinal knights known as the scythe knight and staff knight, and our friend Naofumi is the shield hero.

Velma: I remember reading about it, you two are part of the cardinal knights.

Ashton: Guilty as charged

Dimitri: And right now, me, Ash and Naofumi are in a situation that has given us a bad reputation.

Ashton: See the three of us have been framed for something we didn't do and that left us to be outcasts to this country.

Naofumi: Yeah, and we've been trying to find a way to clear our names.

Daphne: Jeepers, that's terrible.

Dimitri: Yeah, we were summoned here to protect this world and it spat in our faces

Velma: Perhaps we can help you all clear your names.

Ashton: We like that.

Shagworthy: And I have something for you three, think of it as my way of saying thanks and to help you with your journey.

Shagworthy then handed them three bags as they looked in them to see they were filled with jewels.

Ashton: You're giving us some of your jewels.

Shagworthy: Of course, you three need them.

Dimitri: Thanks sir.

Ashton: You really didn't have to but thanks

Dimitri: But Ash, do ya think that we are able to show our faces in town?

Ashton: I'm not because people seem to hate me more.

Dimitri: Well let's try to see what it's like there.

We later see them at town as they looked around and saw people there and looking at them like they did something bad.

Dimitri: Well we can show our faces.

Ashton: Yeah, but everyone still hates us.

???: Looks like you three could use some help.

They all turned and saw a man in an alleyway looking at them.

Ashton: And you are?

Beloukas: my name is Beloukas, and I have something to help your shield friend.

Ashton: Really? How?

Beloukas: Follow me.

We then see them follow Beloukas as they went down the stairs and were under the town as they saw a tent as they went inside to see various cages with tarps on them

Ashton: What is this place?

Belouka: Why my business.

Dimitri: And your business is what exactly?

Beloukas: Slaves my boy.

Ashton: I think I'm gonna be-

Ashton looks in one of the cages and sees a chained woman with blue scales and red hair

Ashton: Let her go.

Dimitri: Um, is there a way that Ashton can purchase her? God that makes me feel sick.

Ashton: D, what are you?

Dimitri: Just go with it.

Ashton: Fine, how much is the lady in blue worth?

Dimitri then looked at a cage to see a wolf girl in it.

Dimitri: And her too. Though I have a question. Why do you think we would want slaves?

Berouka: Oh I don't know the fact that it could be their life or betray their master. See we keep our slaves in line by placing them under the effects of a cruse, a strong seal based curse, if they mmisbehave it could take their lives. What do ya say?

Naofumi: Fine, show us what you got.

Berouka: I knew you had what it takes to be a most wonderful patreon.

Dimitri then looked at the other cages and saw the creatures in them.

Dimitri: Some of them don't look human.

Berouka: I can assure you that they still are technically.

Ashton: Tell us more, we still don't know much about this world.

Berouka: Creatures that look mostly human but still aren't are what we call demi-humans. They're mostly used as servants or manual labor. Beastmen are demi humans whose appearance leads more to the animal side, they're often used as bodyguards or gambled on as participants in death matches.

Dimitri: I see.

Then coughing was heard as they went to a cage and Naofumi lifted the tarp to see a young demi human girl with animal ears and a tail as they looked at her.
