At a city we go to a museum as we see an exhibit as it shows a tapestry of eight knights as each one were seen wielding a weapon as they wielded a scythe, staff, warhammer, battleax, whip, mace, crossbow and katana as we see six boys and two girls coming as they see the tapestry as they looked to see eight pedestals as a scythe, staff, warhammer, a battle ax, whip, mace, crossbow and katana.

Ashton: This new exhibit here seems to explain a story about eight heroes called the cardinal knights.

Dimitri: And it says that the cardinal knights all fourth together along with the cardinal heroes of the spear, sword, bow and shield to stop the pending waves of apocalyptic catastrophe and in order to prevent that 8 heroes must be summoned from another world to band together and-

We then see the weapons on the pedestals begin to glow as they see it.

Ashton: Duck and cover!

Then before they even could react we then see them all vanish as we see them all going through a wormhole of a portal as they were seen falling through it screaming as the eight weapons were seen falling with them.

Everette: I want my mommy!

Ashton: Dude you're such a wimp.

We then see them black out as we see Dimitri waking up as he looked around as he then looked to see he and the others were in a room as Ashton then woke up and grabbed his head.

Ashton: Turn off the sun

Dimitri: Ash what is that on your back?

Ashton then looked behind him and sees a staff made of gold

Ashton: That's the staff from the museum

Dimitri: Does that mean that the story is true?

Ashton: I guess so, and this makes me the staff hero. Btw where are my clothes?

Dimitri: But what does this make me?

Ashton: Dude look at your shadow.

Dimitri then looked at his shadow and saw his shadow had what looked like something pointy coming out of his head as he looked up behind him and saw a scythe.

Dimitri: So this means I'm the scythe knight.

Ashton: Guess I know you're the scariest between us

Piper then got up and looked at her hand to see a trident.

Piper: I'm the trident knight.

Everette: What?

Everette was seen holding a crossbow.

Everette: Of all the weapons, I get a primitive version of a gun.

Dimitri: But look at the bright side, at least you can do far range combat.

Andruw was seen holding a Warhammer.

Andruw: Not my style but guess I can work with it.

Elliotte was seen wielding a battle ax.

Elliotte: I can work with this.

We then see Grayson was holding a rapier as Rowan had a katana.

Dimitri: Guess we know what knights we are now.

Ashton: But we still have no idea where we even are. And I'm still naked!

Dimitri: (Sees some baskets) Hey there's some baskets over there maybe they have something for us to wear.

Andruw: Hey each basket has a note attached

Dimitri then grabbed the note and read it.

Dimitri: This basket is for Ashton. From a Carme- no way that can't be who I think it is.

Ashton: You don't mean.

Dimitri: Carmelita Fox.

Ashton: Ok, either A, we're all losing our minds and this is a bizarre dream or B, we all have been transported to another world that has my favorite foxy lady.

Dimitri: It would seem like it's B

Elliotte: But if we were brought here then why didn't our clothes come with us?

Everette: Hmm, maybe it's because clothes couldn't go through the portal because nothing inorganic can cross through dimensional space.

Andruw: Dimitri this one has your name on it.

Dimitri then picked up the basket and saw the green lantern symbol on it

Dimitri: I know that symbol and that type of style, this means that Jessica Cruz is here too and she has an eye for style cuz this is nice.

Piper: Um, not to break up this subject but can we please put our clothes on, I don't want any perverts to come by.

Ashton: Right, let's get dressed and see what this place is.

We later see them coming out the room in the outfits they have on as they were seen walking through the building.

Ashton: I think I'm gonna like this outfit.

Dimitri: Yeah, these are nice.

Piper: Guys, I think we're in a school.

Ashton: How do you know?

Piper: I mean look at the place, it has the things a school has.

Elliotte: Piper has a point.

Dimitri: She's right.

???: Glad to see you all are up.

They then looked to see a fox lady.

Ashton: It's Carmelita Fox.

Carmelita: So you all are the cardinal knights. Welcome to Union Academy.

Ashton: (stutters)

Dimitri: Sorry about him, he's just glad to meet you.

Carmelita: I see, well follow me.

We then see them follow Carmelita as we see them arrive at the main room as they saw a woman was there.

McGonagall: So you young men and women are the eight cardinal knights of legend, I am Minerva McGonagall and I welcome you all to Union Academy, please identify yourselves.

Dimitri: Dimitri Frost, I'm the eldest brother of four brothers and two sisters.

Andruw: Andruw, second eldest.

Elliotte: Elliotte, and I'm the third oldest.

Grayson: Name's Grayson and I'm the fourth oldest.

Piper: Piper and the fifth oldest.

Everette: Everette, and the sixth sibling.

Rowan: And I'm Rowan and I'm the youngest.

Ashton: Guess that leaves me, names Ashton Caldwell, but are you like the principal of this place?

McGonagall: No, I am only placed in charge while the principals are away.

Ashton: Oh. I see.

Dimitri: But why were we even brought here?

McGonagall: You all have been summoned to help fight the waves of catastrophe with the cardinal heroes.

Andruw: But where are they? We didn't see them when we got here.

Mcgonagall: They are in the kingdom of Melromarc.

Ashton: Oh I see, and let me guess you want us to find them?

McGonagall: Yes, and I am allowing you all to bring a few people to be part of your party

Dimitri: You know this almost feels like this is a video game.

Ashton: Let's get crazy. I would humbly ask Carmelita Fox to join us.

Carmelita: Why thank you, and it is an honor to be alongside the Cardinal Knights.

Ashton: We could also use a couple of witches

Dimitri: I have a good one, I would like to ask Bellatrix Lestrange to join us.

Everett: Dude, are you crazy, she's a bad guy.

Ashton: Bad guys have more fun! That's my motto.

Dimitri: Exactly, and since Ashton is making some picks i should make some too, like Yang Xiao Long

Ashton: Nice choice.

Dimitri: Thanks, and I know there are some others I have in mind, like Asuka, along with Jessica Cruz. Oh and Asuka's team as well.

Ashton: And is it alright if Glynda Goodwitch joins us?

McGonagall: Yes.

Ashton: Thank you Professor.

Piper: Hey, if you guys are picking out your members for your parties, how about letting the rest of us pick our party members too.

Ashton: Right, once me and Dimitri make our choices you and the others can make yours my final choice is Lavender Brown.

Dimitri: I'll have to go with Rias Gremory and Erza Scarlet.

Piper: Ok, it's my turn, I'll choose Tenya, Jaune, Nora, and Gray.

Rowan: I'll go with Ruby, Juvia, Natsu, and Ren.

Elliotte: Then I'll go with Katsuki, Fumikage, Izuku, and Momo.

Everette: My choices are SpongeBob, Danny Phantom, Aang, and Michalangelo. And his brothers too, Leonardo, Donatello, and Raphael.

Ashton: Nickelodeon heroes. Oh boy this is gonna be interesting.

Everett: What can i say there my favorites, oh and is it alright if i can bring Spongebob's best friend? It's just wherever Spongebob goes Sandy should as well.

Ashton: Sandy? For a minute I thought you were talking about the pink moron.

Everett: Oh that reminds me and Patrick too.

Ashton: (Realizes) I had to open my big fat mouth. God, Patrick is gonna be annoying.

Andruw: Now for my choices, I'll pick Edward Elric, his brother Alphonse, Luffy, Nami, and Zoro.

Ashton: Hey I found this fiery looking fruit.

Andruw: Fiery fruit? That sounds like a Devil fruit and that one is the Flame-Flame fruit. Dude you should eat it and you'll get Fire powers!

Dimitri: But won't that mean if he eats he won't be able to swim?

Ashton: I was never that good at it anyway. I even have one for each of us.

Ashton pulls out a box of fruit

Dimitri: Ok, maybe we should hold on to them for emergencies.

Grayson: Anyway, it's my turn, I'll go with Shirou Ogami, Hiccup, Iron Man, and Tommy Oliver.

Ashton: Great choices.

Dimitri: Let's top this off with two more

Ashton: I think I'll choose my favorite blue haired ice princess. Esdeath

Dimitri: Nice and I think I'll go with my favorite red coat lady. Carmen Sandiego.

Andruw: Then we're all set.

McGonagall: As for you all you will be given one thousand silver coins while the scythe and staff knights will both have twelve hundred silver.

Ashton: Nice.

Dimitri: Then let's head to Melromarc.

We later see them as they were seen riding in a ship as it was seen sailing through the sea.

Ashton: This is actually amazing.

Dimitri: Yeah, going to an epic adventure, fighting monsters, and being recognized as legendary heroes.

Ashton: Yeah, this will be the greatest thing ever.

Dimitri: Yeah.

Ashton then looked to see Natsu as he was hanging on the edge of the ship looking sick as Ashton then laughed at the sight of that as we later see them arriving at a castle as we see them going inside as they saw four young men as they saw a man at a throne.

Aultcray: So you young men and women are the eight cardinal knights of legend and you four young men are the four cardinal heroes of ancient legend? This is the land of Melromarc and I am her king Aultcray Malromarc the thirty second. Welcome brave heroes, please identify yourselves.

We then see a black haired boy holding up a sword.

Ren A.: Ren Amaki, I'm a high school student and I'm sixteen years old.

We then see a young man with long blonde hair holding a spear walk up.

Motoyasu: I'm Motoyasu Kitamura, college student, twenty one.

We then see a blonde-haired boy walk up holding a bow.

Itsuki: I suppose I'm up next, I'm Itsuki Kawasumi, still in high school and I'm seventeen.

Andruw: I'm Andruw.

Elliotte: Elliotte.

Grayson: I'm Grayson.

Piper: Piper.

Everette: Name's Everette.

Rowan: And I'm Rowan.

Dimitri: Well guess that leaves just us and the shield guy. My name is-

Aultcray: (Clears his throat) King is fine.

Dimitri: Ok, I'm Dimitri Frost.

Ashton: I'm Ashton Caldwell.

Naofumi: And I'm Naofumi Iwatani, college student, twenty years old.

Aultcray: I suppose I need to explain why we brought you all here.

Ashton: Is he ignoring us?

Aultcray: My beloved country of Melromarc and the entire world surrounding are heading down a path of ruin.

Dimitri: I see, so this world is in danger of something called the waves that unleashed monsters, and if it isn't stopped then this world will be at its end, and I assume each country has an hourglass that predicts when the wave will come.

Aultcray: Yes, we underestimated the potency of the waves, once we experienced and survived the first wave we realized that four cardinal heroes and eight cardinal knights could counter it. So we followed the legend and summoned you here. But now, we have no time to lose.

Ren A: Ok, I think we get the just of it, anyway I'm sure you didn't summon us here thinking we save you all for free.

Ashton: I have to agree with the sword guy, we aren't gonna save this place unless there is something in it for us.

Man: Of course not, once you repel all the waves I can assure you you all will be rewarded most handsomely.

Motoyasu: Well then, it seems like we have no choice but to take you at your word.

Ren A: As long as you don't renege we'll help you. But don't think for a moment that you can tame us.

Itsuki: Exactly, we won't put up with you looking down at us.

Dimitri: That's right, we prefer to be treated as equals.

Aultcray: If I can trust we have reached an agreeable arrangement I would ask you brave heroes to now check your statuses.

Ashton: Statuses?

Dimitri: What's that?

Itsuki: Yeah.

Ren A: Are you guys dense? It should have been the very first thing you noticed since you got here.

Ashton: No need for rudeness.

Dimitri: Yeah, just tell us.

Ren A: See the icon in the lower right corner of your vision?

Dimitri then looked as he then saw an icon in his vision.

Dimitri: Oh, I see it.

Ren A; Try focusing your attention on it.

Dimitri then focused his vision on the icon as we then see it show a screen as he sees his stats and the others did as they all saw that they were all level one.

Ashton: Only level one?

Dimitri: But is this anyway?

Man: It's called status magic, an ability exclusive to the heroes and knights.

Andruw: Where do we begin?

Man: You must go out on an adventure to develop and upgrade these weapons you have been equipped with.

Ashton: Wait, you mean these weren't maxed out when we got here?

Everette: But can't we just wield other weapons until these are usable?

Motoyasu: Yeah, I have to agree with him.

Dimitri: Perhaps we can figure that out and train first thing tomorrow.

Man: I neglected to mention, you must each recruit members for your parties and adventure separately, it is said that the legendary weapons repel one another, if you try to work together, it will apparently hinder one another. However, it doesn't say the same for the cardinal knights and their weapons.

Dimitri: He might be right, the thing actually says so and it translates the inscription into english for me.

Ashton: And since the sun is setting we'll rest here for the night.

We later see everyone in a room as it was a very luxurious room.

Ashton: Guess when we're all heroes of legend we get special treatment.

Dimitri: Alright since we are all here we should start with coming up with plans for tomorrow, since we need to level up as quickly as possible.

Ashton: Because Bella is being a little unruly.

Dimitri: Right, but don't you guys think that this is kinda like a video game?

Motoyasu: That's because it is a video game, it's just like Emerald Online.

Ashton: Huh? Never heard of it.

Motoyasu: Seriously? It's huge.

Itsuki: What are you talking about, it's not an online game, it's a new console game I'm playing called Dimension Web.

Ren A: You're both wrong, everything about this place is identical to a VR mmo rpg called Brave Star Online.

Dimitri: Ok, you three are all wrong, this place is kinda similar to a video game me and my siblings play called Skyrim.

Motoyasu: (Sighs) Let's sort this out. Dimitri, do you mean an actual video game?

Dimitri: Of course.

Motoyasu: You guys do get what he means right?

Ashton: Of course.

Naofumi: I read light novels on it.

Motoyasu: Now to be sure, let's compare general knowledge. Whose face is on the one thousand yen bill? Ready and...

They all stopped and looked at each other.

All: Wait, who?

Itsuki: Who's the prime minister?

Dimitri: Well there's only one thing that explains this, we're all from different versions of Earth.

Ren A: Right, and they don't sound anything alike at all.

Motoyasu: I thought we might be from different eras, but I guess not.

Ashton: I can't believe there's actually parallel worlds with parallel earths.

Dimitri: But we'll start our quest first thing in the morning. You guys do need to get members for your parties. And the way I see it, this will be an amazing beginning of our grand adventure.

Ashton: You're definitely sounding like a real video game character.

Dimitri: Well then let's get some sleep for tomorrow.

The next day came as we saw Dimitri and Ashton watching as Ren, Itsuki, Motoyasu, and Naofumi were standing as they saw many people coming to the three but not to Naofumi.

Ashton: Hey, why isn't anyone joining Naofumi?

Dimitri: If i have to guess, probably because of the fact he's the shield hero.

Ashton: Then let's change that.

We then see Dimitri and Ashton walk up to Naofumi.

Dimitri: Hey, you alright if we join ya?

Ashton: Yeah, seems rather unfair for you to go out alone.

???: Sir hero.

They then looked to see a young woman with red hair walking to them.

???: Would you kindly allow me to switch parties and join the shield hero?

Motoyasu: Are you sure?

??: I am.

Dimitri: Wow, this is going well.

Aultcray: Are there any others who are willing to join the shield hero?

Ashton: Our party members will join the shield hero.

Aultcray: Very well until then Naofumi will need to recruit members for himself, now then every month we shall provide each hero with the funds they require, this one time however masters Naofumi, Ashton and Dimitri's will be higher than the others.

Ashton: Wow, thanks king.

Aultcray: Here are your inicial warchests, accept them with our thanks.

We then see some women come and hand each of the heroes and knights bags of silver coins.

Man: Shield hero and the staff and scythe knights will receive eight hundred silver coins while the rest receive six hundred silver.

Aultcray: Procure all necessary equipment and set forth.

All: Sir!

We then see them outside the castle.

Ashton: This is gonna be an awesome adventure, a tale of three warriors of the scythe, staff and shield banding together on a quest to defeat the waves.

Motoyasu: Later guys.

They turned and saw Motoyasu along with the others as they were seen at the stairs.

Motoyasu: You three take good care of her now, ya hear me?

Dimitri: We will.

Itsuki: They said we can't help you directly, but I can at least wish Naofumi the best of luck on his recruiting.

They then started to walk off as we see it was only Dimitri, Ashton, and the others

Ashton: I bet ten bucks that Motoyasu is gonna be a big problem.

Dimitri: I have that thought too.

Myne: I beg your pardon, sir heroes, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Myne Sophia, it is an honor to fight with you three.

Ashton: Pleased to meet ya, my name is Ashton Caldwell (in his head) this chick has liar written all over her.

Dimitri: I'm Dimitri Frost.

Naofumi: And I'm Naofumi Iwatani.

Dimitri: We better get going.

We later see them going through town as they looked to see many shops as they saw them.

Dimitri: This place is amazing.

Ashton: First off, we should find a shop that sells weapons and armor.

Dimitri: Yeah, we would need that.

Myne: That makes sense, with all that silver I bet you can buy some nice things. I'll take you all to a shop I trust. They should have everything you need.

Naofumi: Alright.

Dimitri: Sounds good to me.

We then see them enter a shop as they look around.

Myne: This place gets my highest recommendation.

Ashton: Nice, we'll be able to find what we need here.

We then see a bearded man at a counter.

Erhard: Welcome good sirs, first time in a weapons shop huh?

Ashton: Yeah.

Erhard: (To Myne) Who are your companions?

Myne: You can't tell?

Erhard then noticed Dimitri, Ashton and Naofumi's weapons.

Erhard: Are you telling me that they're one of those heroes and knights? A scythe, staff and shield, so guess that means two of you must be the powerhouses.

Ashton: Hey, we joined Naofumi cause no one else could.

Dimitri: Our names are Dimitri, Ashton and Naofumi, pleased to meet you. We like to purchase some of the best equipment you have.

We then see them looking at a row of swords.

Erhard: Left to right that's iron, magic iron, magic steel, and silver iron in ascending order of price. All quality swords guaranteed.

Ashton: Wow. (Picks up a sword) With one of these Naofumi could definitely-

Then we see Ashton get shocked as he then dropped the sword as the others saw it..

Ashton: What just happened?

Ashton then tried to pick up a sword again as he was then shocked again.

Ashton: What's going on?

In Ashton's vision he then sees a message appear reading caution and was a rule violation.

Ashton: Rule violation? Huh? (Looks at his staff) Guess besides my staff I can't use any other weapons. And I guess it's the same with Dimitri and the others.

Dimitri: So that means me, Naofumi and Ashton are not allowed to use any other weapons but our scythe, staff and shield.

Ashton: Well that sucks!

Dimitri: How about we buy some armor?

We later see Dimitri coming out wearing a new outfit along with Ashton as Naofumi was wearing a new outfit.

Dimitri: This is promising.

Ashton: Yeah.

Myne: So how much do you want for these?

Erhard: Hero's discount about 150 silver each on these.

Myne: And the buyback price?

Erhard: If you all can bring it back in good condition, I'll give you 100 silver on each of them.

Ashton: Buyback price?

Myne: Once you all grow strong enough you three won't need this armor anymore, you don't want to get ripped off when you come to sell it back.

Ashton: Oh, that makes sense.

Myne: We'll take it.

Erhard: Excellent, I'll throw in some inner wear to show my thanks.

Ashton: Nice, but no offense to you but I'm good on the armor front.

Dimitri: Ok, now let's go.

We later see them as they were seen going through a meadow as they saw something going through the grass as we see Dimitri, Ashton and Naofumi come together with their weapons.

Dimitri: ALright, remember this will be a team effort, so I'll go in first and draw them out and use my scythe to weaken them, after that I'll need Ashton to use his staff on the monsters to cripple them and the three of us all take them down at once.

They then see Ashton running towards the tall grass.

Carmelita: He just ran in.

Dimitri: Come on Naofumi, stick to the plan.

We then see them running as we then see orange balloon like monsters come out as if they were running away as we see Dimitri leap up over then and did a slash as it knocked them back as Ashton then used his staff to hit them as we see Dimitri, Ashton and Naofumi come together as they then struck the monsters destroying them as we later see Naofumi putting a piece of the monster in his shield as it got absorbed into it as we see Dimitri and Ashton do the same as their weapons absorbed the balloon monster fragment as they saw they unlocked a new skill.

Dimitri: This must be part of a legendary weapon's power.

Ashton: But before we can upgrade to new weapons we're gonna need a lot more fodder.

Myne: Oh, I see.

Dimitri: But hey. (Holds up a balloon monster fragment) Think we can sell these orange balloon monster fragments?

Myne: Yes, but at most they'll only fetch one copper coin each.

Dimitri: And the more we level up, our weapons will evolve too, but let's call it a day.

Myne: We should start stocking at the weapons shop, if we can get some new equipment for me we'll get even further tomorrow.

Ashton: Yeah.

We later see them at Erhard's shop.

Erhard: Gear for the lady? You'll certainly be much stronger decked out with some good equipment.

Myne: Right.

Dimitri: Something tells me that this is gonna be expensive so i think we should start haggling now.

Erhard: Really? Seems our knight fancies himself a comedian.

Ashton: Eighty percent off.

Erhard: Twenty extra.

Ashton: Why's it going up? Eighty nine percent off.

Erhard: Anyone who tries to haggle before seeing the goods deserves to pay extra.

Dimitri: Oh yeah? Ninety percent off.

Erhard: twenty nine percent more!

Naofumi: Stop raising it!

Ashton: A hundred percent off!

Erhard: Then I'm just giving it away!

Dimitri: Free works for us!

They then looked to see Myne placing a sword and a set of armor for herself on the counter as they saw it.

Dimitri: So how much is that at sixty percent off?

Erhard: four hundred and eighty silver with a discount, that's the best I can offer.

Ashton: Fine we'll take it.

Erhard: Thanks a ton heroes.

Dimitri: Just wondering is there any place that we can sell these fragments (holds up a orange balloon monster fragment)

Erhard: There are shops that specialize in monster goods, they'll buy most of those off of ya.

Dimitri: Thanks.

We later see them at a pub as they were seen eating food.

Dimitri: You know back at my world, I have tried some nice food, but this place has the best meals ever.

Ashton: Yeah, I think I'm gonna like being here.

Dimitri then pulled out a map.

Dimitri: The meadow we fought those monsters was here right? (Points at a meadow)

Myne: Yup. Tomorrow we'll be heading to Lafan Village which lies beyond this map, and pass Lafan Village we'll find a dungeon that's perfect for rookie adventurers.

Ashton: A dungeon, sounds like a perfect way for us to quickly get some experience

Dimitri: Yeah, and with Myne's new equipment and us with our weapons it'll be a breeze.

Naofumi: Thank you Myne, you have a wealth of knowledge.

Myne: No problem. By the way sir heroes, we have all this wine here, aren't you three gonna drink some?

Dimitri: Sorry, but I'm not much into alcohol. But I think we should call it a night and get ready for tomorrow.

Ashton: Yeah, we have a long way to go.

We then see them going to inn rooms as we see Dimitri as he was putting his silver and armor into a box and placing it under a bed.

Dimitri: There, just to be safe.

Dimitri then laid down on the bed.

Dimitri: Man, what a day.

Dimitri then drifted off to sleep as the next day came as we see Dimitri getting up as he then went under the bed and pulled out the box and opened it to see his possessions were still there.

Dimitri: Phew, it's still there.

Dimitri then looked out to see carriages coming as Dimitri went to Ashton's room and knocked on the door as Ashton came out.

Ashton: What is it?

Dimitri: Have you looked out the window? Cause I saw what looked like an angry mob of guards.

Ashton: Ok, hold on D, we'll just explain to them that there is nothing wrong. I'm sure they'll listen.

Dimitri: We better get the others up too.

We then see them getting the others as they were at Myne's door as Dimitri was knocking on it.

Dimitri: Myne, are you there? Open up.

They then looked to see guards coming to them.

Ashton: Hey wait a minute there's gotta be an explanation for this.

Then the guards grabbed Dimitri, Ashton and Naofumi as they were being brought to the castle as they were seen on the floor.

Ashton: What's going on here?

Dimitri: Why are we even here? We didn't do anything wrong.

They then looked to see Myne who was with Motoyasu.

Ashton: What is this?

Myne: There they are, they are the rapists!

Dimitri: Wait what?! We didn't do anything! We were only in our rooms.

Ashton then threw a smoke bomb as the smoke cleared to see the three were gone as we see them outside the castle.

Ashton: We can't travel with our entire parties, we'll have to grab a couple of the best.

Dimitri: Right.

Ashton: I'll go grab Carmelita, Esdeath, and Bellatrix and meet you at the blacksmith's shop.

Dimitri: Right, I'll get Jess, Asuka, and Yang.

Ashton: Remember, stay out of sight.

Dimitri: Got it.

We later see Ashton arriving at the weapons shop with Carmelita, Esdeath and Bellatrix as he sees Dimitri along with Jessica, Asuka, Yang and Naofumi.

Ashton: Good, we're all here.

Dimitri: This has just been great, one day we have gone from knights to criminals.

Ashton: And ladies sorry we both had to only get three of you each here but we felt that all of you would draw too much attention before we clear our names.

Dimitri: And I have a feeling that not only will the kingdom be against us but also the country

Ashton: So a new plan, we need to try to level up as much as possible and try to stop the waves.

Dimitri: Right, so we need to gear up and head out as quickly as possible.

Ashton: Exactly, we have a long journey ahead. So we'll need to stock up on food, a couple of tents, and water.

Dimitri: Alright. (looks out the window) So far the area is all clear.

Erhard: Hold on. You might need these.

Erhard then handed them cloaks with hoods and held up an outfit for Naofumi.

Erhard: These cloaks have a special magic that can conceal your face by making it look like someone else's. And this is for the Shield hero.

Ashton: Thanks, we'll be sure to come back when the heat is off.

We then see them walking out of the shop wearing the cloaks as we see them heading to the gate.

Ashton: Wait, we need food, shelter, and water first.

Dimitri: Right, let's make sure no one follows us

Bellatrix: I'm on it.

We then see them going to a food shop as we see Ashton purchasing a crate of food and water

Ashton: Food and water check.

Dimitri: Next up is shelter.

We then see them going to a tent shop as they then see Patrick come out and trip on the ground.

Ashton: (Deadpans) Classic big pink loser.

Dimitri: Just act natural.

We then see them walk past Patrick.

Dimitri: (Deep voice) Mornin.

Patrick: Hi

They then walked inside the shop.

Ashton: I am surprised that voice actually worked. But then again it's Patrick.

Dimitri: Yeah, and in honesty that voice got me fired in voice acting

Ashton then purchased a couple of tents as we see them walking by as Patrick sees them.

Patrick: Hey, hold on.

They then froze as Patrick came to them.

Patrick: You dropped something. (holds up a fire starting kit)

Ashton: Oh uh... Thank you. Have a good rest of your day.

We then see them walking to the gates as they were seen walking off.

Asuka: I don't get it, why are we hiding?

Dimitri: Cause if anyone sees us, they're gonna know something is up.

Ashton: Dimitri, Naofumi, and I have been framed for rape and assault

Dimitri: Exactly, so we just need to find out how to prove our innocence, we just need to lay low until then.

Naofumi: Come on, let's get going.

We later see them walking through a forest.

Dimitri: I heard of rumors that there is a dungeon somewhere in these woods.

Ashton: That should give us an opportunity to level up.

We then see them arriving at a cave as they then went inside as they were walking through the cave as they then heard growling and sounded like fighting.

Ashton: Wait, seems like someone got here before we did.

Dimitri: We better check it out.

We then see them going to where the sound was coming from as they looked to see was a humanoid yellow fox along with a red dragon with a crest on its head looking a bit like a V wielding a microphone as it was seen trying to hold its ground as they were both facing a werewolf and were in a corner.

Dimitri: We better help them.

We then see a rock was thrown at the werewolf hitting it on the head as it turns to see Dimitri and Ashton.

Ashton: Hey furball, over here!

Dimitri: Try picking on someone your own size.

The werewolf then turned to them and then roared as it charged at them as Ashton then got out his staff and whacked the werewolf's face as Dimitri then slashed its chest making it stagger back as Ashton used his staff and hit its feet making it fall on the ground as Dimitri then came down and swung his scythe downwards the werewolf slicing it in half.

Dimitri: Monster vanquished. (Puts the fragments of the werewolf in his scythe)

Dimitri then saw the red dragon was looking at him and Ashton.

Shoutmon: A scythe and staff. The legends are true. You're both the cardinal knights.

Ashton: Yeah, and you are.

Shoutmon: The name's Shoutmon, and I plan to be the digimon king.

Ashton: That's nice. (to Renamon) And you are?

Renamon: I am Renamon.

Ashton: A pleasure my dear lady.

Dimitri: But what were you two doing in here?

Renamon: We thought we could get stronger if we faced a powerful beast but we underestimated it.

Ashton: Well I think you both should get stronger by training with your own friends.

Ashton and the others then started to walk away.

Shoutmon: But we don't have any friends, and we are not going out there by ourselves. Oh, we can stay with you guys.

Ashton: If you want to stay with us there will be ground rules got it?

Shoutmon: Got it.

Ashton: For starters, do not I repeat do not touch my staff

Shoutmon: Noted.

Ashton: Next if you two are gonna be with us you both are not allowed to tell any guards or police personnel except for Carmelita where we are unless they are approved by her.

Shoutmon: Why's that?

Ashton: Let's just say that something had made us into outcasts to the rest of the country.

Renamon: What happened?

Dimitri: We were both framed for something we didn't do.

Ashton: And I would bet it was that Myne lady. I knew there was something off with her!

Dimitri: The sooner we get the country's respect back, the sooner you can have your revenge on her.

Ashton: Yeah, so right now we just got to keep our heads down.

Esdeath: So, we better find a place to camp for the night.

Shoutmon: I know a place for you.

Ashton: You do?

We later see them following Shoutmon as they were seen going to an old castle.

Ashton: A spooky castle?

Shoutmon: Yeah, we both hang out here, and nobody would ever think to come here.

Ashton: Any port in a storm as the saying goes. Let's get inside and find some bedrooms.

We then see them going into the castle as Dimitri was looking at the castle.

Dimitri: You know, there's something... familiar...

We then see them go inside as we see them going to their rooms.

Dimitri: Guess we can rest here until then.

Dimitri then laid down on a bed and then went to sleep.
