In the world of Atmos, a group of young Sky Knights band together to form the Storm Hawks to fight against the evil Cyclonian Empire. During their many adventures, the Storm Hawks battled against the Cyclonian Empire across the entire Atmos. Their countless battles lead to a final battle against Master Cyclonis, leader of the Cyclonian Empire. Utilizing energy from the mysterious Far Side, the Cyclonian Empire launches an all out assault on Atmos. One by one, the Free Terras of Atmos fall before the empowered Cyclonian Empire. But in the face of this new threat, the Storm Hawks fight the Cyclonians. In an attempt to draw out the Storm Hawks, Master Cyclonis targets Terra Atmosia and threatens to destroy it unless the Storm Hawks surrender. During all this, Piper becomes weakened when she discovers her ability to tap into the Binding, a mysterious power connected to the Crystals. Fearing being corrupted by it, Piper refuses to use it, but this leaves her in a weakened and frail condition. The Storm Hawks seemed to accept Master Cyclonis's offer, but turns out to be a ploy to reach the Crystal Prison, which Aerrow shatters with help from Piper. The newly freed Sky Knights attempt to shoot down Cyclonia with stolen Skimmers, but cannot penetrate the shielding on the levitation pontoons. In that moment, an intense battle broke out as the Sky Knights mount an attempt to defeat the Cyclonians. As the Storm Hawks split up, the Storm Hawks split up. Finn and Junko along with Radarr stay with Stork on the Condor. Immediately, they come under attack by the empowered Nightcrawlers.

Finn: Nightcrawler in the Condor! Coming this way!

Stork: You let one of those things onto my ship?!

As Stork says this, a squadron of Nightcrawlers breach the Condor's bridge. Junko charges at them, but was knocked back. Finn fires his Energy Crossbow at them, but one of the Nightcrawlers conjures an Energy Snake to knock the Crossbow out of Finn's hands. In a last ditch effort, Stork throws an airhorn, but the Energy Snake devours it. When it attacks Radarr, the Energy Snake sneezes and retreats back into the Nightcrawler.

Stork: It's allergic... to Radarr!

Finn: How can a crystal have allergies?

Stork: WHO CARES?!?

With that, Finn and Junko along with Stork and Radarr utilized Radarr's fur to fight back the Nightcrawlers. During this, Aerrow and Piper face Master Cyclonis and Dark Ace. They were quickly overwhelmed as Master Cyclonis uses the Binding to empower Dark Ace. Piper attempts to use the Binding, but was seemingly too weak to do so. Master Cyclonis laughs.

Master Cyclonis: You lasted longer than I thought! I'll miss our little get togethers. Finish them, Dark Ace.

Dark Ace: That will be my pleasure.

Piper then looks up to Aerrow as her condition worsens.

Piper: Aerrow....I'm so sorry....

Aerrow: If we gotta go down, at least we're going down together.

This level of trust between the two causes a Binding phenomena know as 'Perfect Attunement' to occur, resulting in Binding energy flowing from Aerrow and into Piper, restoring her health and empowering them both.

Aerrow: What...what happened?!

Piper: I have no idea!

Dark Ace: I thought you said this was over!

Master Cyclonis: This is not supposed to happen! Only Perfect Attunement can make the binding flow both ways!

Piper: Guess you aren't the master of everything, Cyclonis!

With that, the tide had been turned. Utilizing Perfect Attunement, Aerrow and Piper pressed the attack against Master Cyclonis and Dark Ace. Unable to defeat them with her ordinary skills, Master Cyclonis draws power from her Far Side Crystal to empower the Dark Ace. Back on the Condor, Finn and Junko utilized Radarr's fur to attack the Nightcrawlers.

Junko: It's working!

Finn: I should say we should've thought of this a long time ago, but who would've thought of this?

Meanwhile, Stork was frantically trying to keep the Condor steady.

Stork: I cannot pilot the Condor with these insufferable conditions! Why is it that every time we get ourselves into these situations, we're always close to our doom?! This is insane!

Back in the palace, Aerrow and Piper clashed against Master Cyclonis and Dark Ace. As the fight dragged on, Master Cyclonis continues to draw power from the Far Side Crystal to empower Dark Ace.

Dark Ace: MORE! MORE!

As Master Cyclonis continued to empower Dark Ace, Piper could see that something was wrong.

Piper: Cyclonis! Stop!

Piper's warnings fall on deaf ears as Master Cyclonis continues empowering Dark Ace. This eventually destroys Dark Ace in a power explosion of energy which destroys the Far Side Crystal. When the Far Side Crystal was destroyed, Finn and Junko were able to destroy the pontoons, disabling Terra Cyclonia. Left with no other choice, Master Cyclonis retreats with Aerrow and Piper chasing after her. When she reaches the Far Side Door, Aerrow and Piper corner her.

Aerrow: Cyclonis! You're not getting away this time!

Master Cyclonis: Then come and get me.

Master Cyclonis then escapes through the door to the Far Side. It wasn't long before the Condor arrived.

Finn: Thought you two might need a lift!

Aerrow: No matter where Cyclonis is, she's still a threat! And it's the Storm Hawks's sworn duty to go after her.

Stork: Um....I really don't think the Condor is going to fit.

Piper: Oh it'll fit. Trust me.

Piper then pulls out a Crystal and uses her Binding Powers to expand the doorway. Once the doorway was big enough, the Storm Hawks fly the Condor through the doorway. When they arrived at the Far Side, they found a single city built in a mountainous terrain that features a tall tower that illuminates the area in green light. The Storm Hawks gaze in awe at the vast landscape that looks significantly different from anything they've ever seen before. Aerrow smiles to his teammates.

Aerrow: This is gonna be fun.

As the Storm Hawks prepared for the next step in their journey, Piper saw a vision of a a middle-aged man with tousled silver hair and thin brown eyes. He has a light complexion and sharp facial features. He wears shaded glass spectacles and a small, purple, cross-shaped pin on the cowl around his neck. His outfit mainly consists of an unzipped black suit over a dark green, buttoned vest and green shirt. He also wears black trouser shoes and long, dark-green pants. He is seen holding a cane.

???: Storm Hawks...

As the voice spoke to her, Piper dropped to her knees.

Aerrow: What's wrong?

Piper: I...I had a vision. I....I saw a man....

Suddenly, time froze around the Storm Hawks. Confused, the Storm Hawks attempt to piece together what was going on when suddenly, an apparition of the Bendu's face appears.

Bendu: Aerrow, Piper, Finn, Junko, Stork, Radarr. The Storm Hawks. Sky Knights of Atmos. You have been chosen.....

Before the Storm Hawks could say anything, they were teleported off of Atmos into an unknown destination. In that moment, the Storm Hawks were chosen.
