3rd Person POV

Our heroes are on their ships heading back to Bigge to see to the wounded and celebrate a hard fought victory. King (Y/n) is standing at the helm of the flagship when he feels a presence behind him, he turns his head and Ruby stands by his side and takes his hand in hers. The pair smile at each other then look back out the window.

(Y/n): Things will change after this.

Ruby: One things for sure though, the Grimm are still going to be a threat.

(Y/n): But we'll face that problem later. Tonight we shall celebrate those who fell in battle.

Ruby turns (Y/n)'s face to hers and the pair share a kiss, the kingdom of Bigge then came into view and the pair looked to see all the villagers gathered near the docks in happy anticipation. As the ships land and the hanger opens up, the crowd roars in excitement and praise, King (Y/n) then raises his hand and calms the crowd.

(Y/n): The war is over! We are victorious!

Crowd: *CHEERS*

(Y/n): But, the real heroes are the Huntresses of Team RWBY!

The crowd cheers again as Team RWBY depart from the ship and they all are little overwhelmed by the chorus of cheers and praise. The army disembarks and reunite with their families, (Y/n) and Ruby went around and gave their condolences to every single family of the fallen soldiers who fought so bravely. (Y/n) then gave his castle staff orders to prepare the castle for celebration, for tonight the town feasts in victory over the evil of the Grimm. (Y/n) also ordered Paul to transport Salem's inner circle to special dungeon cells in the catacombs, some were misguided and would need serious help to forgive and forget but (Y/n) was willing to try. Later that night, everyone who took part in the battle are gathered in the Banquet Hall of the castle conversing with one another and everyone has a mug of ale in hand. (Y/n) then rises from his chair, the crowd takes notice and rise from their chairs as well, (Y/n) then raises his mug and proclaims.

(Y/n): Tonight, we remember those who gave their blood to defend this world. Hail the victorious dead!

Everyone: Hail!

Everyone downs their mugs of ale and the celebration gets underway, the food is served and casks of drink are brought out. Ruby is wandering around and looks at her friends as they celebrate. Blake and Yang are talking with Tai and Ghira about their future relationship, Ren is once again trying to restrain Nora from going overboard and starting a bar fight, Jaune is fending off anyone who seems to displease Weiss and Ruby could've sworn Weiss was blushing at Jaune's efforts, finally. Qrow is in a drinking contest with some other knights, but Ruby decides to let it slide tonight. Raven even made an appearance, which surprised everyone except (Y/n) because he asked her here. Raven and Yang were at first at odds because of what happened at Haven, but soon with a little help from their family the two decided to try and start over, we'll see what happens I guess. Ruby then bumps into someone and before falling that someone caught her, she looked up and saw (Y/n) smiling.

(Y/n): Well, this is strangely familiar, huh?

Ruby: *blushes and giggles* Sorry.

Ruby then gives (Y/n) a quick kiss and the two spend the rest of the evening together.

Timeskip 1 Year Later

Ruby POV

Everyone went back to their homes, except me, I decided to stay in Bigge with (Y/n) and our relationship has only gotten stronger. I have been taking Huntress missions and as well as helping (Y/n) with his kingly duties, but we would always find a way to spend time together. Today though (Y/n) and I are taking an entire day together and getting away from all the work after the world was finally rid of Salem. I had prepared lunch made up of sandwiches, various fruits and of course cookies, (Y/n) and I head to a hill with a single oak tree atop it and set up lunch. We spend an hour just talking and eating, (Y/n) then gains a nervous look and this confuses me.

Ruby: (Y/n), is everything alright?

(Y/n): Y-yeah, *deep breath* I guess, I just have a question for you. We've been together for some time and I didn't think you would stick around after all was said and done with Salem. But you stayed anyway, and my feeling for you have only grown. So, what I'm trying to say is, *pulls out a ring* will you marry me Ruby Rose?

I gasp in disbelief and quickly tackle (Y/n) onto the blanket and wrap my arms around his neck.

Ruby: YESYESYESYESYESYES!

(Y/n): Ruby *gasping for air* air.

Ruby: *lets go of (Y/n)* Sorry, yes of course I will!

With that decided, I started planning the wedding originally I didn't want it to be a big event but with (Y/n) being king I knew a small event was going to be an impossibility. 10 months later and the wedding is finally here and Weiss has once again insisted I wear lady ankle breakers and no cape but whatever. Blake and Yang are helping set up their adopted kids as flower girl and ring boy, oh their so cute. There is then a knock on the door and Yang answers it and Dad steps through and tells everyone that everything is ready, Weiss and the others leave and get ready to start, leaving just me and Dad.

Tai: I am so very proud of you my little rose. *starts tearing up*

Ruby: *hugs Tai* It's okay Dad.

Tai: I know, it's just seeing you grow from a little girl into a Huntress and now to a queen. I am so very happy for you and I know your mother is too.

I hug Dad one more time and we head towards the aisle, the ceremony starts and I start walking down the aisle towards the altar and see (Y/n) standing there in some ceremonial armor.

I get to the altar and Dad hands me off to (Y/n) and the pastor begins.

Pastor: Ruby Rose. Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?

Ruby: I do. Now and forever.

Pastor: King (Y/n) (L/n). Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?

(Y/n): I do. Now and Forever.

Pastor: Then by the power vested in me, I pronounce this couple Husband and wife. You may-

I don't even give the pastor a chance to finish and just pull (Y/n) into a kiss and the crowd roars in excitement. We separate and look into each others eyes and smile and I actually tear up a little that this is actually happening. (Y/n) and I walk back down the aisle and everyone heads to the banquet hall to start the reception, (Y/n) actually let me change my shoes because they were killing my feet. The reception is well underway and everyone is just laughing having a good time, then a slow song starts and (Y/n) stands up and takes my hand.

(Y/n): May I have this dance, my Queen.

Ruby: *giggles* Of course, my King.

We head out to the dance floor and start slowly dancing to the music. All the while we just stare into each others eyes and we say something that is never gonna get old anytime.

(Y/n): I love Ruby (L/n).

Ruby: I love you too, (Y/n) (L/n).

Our lips then connect into a passionate kiss while the music continues playing, ready for whatever the future holds for us next.

Timeskip 7 Years Later

I slowly wake up one morning still cuddled up to my handsome husband until the door to the bedroom opens and suddenly a little someone is jumping on (Y/n).

Arthur: Dad we gotta go, wake up! Dad? Dad! Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad!

Ruby: *grumbles* (Y/n), your son is awake.

(Y/n): *trying to wake up* Before sunrise, he's your son.

Arthur: Come on Dad. You said I could patrol with you today, you promised.

(Y/n) finally forces himself up and yawns, gets out of bed and gets his armor on and my two favorite men walk out of the room and Annabelle walks in. I get up and stretch then head to the shower and get cleaned up, when I come back Annabelle has a my Huntress outfit picked out. As I get dressed I notice that my outfit is a little tighter on me than yesterday, probably from eating one too many cookies. I am dressed and head down to the kitchen and suddenly get a craving for pancakes and that's exactly what I make.

Annabelle: A little strange you're having pancakes isn't it your majesty?

Ruby: I don't know I just had a craving for it. Not sure why.

Annabelle: Hmm, it couldn't be.

Ruby: What?

Timeskip 1 Hour Later

(Y/n) and Arthur return and join me as I finish making breakfast, we sit down and Arthur start talking about all they saw on patrol today and (Y/n) notices I have a really big smile on my face.

(Y/n): What's got you all excited, Ruby?

Ruby: Well, Arthur, how do feel about a little brother or sister?

Arthur: Oh I would love a brother or sister!

(Y/n): Wait, Ruby, are you-

Ruby: *shaking her head yes* Yes, our family is about to get a little better.

(Y/n) and Arthur both get up and give a family group hug and (Y/n) gives me a kiss which Arthur is quick to be grossed out about. But I didn't care I was pregnant again and (Y/n) and I couldn't be happier about it.
