(Y/N) POV

I stand outside the church ready for anything. This should be quick....but you never know.

The sky is dark already, it masks my presence as I overlook Saber, Irisveil, and Maiya walk into the church. It took me a while to convince Lisa to stay at the house. She wanted to come so badly.

I wait for 5 minutes until they reappear. Saber gets on a motorcycle and the two ladies get in the car. While Saber speeds ahead, the car doesn't move. I focus on Irisviel and see she is leaning on Maiya...she looks rather exhausted.

Finally, they start moving and so do I. Recently, I've had a hard time entering spirit form. I can't become invisible even if I wanted to. Saber is the same in that regard.

I return to the house and see both the car and the Bike.

"Appears everyone made it back," I say as I suddenly get a gut-wrenching feeling. I clench my stomach as I look at the direction I just came from....the direction of my feeling. The feeling goes away as soon as it appeared

"Someone just died," I mutter as I continue. Who? I don't believe it was one of my allies....so who?

I think about as I enter the house.

"Your back," Lisa says greeting me instantly

"Yes, indeed," I say

"Couldn't you teleport back or something?" She asks

"No, I can't take on my spirit form anymore, and I'm not sure I could even if I did," I tell her

"Hmm, strange," she says

"Agreed," I mutter as I notice dark bags under her eyes

"It's midnight, you should go to bed," I say as I led her to the room we use

"Yea, yea, I was just making sure you got back," She says

"I can take care of myself you know," I tell her

"I've heard that before," she says quietly as we reach the room. She gets in bed and closes her eyes. I look around for stuff to make my bed. I couldn't find much so I wondered Into the shed out back to hopefully find something.

When I entered, I was surprised to see someone lying on the ground

"(Y/N) what brings you in at this hour?" Irisveil asks

"I'm looking for bed stuff, I can't dematerialize for some reason," I say looking at the white-haired woman as she lays down in the middle of a magic circle

"You've come to the right place," She says as she explains where they are

"Thank you, would you like one as well? The floor looks cold," I ask not poking into the reason why she is out here in the first place

"Thank you for the offer but I will refuse," She says

"You sure?" I ask as she nods

"So what are you doing out here anyway?" I ask as my curiosity gets the better of me. That, and I can sense she is weak...her presence seems to be slipping away

"I take it you noticed?" She asks as I nod

"Saber hasn't, at least I don't think," She says

"No, I don't think so," I mutter

"Hmm, well you see, I'm the vessel for the holy grail, so has the battle comes to a close, I get weaker and weaker," She explains

"I see, so this war is coming to a close?" I ask

"Yep,"

"It doesn't feel like we've been here for long," I say as I think about it. Time sure flies

"Haha, yes," She says bittersweetly

"You know, I have a daughter, and I wish she doesn't have to go through this in her life," She says reminiscing

"Oh, you and Kiritsugu?" I ask as she nods

"Man do I wish I could see her one last time," She says with tears in her eyes

"I wish I could fulfil your wish. I can heal most things except for curses...and sadly your situation I can't either," I say as I feel bad for the lady

"It's quite alright. I've already accepted it," She says

"Continue, I didn't mean to keep you," She says as I leave

I enter the room and make my bed. I slowly lower myself in it once it's made.

Past

I look toward the massive army before me. I then look behind me at Camelot.

"I'm sorry my King...I'm afraid this will be the last day I'll be defending the kingdom," I say to the heavens as I look in the sky

"We shall meet again...it's only been 2 days...and armies are already moving in to steal the kingdom you have sworn to protect," I say as I once again look at the army that easily outnumbers us by 10 fold

"I'll tell you this much...the kingdom will stand today," I say as I raise my swords

"Knights of the round table! Stand Back!" I yell as they look at me with wonder

As my sword is pointing in the air. I grab it with two hands. When I do, the blue skies became thunderheads in an instant. And the tip of my sword shines brightly as I lower it.

"Die," I mutter as the whole area before me gets vaporized. The sky returns to the colour blue. And everyone is looking at me. I know those looks...the faces of fear...terror...the feeling of hopeless. Before I knew it, I was wrestled to the ground

"You have too much power...only the king may process a great power...and you are not the king," A Knight says as I watch a sword lower itself on me

Present

I wake up in a cold sweat. I have goosebumps all up my arms as I rub them. I remember my death well. People are scared of those who can't be defeated

My people made a quick decision as to what they wanted to do, and that meant death to me.

"So that's how you died," Lisa says as I see two eyes looking at me through the darkness

"Yes," I mutter

"It's a shame people don't change...we haven't changed a bit," She says

"Perhaps most. But there are always some who are different," I say

"Yea, so I'm guessing that's why you didn't use your ability much in life?" She asks

"Yes, I knew others seeing it would lead me to my death," I mutter

"And you did it anyway," Lisa points out

"Yea, I'm aware," I say

"Well, you know my past, perhaps you shall tell me some of yours?" I ask as she snorts

"If you want some, just poke around my brain as I did with you," she says

"Unfair," I mutter as we both go to sleep
