Kanna gets up and runs to kathir...

They come closer to their sitting place and see the chess board and coins arranged on it...

Ka : ( pulling kathir's hands)

Meena, mullai and lakshmi laughs at her question sarcastically...

D : mulla... ketiya... romba panranga..namma tha jeikarom.. adu ne...

Me : aamanga ice cream namaku than...

Kathir sees mullai with a smile and twist in eye brows..

K mindvoice : vilaiyadalama...

She returns the smile and twist...

M mindvoice : na ready....

Moorthy, jeeva, dhanam and Lakshmi who doesnt know the game sit and watch whats going on..

Kathir and kanna in one team and mullai and meena in another team...

The game starts...

Kathir strikes mullai's bishop first ...

Me : enanga pakalaiya...

M : aiyayo illanga...

Ka : nanga tha intha thadavai.. nalla pathukonga..

Game continues with different strikes and progressions...

Both kathir and mullai are so fiery in winning moving each coin very carefully...
Inspite of the game, they cant help peeping and smiling at each other....

Only a few moves left with only few coins on both sides...

The curiosity mounted for each and every move...

Kathir moved his queen...

Mullai's eye brows twisted with the move...

Then she striked his queen with her knight...
That was a significant move of the game...

Me : eh.... super mulla... ( meena cheers up)

Ka : anne ena ne... ipadi panita... gavanikalaiya... una poi vilaiyada sonen paru...

Game resumes with crucial moves on both sides each losing important coins...

Atlast,

Mullai places her queen blocking his king with support of her rook....

Mullai grins at kathir widely whereas could see kathir looks like he is disappointed but his eyes are gleaming in happiness and pride...

Me : hey ..... enga rani ah vechu unga raja ah madakitom paathengala...

Both smiling widely too...

Mullai is blushing and pointing her fingers at kathir...

Kathir has no idea what to react and started ruffling his hair..
