There are some thoughts I push away

thoughts that make me

terrified, ashamed and worried

because I don't want things to change

I shouldn't be ashamed of thoughts

because they are just thoughts

and there is nothing to be afraid of

I have to figure this out

on my own

because I am me and I am

brave and strong

I will be happy

I will be free in my mind

and I will be fully me
