"YyyaaaAAAHHH!!!" Lance whooped as he slid down the giant hill, the snow kicking up behind him as he slid down the slope. Aiming for the snow ramp that he and the others had crafted, Lance braced himself. With a burst of speed, the sled flew up the snow-ramp and Lance went flying.

Screaming, Lance let go of the sled and landed safely in a giant snow bank a few meters away. He groaned, digging himself out of the snow so that he could spectate from the bank as the rest of his friends slid down the hill on their sleds.

Hunk went first, taking the safe route down and rocketing down in a straight line, gradually slowing down until he stopped.

Pidge took the more daring side ramp, which sent her sled out to the left until she hit a rut and tumbled out of the sled, laughing.

Allura and Shiro were using an old toboggan, a risky move, and Lance had to jump out of the way as their sled whipped past him, the both of them screaming.

And last, but not least, Keith. He stood at the top of the hill clutching his sled nervously. He looked at the hill before him and seemed to shudder. Hunk and Pidge cheered him on enthusiastically, whooping like crazy, and Keith seemed to gain a little confidence.

Setting his sled down, he sat down and pushed forward. For a second, the sled teetered on the top of hill precariously, but then dropped and sent Keith hurtling down the slope. A high-pitched, terrified yell escaped from Keith's mouth as he rocketed down, the cold air flashing past him.

He saw his sled heading towards a large snow-ramp and nearly screamed, trying desperately to steer away from it, but it was no use. Keith's sled happily glided up the ramp, sending it and it's rider flying.

Keith landed safely in the snowbank, but not before taking down Lance with him.

The two boys hit the bank with a puff of snow and Lance's breath being knocked out of him with a loud "OOF!".

Keith slowly opened his eyes. All he saw was dark brown hair. Slowly lifting his face from the crook of Lance's neck, he watched in concern as Lance proceeded to have the world's longest coughing fit, filled with his cheeks turning brighter by the second and awkward 'ah, um's between his coughs.

The two ended up laughing their asses off once Lance had finally recovered.

hiiii it's me. i'm sorry that i haven't updated as regularly as i'd hoped to- it's only wednesday and i'm already dying. i've just been bogged down with a ton of work and practice is literally going to drive me insane. but hopefully, these chapters brighten up your day, even if they are a little short. side note- thank you so much for 1k on this already! ahh holy shit. y'all're the best <3 if you leave your favorite au in the comments (mermaid au, high school au, 80's au, etc.), i may use it in a chapter! okie i gotta go do my hw whoops. love you!
