After their first kiss, Keith announces "Arrange the marriage" the audience applauds but when Lance says "Wait" everything stops as Keith says "What? You're all I ever wanted. You're beautiful" Lance blushes and asks "Thank you...But what else?" Keith asks "What else?" Lance asks "Is beauty all that matters to you?" Alfor shakes his head as Krolia asks "Keith, what else?" but when Keith asks "I...uh...what else is there" Shiro facepalms and Allura whimpers as Lance feels heart broken. Alfor sighs "We tried, Krolia. No one can say we didn't try" Krolia agrees "I hope you're right" Allura says "Say "goodbye", Lance" Lance says "Goodbye" Alfor asks "Goodbye?" Lance replies "Prince Keith" Shiro elbows Keith who whines "Shiro" Shiro scolds "Keith" Keith groans "Goodbye, Prince Lance" and as Alfor, Allura and Lance leave, Shiro says "All these years of planning wasted" Krolia says "Don't worry Keith, you'll get a second chance"

In the castle 17 year old Hunk and 15 year old Pidge are playing chess while Coran scolds "What else is there? He says "Is beauty all that matters?" and you say "What else is there"?!" Keith sighs "It was dumb, I know" Hunk scoffs "You should write a book. "How To Offend Men And Women In Five Syllables Or Less" that could be entertaning. Your turn, Pidge" Keith says "I didn't know what else to say" Pidge smirks "You lost your queen" Keith agrees "That's twice in one day" Pidge says "I wasn't talking to you, Keith and you know what? Maybe if you said something better than "What else is there?", you wouldn't have made a fool out of yourself" Coran agrees "Think Keith, you must see something other than Lance's beauty" Keith scoffs "Of course I do, Coran. He's like, you know?...How about?....And then...I mean, right?" Coran, Pidge and Hunk just raise their eyebrows at him as Keith groans "I don't know how to say it" but he gets an idea and says "I'll prove it to him. I'll prove my love" Pidge moves her piece and smirks "Checkmate" Hunk groans "Oh man, I quit"

Meanwhile, in the forest, Lotor the son of Haggar and Zarkon watches Alfor's carriage arrive as he smirks "Today's the day, Alfor. Everything you own, everything you love will be mine" in the carriage, Alfor asks "Lance, I just don't understand. What else did you want him to say?" Lance replies "I need to know that he loves me for just being me" Allura says "You could've just said that to start with" the carriage stops all of a sudden and when Alfor sees Lotor, he turns to Allura and Lance and says "Stay inside, children" then Alfor and his soldiers watch Lotor transform into a monsterous creature as it attacks them

The captain of the gaurd arrives at Krolia's kingdom as Shiro, Keith, Hunk and Pidge arrive to help him while Shiro gasps "It's King Alfor's captain" Pidge asks "What happened to you?" the captain replies "We were attacked. A great animal" Hunk and Pidge shudder as Keith gasps "Lance" Keith runs to get his horse as Shiro cries "Keith, wait" but it was too late. Keith rides his horse the  carriage which was already broken but there was of trace of Lance anywhere or Allura. Keith sees the swan necklace and picks it up but sees King Alfor gasping, runs towards him and asks "King Alfor, who did this?" Alfor replies "It came so quickly. A great animal" Keith asks "Where's Lance?" Alfor gasps "Listen to me, Keith. It's not what it seems. It's not what it seems" 

Keith asks "What's not? Where's Lance? And Allura?" Alfor gasps "Lance, Allura...They're...gone" And as soon as Alfor dies in Keith's arms, Keith kneels down on the ground with tears in his eyes as he screams "LAAAANCE" and sobs regretting what he said to Lance and hoping praying that somehow Lance was still alive waiting for him
