The swan-shaped Lance wakes up and finds himself back on the lake as he hears Lotor ask "Awake at last, my love?" Lance sees Lotor standing in front of him as Lotor smirks "Did you really think you could fool me that easily? I think not" Lance growls "Your plan failed, Lotor. It's over" Lotor retorts "It's over when I say it's over and it will be over when I get rid of your meddling prince" Lance asks "Who do you think you are?" Lotor replies "My family was Zarkon and Haggar" Lance gasps "Zarkon and Haggar?!"

Meanwhile, Romelle, Allura, Keith, Shiro, Hunk and Pidge arrive at Swan Lake as Romelle says "There's the castle" but they see the Nagas and Allura groans "Snakes? Why did it have be snakes?" that's when the turtles arrive to fight the Nagas as Leo says "Keith, you and Shiro look for Lance. Romelle, see if you can find a way to break the spell. We'll handle the snakes" they all do so as Romelle goes inside the lab to find the spell and when Romelle reads the book, she says "There's still hope. Keith still has time to make the vow" but Allura asks "Do you think he still has the chance?" Romelle replies "We'll pray that he does"

Keith and Shiro behind the trees as they hear Lotor explain "My father lived in this very kingdom, not far from here, as Emperor with his wife Honerva, my mother but one day, the Royal Council, with whom my father served after years of loyal service evicted them. No one else would take them in because my mother was suspected of witchcraft but she schooled her husband well with the power of the Forbidden Arts. Under the disguise of Haggar, your father's advisor, my mother and father sought refuge and hid in the alchemy lab to reclaim their kingdom until the day you were born. My father was burned to the stake for treason and my mother was banished. But nine months later, she gave birth to me and I became her student until she revealed her true form to me"

 Lance asks "Honerva and Haggar are the same person?" Lotor replies "Yes! I still had her as my mother until, the day she died, she asked me to avenge her and my father" Lance asks "Avenge them?" Lotor angrily replies "Against King Alfor! Your father who showed my parents no mercy and left them for dead while he, his pregnant wife and girl child stole the kingdom that was theirs and theirs alone. I swore vengeance upon your father and used every lesson I learned with the Forbidden Arts. In order for my plan to be in motion, I conjured up a little accident giving me the opportunity to kidnap you and your sister" Keith and Shiro's eyes widen as Lotor explains "I wanted to turn her into a frog but everyone knows frogs are slimy and ugly. So I spared her but I turned you into a swan so no one, not even your precious Keith, will touch you again" 

Lance glares "Yes, you have everything now" Lotor yells "No Lance, you and your sister have! By your father's will! I get everything in the event of my victory" and when he says "Oh your father, by the way, sadly passed away. Quite recently" Lance gasps "You killed my father?!" Lotor explains "He brought it on herself for what he's done to my parents" Keith jumps from the bushes and says "So that's why you cursed Lance! So you could have him and his sister" Lotor growls "You should've left him to me when you had the chance" Shiro arrives and says "If you kill my brother, you'll have to kill me" Lotor smirks "I don't plan on doing that" Allura arrives and when she sees Lotor activating his powers, she yells "Look out"
