In Krolia's Kingdom, Keith still never forgot Lance even though he would never see him again. He was given countless princesses to be his bride but he rejected each and every one of them as they are nothing compared to Lance. These princesses only cared about how handsome and rich he was but Lance was different from them as he didn't care about wealth or beauty at all but still Keith missed Lance and Krolia knew her son would never be truly happy without him

Keith is staring at the sea at the balcony of his room as Krolia walks towards him and says "Keith, there's something troubling you. You haven't eaten in days and you barely slept" Keith says "I'm sorry, Mother. I just miss Lance. I know a prince must be married to a princess but Lance is different from the others. I know he's a unicorn but he doesn't care about wealth or how I look, he loves me for who I am the same way I love him" Krolia agrees "Now, I'm not gonna force you into marrying someone you don't love but you said yourself. Unicorns may go unrescued for a long time but not forever"

Meanwhile, in the forests, the unicorns were happy to be home again after years of being in the ocean but Lance still never forgot Keith and he still dreamt of him every night as one of the unicorns notice how sad he is and asks "What's the matter, Lance?" Lance replies "No unicorn was ever born who could regret but now I do. Forgive me, I'm no longer like the others" another unicorn says "We too regret for leaving you alone for so long. For no unicorn has faced the Red Lion the way you did and we regret being cowards" Lance asks "You're not angry?" another unicorn replies "No, you may have been mortal and some part of you is mortal yet but you are still and always will be one of us"

Lance smiles at the words said by his friends but is sad again as the other unicorn asks "You miss that young Prince, don't you?" Lance replies "I would've stayed but we are from two different worlds. He is a human and I'm a unicorn but I dream of him every night even when I'm awake. It is never finished" unicorn foals run toward him and ask "What did you dream about?" Lance replies "Well, let's see. I was in my human form and there he was. We danced in the ocean, he cradles me in his arms and then, I wake up" the foals sigh as Lance says "Yes, it's only in my dreams but Mother and Father always told me that if you dream a thing more than once, it's sure to come true and I've dreamed that dream so many times" another unicorn says "Your parents knew what it is like to love and even though they loved you as their son, they never stopped thinking about how happy they were" 

Lance agrees "I only wish him happiness. Let him marry a princess who could give him an heir, grow old with him and die when he dies" that's when another unicorn says "But you can" Lance asks "What?" another unicorn replies "You are one of the rare male unicorns who are born with the ability to bear a foal and when in human form, you can also bear a child" Lance asks "What do you mean "in human form"?" anothe unicorn replies "You can use your horn to change into any shape you wish whether you are human or animal" Lance asks "So, this means I can change into anything with my horn?" another unicorn replies "It may be your chance to see that Prince again if you miss him so" 

But another unicorn says "However, there is also something you should know" and when Lance asks "What is it?" another unicorn replies "If you marry the Prince, he will die when you die but you must go into the ocean where you will regain your immortality and become a unicorn once again and the Prince will be a unicorn as well as immortal" Lance asks "If Keith dies and becomes a unicorn after that? I won't miss him anymore?" another unicorn replies "No, you will not" Lance smiles and says "Thank you, friends" another unicorn says "But remember, if you wish to return to the forest, you must change yourself back into a unicorn that way you can come and visit us if you wish" Lance says "I will, I promise" Lance neighs as if saying goodbye while the other unicorns neigh as if saying goodbye back and Lance runs to reach Keith's kingdom to be reunited with the man he loves and loves him back hoping, praying that somehow they would see each other again
