A year passed and the couple still ended up together as Krolia gave them her blessings and was happy to know that her son has found his true love even though Lance is no longer a unicorn, she still didn't care and she never felt sad again for a long time ever again while Lance met Romelle and Allura again, they were surprised to see him human again as he explained that he used his horn to change his shape willingly so the two young women were all right with it and Romelle promised to never use her magic on him ever again

Lance watches the ocean that no longer has the other unicorns as he sees something flying towards him and when he stands without fear, he only sees Shiro the oni whom Lance freed a year ago when Lance was a unicorn Lance backs away as Shiro lands softly on the ground and Lance asks "Are you here to kill me?" Shiro replies "No, I wanna thank you for saving me. I know I should've but I was blinded by rage that I had to wait" Lance says "You deserved to be free as did any other animal and I don't deserve your gratitude" but Lance asks "How did you know where to find me?" Shiro replies "I recognized your scent in the castle even though you've changed"

Lance says "I am human now and in love with a Prince who loves me for who I am whether I am a unicorn or human" Shiro says "I hope you two find happiness and I wish you good luck" Shiro flies away to return to his homeland as Lance watches Shiro leave but doesn't notice Keith hugging him from behind as Keith asks "Who were you talking to while I was gone?" Lance replies "An Oni I freed when I was a unicorn. I met him in a circus where we were both caged by a witch who can use magic to create illusions, deceptions and mirages so I let him go and freed other animals the witch kidnapped"

Keith says "If I had seen you in a cage, I would've come and rescued you sooner" Lance giggles "You would've mistaken me for a white mare if you saw me" Keith chuckles "But I didn't when I saw you change back into a unicorn" Lance smiles and says "And not a moment too soon" but when Keith says "Lance, I wanna ask you something" Lance asks "What is it, Keith?" Keith replies "I wanted to ask you in case I would see you again and now that you're here, I feel like I wanna do this now" and when Lance says "Ask me anything"

Keith gets down on one knee and asks "Lance, from the moment I met you, I never felt this way around anyone before and I've had princesses as my suitors but they were nothing compared to you. You are not only kind, wise, beautiful and honest but you also have a pure heart and soul that can never be taken even by the Red Lion or Lotor and I couldn't help but fall in love with you ever since. I didn't even know you were a unicorn until now but no matter what you look like or what your name is, I love you anyway because you're as human as anyone to me. I know I'm not good with words but you told me to let my conscious be my guide and guess what? I did and it told me to follow my heart and that I wanna start a future with you" and when Keith asks "So Lance...Will you be my Queen and marry me?" Lance feels tears of joy pour out of his eyes as he sobs "Yes! Yes! I will marry you, Keith" they kiss passionately under the stars as if they're  cheering for the newlyweds

During the wedding, Keith and Lance celebrate their wedding in the forest with. Krolia, the other unicorns, Romelle, Allura, Pidge the cat and Shiro even though Lance is human during the wedding, he was still welcome in the forest no matter what he looks like and as the couple share their first kiss as husband and wife, the crowd applauds as Lance transforms back into a unicorn with his horn and Keith rides on him back to the castle where they celebrate their first night as husband and wife
