Romelle says "Let's go" Krolia turns to Lance and says "Lance, it's time. We're gonna find the others now" Krolia, Romelle, Allura and Lance run as Bob's eyes glow red and says "Oh no, you don't! Not that one" Bob sees through Lance's disguise and yells "UNICORN! LOTOR! THERE THEY ARE DOWN TO THE RED LION! THE CLOCK, LOTOR! THERE HE GOES!" Lotor runs down the stairs as Romelle, Allura, Krolia and Lance see the clock and Romelle says " Go on, go on through" They do so as they enter inside the clock and Allura says "It worked" Lance sees Keith and gasps "Prince Keith" Keith asks "You would've gone without me?" Lance replies "I would've come back. I don't know why I'm here or who I am but I would've come back" Keith says "No, you would never have come back"

Romelle asks "Never mind all that! How did you know how to get here?" Keith replies "What is there to know? I saw where he had gone and I followed" Krolia agrees "It's as if true love guided you to Lance" Meanwhile, Lotor sees the clock, draws his sword and yells "You'll not escape me this time! I will have you" Lotor destroys the clock with his sword back away as it falls to the ground while Romelle, Allura, Krolia, Keith and Lance find themselves in a cave as Romelle gasps "Lotor has destroyed the clock. Now there's no way back and no way out but through the Red Lion's passage" and when Keith asks "What is going on here?" Allura replies "We're on a quest to find the other unicorns Lotor imprisoned" Keith gasps "I don't believe it" 

Romelle explains "You better believe it! I met a unicorn in the circus I used to work in so I helped him escape and in return he let me join him on his quest to find what's become of the other unicorns" Allura agrees "Then Romelle got kidnapped by Captain James and his gang, tied up to a tree which she brought to life by magic and found me. I recognized the unicorn and helped them find the others" Romelle explains "But when we reached the castle, the Red Lion found us until I cast a spell to conceal the unicorn and the rest you know. We came here seeking unicorns and we have possibly found them at last"

Keith says "I used to have a dream over and over about standing at my window in the middle of the night and seeing the Red Lion" Romelle agrees "Yes, the Red Lion driving unicorns into the sea. It was no dream. Lotor has them all now drifitng in and out on the tides for his delight. All but one. That one is the Lord Lance" Keith is surprised to hear that Lance, the man he fell in love with, was actually the last unicorn in disguise. He was told by his mother about unicorns and when he says "Unicorn, mermaid, wizard. No name you would give him would surprise or frighten me. I love whom I love" Romelle says "Well, that's a very nice sentiment but when I change him back into his true self" Keith repeats "I love whom I love"

That's when Lance says "I heard what you said, I will go no further" Romelle says "There's no choice, we have to go on" Lance turns to Keith and begs "Don't let her change me! The Red Lion has no care for human beings, we may walk out past him and get away" Romelle argues "If we do that, all of the unicorns of the world will remain prisoners forever except one and he will grow old and die" Lance retorts "Everything dies! I want to die when you die! I'm no unicorn, no magical creature. I'm human and I love you. Don't let her, Keith! I will not love you when I'm a unicorn" Keith embraces Lance and says "Lance, don't"

Romelle yells "Then let the quest end here! I don't think I can change you back even if you wished it. Marry the prince and live happily ever after" Lance says "Yes, that is my wish" Keith says "No My Lord, I'm no hero but heroes know that things must happen when it is time for them to happen and a quest may not simply be abandoned. Unicorns may go unrescued for a long time but not forever. The happy ending can't come in the middle of the story" Allura asks "But if there isn't a happy ending at all?" Romelle replies "There no happy endings because nothing ends" Krolia says "Romelle, let Lance stay the way he is, let him be" Romelle argues "That's not in the story, Krolia. Your son knows that and so does Lance" Allura retorts "You don't care! You don't care what happens to him or to the others just so you become a real sorceress at last" Romelle argues "Well, I wish I didn't! I wish to God I didn't care about anything but my magic but I do"
