When Keith awoke from his short slumber, they had arrived at the Altean Castle.

Keith stared in awe at the huge turrets, which weren't much taller than the ones at home really, and grand gardens.

"Are you sure this is the right castle?" Keith asked, a little breathless.

" Yes, sir. " said the driver- Matt.

"Shiro!" Keith yelled suddenly.

Shiro's head whipped round from where he was obviously staring at a nearby servant who was trimming the hedges.

"Ah! Yes, um, I was just-"

He was cut off by the grand entrance doors opening loudly.

Lance had just finished getting dressed in fresh, ironed, blue and silver robes when there was a knock on his chambers door. When he opened it he saw his personal maid, probably here to fix his hair, or something.

"Good afternoon, sir!" She said in an obviously fake happy voice.

" Hey pidge, " he said casually.

"Big day today, huh" she said, relaxing as she picked up a hairbrush.

"Apparently. No one has told me why though! All they say is 'there's a prince coming ' but I've met loads of royalty and it's never this big a deal." He said, slumping in his chair .

"Wait. No one told you who's coming!?" He shook his head. " it's the heir of Garrasonia! Prince Keith! " she explained, throwing her hands up.

"Oh. Ok." He replied.

'omg!' Pidge thought, 'one day this boy will realize how queer he is and how their siblings are obviously trying to pair them up. "

But for now she just brushed his hair, positioned his crown on his head and straightened his robes.

She left and headed to the gardens, where the palace gardener- Adam, was teaching his apprentice - hunk.

"Here, Adam, I'll take him off your hands so you can get finished up." Pidge offered .

After he (rather hastily) agreed, Pidge took Hunk who was only 1 year younger than her (1 year older than the prince) inside to relax in the maids quarters. She learned the young boy actually wanted to be a cook but wasn't old enough, she promised him that she'd help and the two became fast friends.

Meanwhile Adam was almost finished the hedges when a fancy car drove through the gates. In the front seat was a familiar (and rather handsome) man.
