Keith is 20 and was leaving his home to move into his dorm for Voltron University. He was already on the road with his things and studies. Keith is studying for a engineers degree and he owns a motorcycle that he made but still needs some parts. He worked at a coffee shop for a short while but then was looking for other jobs that included his hobby. All of those jobs required a degree so here he is. "I don't know Keith. Are you sure your Okay with going to college?" Asked Shiro. "Don't worry I'll be fine and I'll visit sometimes." Keith replied looking at his worried brother. "Okay but you will call and text often right?" "Yes Shiro." "Don't do any drugs okay?" "Yes Shiro." "And-" "Shiro. You're acting like a mom. You're supposed to be my brother." "Okay Okay I got the message." Shiro laughed a little. Keith really wasn't sure about this new change but Yolo.

~With Lance~

Lance is also 20 had already left home 2 years ago but still visits. He lived with hunk and is now going to that same school but is training for a Astronaut degree. Lance has loved space and wants to go up here to see the stars and new worlds that haven't been discovered yet. He's always been a curious child who loves doing new things. But yet is scared on what comes next. "You're going to be fine okay? Voltron isn't a bad school." said Hunk while looking at the road. Hunk was also going to Voltron except he was also in engineering. "Just you see Lance." Lance nodded and looked out the window. "I hope so.." Lance says looking at the other cars pass by in the other direction.

~Later At Voltron~

Keith has already gone in his dorm and was starting to organize his things. Inside was two beds on the opposite sides and a bathroom. He hoped that his room mate isn't loud and that he would survive his four years in College. Lance on the other hand was going to his dorm with his stuff in hand and was listening to Shakira with his red headphones on. Keith had finished moving in and layed down in his bed, putting his blue headphones on and listening to Panic! At The Disco while scrolling down on Instagram. Lance burst in the door and fell on the ground making Keith jump. Lance groans in pain. Keith removes his headphones to go help him up. "Need help?" Keith asks holding out a hand. Lance nods and takes the hand to get up. "Thanks uh." Lance stops and Keith gets what he's asking for. "Keith." Keith says and they smile. "Keith. Thanks Keith. The names Lance." Lance says charmingly and kisses Keith's hand making him blush. "Quite the charmer eh?" Keith laughs and so does Lance. Lance settles in too while talking to Keith. "So you're here for a engineering degree?" Lance asks as he sits on his bed looking towards Keith as he nods, "And you're here for an Astronaut degree?" Keith asks Lance and he nods too. "You never know what's beyond the stars." Lance sighes and keith hums. They continued to talk, fight, and lance flirts a little too till it starts to get darker outside. "Looks like we should sleep. It's 10 pm and we have classes tomorrow." Keith sighed. "Good night Lance." Keith yawns and crawls under his blankets. "Goodnight Keithy boy." Lance yawns as well and they both drift off to sleep.

~1 week later~

Lance and Keith had been closer in just 7 days but have also grown feelings. Lance is learning to control his want to kiss Keith while Keith is wanting to ignore it but can't. When Keith comes back after his lessons in the afternoon he finds lance in his dorms already. "What happened to your classes?" Keith asked as Lance watched a video on his phone. "Canceled. Mr. Coran had gotten sick." Lance replies. "How was your class?" Keith shrugged and layed down on his bed. "Tiring. As always." He sighs and looks at his clock. 12:40. Lance sighs. "Hey Keith?" Lance breaks the comfortable silence. Keith humms in response. "D-do you maybe want to get c-coffee or tea?" Lance stutters for reasons he doesn't know and hates it. Keith blushes but Lance was looking away. "S-sure." Keith doesn't know if it was a date or not but hoped it would end well. The boys grabbed their stuff and walked out their dorm on their way to Alteans Cafe.

The boys were speaking of how their day went and Lance even tried to flirt with Keith. His response would to get cought on his words and look away while Lance would laugh. They arrived and it wasn't as busy but there were still people there. They sat down and a waitress comes to their table. "May I get you orders?" Her voice was sarcastic and not happy but then she smiled when she saw Keith. "Keith?" Keith looks up and smiles too. "Hey pidgeon." He laughs. "Long time no see eh?" Pidge nods and looks to Lance then Keith again. "Did you finally get a boyfriends? Congratulations man!" She laughs and both Keith and Lance blush madly. "C-can you just get me a strawberry tea Pidge?" Keith stutters and Pidge writes down his order. "And for you?" Pidge looks to Lance. "I'll have a caramel Frappe." Lance says and Pidge walks away. They stay silent for a while on the table looking at everything then each other.

~On the counter~

Pidge and Allura were watching the boys while cringing. "Why are they so oblivious?" Pidge asks and Allura just shakes her head. Pidge gets their orders and makes her way to the table.

~Back to Klance~

Pidge put their drinks on the table. "There you go gays." She smirked. "D-did you mean guys?" Lance corrects and Pidge stares right into his soul. "Did I fucking stutter?" Lance gets scared and shakes his head. Keith rolls his eyes. "You can go now pidge." Keith sighs in annoyance and she huffs but leaves to watch them from afar with Allura. "Don't mind Pidge. She's just like that." Keith sips his tea. The topic changed from being scared of pidge into movies. "How the fuck do you like Romance movies? They are so cheesy!" Keith argues and Lance gasps dramatically. "You take that back! They are one of a kind!" Lance threatens and Keith smirks. "Cheesy." Keith whispers. They laughed and soon it was time for Keith to go back to his class.

They walked back and Keith has already left to his class leaving Lance alone in the dorm. He kept watching videos but he still has some regrets at the cafe for not kissing Keith there. Lance sighed and looked out from the mini window they had. Just as he was going to lose hope from being Keith's boyfriend he had an idea.

~After Keefs classes~

Keith was tired after a long afternoon. He had a ton of assignments to and wasn't looking forwards to it. He entered the dorm to find a rose and a note on his bed. He looked around for Lance but he wasn't there. Keith picked up the note and rose. He studied the rose for a while till he opened the note.

Hey there Keef! If you're looking for this sharpshooter come meet me on top of the building at 10 to stargaze with me. -3-

~Lance

Keith smiled at the note and looked at the time. 9:50. Keith's classes were were long. He grabbed his jacket and started taking the stairs to the rooftop.

When Keith arrived there was lance looking up at the sky. Keith smiled and carefully walked up to him. "Come here to fuck?" Keith whispers into Lances ear and Lance screams. "DUDE WHAT THE FUCK?" Lance shouts at Keith while he laughs on the ground. "Im sorry but it was a perfect opportunity. Sharpshooter." Keith laughs and Lance looks away. Once Keith stopped laughing they were laying down looking up at the stars. "They sure are beautiful." Keith sighed. "You know who else is beautiful?" Lance asks still looking up. "You." Keith smirks looking to him knowing what his next move was. "No fair! You stole my lightning!" Lance whines and Keith giggles. They laugh sitting up but once they stop laughing they look into each others eyes. Slowly they move closer and closer being able to feel each breath till they close the space between them. It was a soft and caring kiss and kinda sloppy too being their first time but they didn't care. They pulled apart and smiled. "So does this mean I get to be your boyfriend?" Lance asked and Keith laughs. "Yeah it does."
