**PRE-STORY**:

LANCES POV

I looked at Keith from across the table in a sort of daze. We had just gotten back from training and I just couldn't tear my eyes away. The same feeling that had been growing in my chest for weeks has come back. I had started falling for the mullet-head and didnt really know what to do about it. Im not even sure when it started, but I just realized one day that I needed him and cared about him alot. Which sounds really chessy, but its the truth. I saw him look at me and I dropped my gaze to my goo and ate with renewed fervor...

KEITHS POV

I tried to look at the dashing cuban boy sitting across from me, but he wouldn't meet my eyes. I had been falling for Lance for a while now and he didn't seem to notice my improved attitude. I noticed the blush on his cheeks and the way he held his head down and wondered if I had caused that....No. Probably not. I sighed to myself and began eating again.

**END PRE-STORY**:

LANCES POV

We were all sitting around in the 'living room' when Allura and Coran strode in. "Hello Paladins." We all said our hello's back and awaited her news. "It appears Coran and I have discovered an unknown planet. I need you paladins to go and explore it. It seems harmless, and like it could be quite fun!" We all nodded and I spoke up. "When are we leaving?" She smiled "Now. Coran will go with you on this mission and I will stay behind. Have fun paladins!" She gave another warm smile and left us to prepare.

It didn't take long to get on our uniforms and get out on our lions. Coran rode with me and was
blabbering on and on about some new goo cake/pie recipe he and Hunk were concocting. "Uugghh why did he have to ride with me?" I groaned into my helmet mic to the others so Coran couldn't hear. I love him, but sometimes he was too much.

"Don't be rude Lance." Shiro snapped back at me. "I'm not being rude I just-" "Shut up and stop whining Lance. We're almost there." Keith commented this time. I always felt a pang in my chest when he insulted me like this, so I just shut my mouth and didn't reply. "Wow Keith, you got Lance to shut his mouth for once." Pidge joked. "Shut up pidgeon." I snapped. "Enough. We're landing." Shiro cut in before Pidge and I could explode at eachother.

I was suprised and pleased to see that this planet looked very similar to Earth. The sky was a beautiful, normal shade of blue. White fluffy clouds rolled by lazily, taking their time going no where. The ground looked soft with the beautiful green carpet that blanketed the land. I forced down the lump that was threatening to choke me and blinked away unshed tears. This place was perfect.

"I bet this place sucks." Hunk groaned as our lions fully settled unto the ground. "What? Why?" I made an effort to quickly hop out of 'Big Blue' and feel the earth-like ground beneath my feet. I smiled, geniuenly smiled at the fresh air. "Yep. Definently sucks." I groaned. "Why? This place ROCKS!" I put my hands on my hips and took another deep breathe. Hunk gave a half-hearted shrug. "Places like this always do. Sure its beautiful and all then BAM! Giant bat comes and eats your face off." I just looked at Hunk and he held up his hands in mock defense. "Just saying."

"Alright listen up." Shiro commanded, gathering us around. "We'll start and go through the forest. Which is North," he pointed near the tree line "And stop after a few hours at night fall." We all nodded in understanding. Coran smiled a flashy smile and started walking. "Alrighty then! Lets start cracking paladins!!" Pidge pushed up his(her) glasses and followed, holding a mini laptop and supposedly doing some research and journaling. "Lets go, dont just stand there." Keith growled as he passed me. I glared and reluctantly followed.

KIETHS POV

God I really hated being an ass to him. But I have to. Its just our thing and it helps me get over my feelings for him...so I do it. I be a dick towards him. He glared at me and seemed like he wanted to say more but he, thankfully, just followed.

We had been walking for hours when Shiro stopped us. "Wait, listen." We all fell silent. Lances eyes lit up. "Water!" He sprinted off and I had a mini panic attack. This place is new, he doesnt know where he's going and he could get hurt. "Wait! Lance! You idiot, come back!" I ran after him and so did everyone else.

After a few minutes we broke out of the trees. I saw Lance standing near a cliff and yanked him back to me. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING IDIOT!? WE COULD HAVE LOST YOU!" I gripped his shirt collar tighter in frustrated reliefe. I didn't have time to take in his flushed face as he shoved me off and straightened his jacket. "Calm down Kieth, it doesn't matter." Before I could argue he interrupted again. "Besides look, there really is a waterfall!"

I turned my head in confusion and my breath caught. It was absolutely beautiful. I have never even seen a waterfall on earth, becuase I literally had lived in a shack in the middle of nowhere. But I never imagined a waterfall could be this...awe-strickining.

"Wow." Pidge smiled and walked closer to the edge. "This is amazing!" Lance quickly stood beside him (her) "Can we swim in it?" Pidge pulled out his(her) computer and a few other things. "Let me run some tests and ill see. Itll take a few hours, but im excited to research this planet a little."

Shiro laughed. "So I guess this is where we'll be camping for tonight?" Lance nodded. "Yep. Well im going to go look around. See you!" Before I could stop him Lance gad already broke through the tree-line. I frowned and turned back to Shiro. I blushed when I saw his knowing look. He was the only one who knew my affection for Lance. "Lets just get the tents set up." Shiro laughed and started setting things up.

LANCES POV

This place was amazing. I noticed as I looked around more, that there were some tiny differences. For example, a wierd flower I had seen. I pulled out the flower that I had picked earlier. It had a white, orange and slightly red base/stem. The petals stretched out into huge leafs, hot pink at the tip and then faded as it went back into the base.

The flower was beautiful and like no other one on Earth. 'Maybe I should show this to Pidge or Coran...' I thought while turning over the flower. However, looking at it more and more I felt as if I should keep it. I decided to keep it and tenderly tucked the flower away.

****MINI TIME SKIP****

LANCES POV

I finally walked back into camp as the sun set. "Im back!" I announced as I took a seat by the fire. "Yeah, and skipped all the work I see." Keith crossed his arms. I rolled my eyes. Shiro sighed and poked the fire. "Don't." We both just resolved to glaring.

Pidge and Hunk joined us by the fire. "Hey Lance I ran some tests on the water and it turns out that its completely harmless." I brightened up. "So we can swim!?" Pidge laughed. "Uh yeah." I sprang up and turned to run. "Lance, wait, you need to eat. We've been hiking all day." Shiro stopped me. I whined. "But...but...-" "Also you dont have a bathing suit." Hunk pointed out.

I sighed and plopped back down. "Fine..."

*****TIME SKIP*****

KEITHS POV

We were all cleaning up after our meal, and Lance just wouldnt stop talking. "DONE! Im going to the waterfall." He started to walk then stopped and turned back. "Hey Keith, up for a challange?"

I raised a brow. "Challenge?" Lance smirked. "Race to the waterfall. Winner gets to shove the other person off." I smirked. "You're on." We both sprinted off, neck to neck.

"K-Keepin up Keith?" Lance panted as he slapped huge leaves out of his face. I panted a laugh. "Yeah. Y-You?" Lance didnt reply as we neared our destination. I put all I had into my legs and sprinted to the top.

I didnt look beside or behind me as I skidded to a halt. I whipped around just in time to see Lance follow right after me. I put my hands on my hips and breathed deeply. "I...win..." Lance groaned. "What...ever...mullet..."

I waited patiently for him to catch his breathe. He groaned. "Do I really-?" "Yes." I cut in with a smirk. He rolled his eyes. "Fine. Just let me take off some clothes so that I wont get them soaked." I blushed and tried to look away, but just couldnt. I held my breathe as his silky smooth dark skin was revealed. He threw his shirt on a nearby rock and removed his socks and shoes. He shivered and turned to me. I felt faint at his hard stomache and dark nipples.

"Keith? C'mon lets get this over with" Lance snapped. I shook my head. "O-Oh. Right." He took posituon near the edge and waited patiently. I gulped. 'Just shove him. Damn it its not that hard to touch his back and push him! That silky, strong, bite-able back'. I placed my hands on his back. God it felt better than I imagined. "A-Are you ready?" Lance nodded. "Just hurry up." There was a quaver in his voice and he shivered. 'Just shove him, he's getting cold' (sadly) I pushed him off roughly. I almost whined at the loss of contact and watched as he fell into the water. "Oh well. Better go join him." I muttered and made the trek back down the hill...

LANCE'S POV

I bobbed back out of the water and took a huge breathe. It was fun when he pushed me off, but I almost got hard when he touched my back like that. I had always fantisized about him touching me, and if that was as close as I can get then ill take it.

His hands were rough, and felt good against my skin. I just hope he didnt notice how worked up he got me. "Lance?" I turned and saw a shirtless Keith. "Is the water too cold?" He asked while taking off his shoes and socks. "No." I squeaked out. He looked suspicious. "Really?" "Yes. Im positive." I answered in a hurry, despreate to get him in the water. He shrugged. "Okay." He stepped in and I felt my breathe stutter in arousal. He cupped some water and poured it over himself, closing his eyes and shivering at the sensation.

I turned away and coughed. "S-So is everyone else coming to swim?" "No. Hunk is asleep, Pidge is studying an Altean book Allura gave her(him) and Shiro and Coran just dont want to." I nodded and grew nervous as he swam towards me. "Oh. Okay." I suddenyl remembered the flower that was safely tucked in my pants and shrieked. "Oh shit!"

I scrambled to a near-by rock and felt for the flower. I sighed in reliefe when I felt it and took it out to see the damage. "What is that?" Keith swam over and sat next to me. I tried to ignore how painfully close he was and how his wet chest was about to give me heart-palpatations. "Its a flower I found. I thought it was interesting so I kept it." Keith gently took the flower and looked it over.

"Do you think we should show Pidge this? Or Coran?" I shook my head. "Nah, ill show them later." I took back the flower and smelled it for the first time. My head felt slightly foggy as I took in its scent. The smell was indescribably sweet, I wanted to smell it forever. "Hey, smell this." I offered Keith the flower and he warily smelt it. "Wow." He breathed out and took another sniff. I chuckled. "I know."

Keith handed me back the flower and laughed. "We sound like druggies." I widened my eyes in suprise and laughed. "Well look who's making a joke!" Keith rolled his eyes. "Lance it was barely a joke." I shrugged. "Still, its process." I took another smell of the addicting flower. If it smells this good, what does it taste like? "Im gonna eat the flower." I announced and plucked a petal.

"Wait. Dont you think we should let Pidge or Coran check it? It might kill you?" Keith argued. "Keith im sure its harmless. And besides, if it smells this good then just imagine the taste!" Keith's eyes sparkled with subtle curiosity. He sighed and plucked a petal aswell. I smiled. "Okay, on 3." Keith rolled his eyes. "Fine."

I counted.

"1."
"2."
"3."

We popped the petals into our mouths. My eyes widened at the flavour. Oh. My. GOD. It tasted heavenly. I quickly chewed it up and swallowed, devouring the delicouse flower. Keith looked at me in pleasent suprise. "That was...delicious?" I smiled and waded back through the water. "C'mon! We have to show everyone!"

KEITHS POV

We walked back into camp. Hunk was now awake and everyone was jist relaxing. Lance looked so excited. He's so hot. I paused and shook my head. 'Woah, relax Keith.' I dismissed the random thought and listened to Lance. "Guys! You have to see what we just found. It tastes AMAZING." I recalled the unbelievably sweet and juicy flavor the flower had and licked my lips.

Everyone seemed interested. "Okay. Show us." Shiro seemed intrigued and leaned forward. Lance pulled out the flower and held it up. "I dont know what type of flower this is, but-" "AGH!" Coran swiftly snatched the flower. "Tell me that you did not eat this!" He shoved the flower back into our faces. Lance swatted his hand away. "We did. Havent you been listening? Its delicious!"

Coran paled. "Oh quiznack. Thats not good." Okay, now I was worried. "Whats wrong? Is it poisoness?" Coran gravely shook his head. "Not in the way you think it is." Lanve visibly gulped. "What is it?" Coran held out the flower.

"This flower, is one of the most dangerous things on this planet. This, is a Lust Flower..."
