My name is Lance McClain and I'm 18 years old and a senior in Altea High School. I live with my uncle Coran Smythe and my cousins Romelle and Allura since my parents were slaughtered by wolves when I was seven and me and my siblings had to run home to live with Uncle Coran. So anyway, I also have Hunk and Pidge, my best friends in High school. Hunk is the chef and Pidge is the brains, Romelle and Allura are working in a cafe while I'm stuck with my buddies but that's okay because they get along so easy. My other best friend is Miss Honerva from my Science class and she always felt like the closest thing I have to a mother since my own died.

Anyway, today's the day I go to school so I have to get ready as I brush my teeth, take a shower, put on my clothes, go down the stairs to make my breakfast as I hear my sister Veronica yell "Lance, don't tell me you're eating breakfast in the car" I said "Don't worry Veronica. I wont" Marco laughs "You better not" I know I love my brothers and sisters, but sometimes they can be a pain. My brother Luis got married, had two kids and had to move next door. I drive my way to school because I have a liscense and I am 18 years old after all. Anyway, I park the car on my favorite spot and see my two favorite friends waving at me and I ask "Hey guys, ready for a good day?" Hunk replies "Yeah, senior year and I'm gonna open my dream restaurant" Pidge agrees "I'm gonna be moving to junior year by the time you two go to college" I laugh "Well don't worry Pidge, we'll meet again in two years" we walk our way down to class when, all of a sudden, I was pushed to the locker room and see Lotor, my bully, as he smirks "Well, if it isn't the teacher's pet. To what do I owe the pleasure?" Lotor's cronies Acxa, Zethrid, Ezor and Narti crowd us as I whimper "Lotor, leave me alone" Lotor laughs "I will, if you agree to join me" I push Lotor away from me and shout "Never" and I leave with Hunk and Pidge as we enter the classroom just in time.

Pidge said "You need to stand up to Lotor, Lance. He doesn't deserve you" Hunk agrees "Yeah, there is no way you would submit to a jerk like him" I forgot to mention that whenever I get close to Lotor, I start feeling weak because I'm shy and unpopular, but he's the leader of the popular kids. I said "I know, but he's too popular to be rejected in public" Pidge said "Well, what choice do you have? Rejecting Lotor in public would be hilarious" Hunk agrees "And it wouldn't be so humiliating othwerwise" the school bell rings as other students, Lotor and his cronies arrive to sit down and when Miss Honerva arrives and announces "Okay class, we have two new students joining us today and I expect you to treat them with respect and make them feel at home" I see two guys show up and notice that one of them is older and has a white floof of hair while the other guy has a mullet and a scar on his right cheek. I don't why but all of a sudden, I feel attracted to him. No, I shouldn't have thought about it. Anyway, Miss Honerva says "Students, this is Takashi Shirogane and his brother Keith Kogane" the first guy says "Please just call me "Shiro" mam" Miss Honerva smiles and says "Okay Shiro, you can sit next to Lotor and Keith, you can sit next to Lance" I blush unexpectedly as the boy named Keith sits next to me and I don't know why I started blushing. What's happening to me? Why is the guy sitting next to me so hot? Why am I thinking like that? What's going on?
