Kurt sat on his bed, thinking. About life, everything going on. Then he looked over to his nightstand to see a picture frame of him and Blaine.

They've been together for a year now. Kurt looked at the photo and a smile grew on his face.

'He's so handsome.' Kurt thought to himself. 'He has gorgeous hazel eyes and hair that is always slicked back with gel. What is a beautiful man like that doing with someone like me?'

Kurt has always felt insecure. He worried he wasn't skinny enough, but now, he is comfortable in his skin, which felt good. It was his face. He didn't like the way it looked. He thought of himself as ugly.

His phone suddenly vibrated, snapping him out of his trance.

From: Blaine

Hey sweetie, I wanted to wish you a good night. Want to go to the Lima Bean after school tomorrow? Xoxoxo

Kurt smiled and quickly typed back.

To Blaine:
Of course! Sweet dreams😘

From Blaine:
They'll be of you gorgeous❤️

Kurt shuddered at the word, gorgeous. Blaine always called him that but Kurt didn't believe it.

Kurt replied with some hearts and headed off to bed.

Kurt started to get the books he needed for the day, he was so lost in his own little world, he didn't see his boyfriend next him.

When Kurt realized he jumped a little and Blaine giggled.

"I'm sorry, um, how long have you been staring at me?" Kurt asked nervous.

"5 minutes. I could stare at you all day, you're just so beautiful."

Kurt smiled but he hates the fact and Blaine stared at him for five minutes, maybe Blaine realized he wasn't good enough?

"I got you these." Blaine pulled out a dozen roses from behind his back.

"That's so sweet, what are they for?"

"I've really wanted to tell you something for a while now."

"You're breaking up with me, aren't you? I should have saw it coming, I'm not like guys at Dalton, I'm not like Sebastian-"

"Kurt, no. Far far from it. I wanted to say that I love you."

"You love me?"

"Oh, man I'm an idiot, I'm so sorry, I maybe shouldn't I have said that so early, but I can't lie about my feelings, I just, your so amazing and--"

Kurt cut him off. "No, Blaine, I love you too. I just don't understand why you love me out of all the guys you could have.

"You are gorgeous. You are smart, kind, caring, adventurous, talented, brave and so much more. Wait, Kurt are you alright? Your shaking." Blaine lifted his hand and placed it on Kurt's forehead to indicate if he had a fever.

"I'm okay, I'm just cold." Kurt lied, he was shaking because he was nervous. He couldn't believe how many compliments he was getting.

"Here." Blaine took off his letterman jacket that he earned playing football and placed it over Kurt's shoulder.

"You're a hopeless romantic Blaine." Kurt laughed and properly put on the jacket.

"Let me walk you to class." Blaine said.

Kurt nodded and Blaine slipped his hand into Kurt's.

They silently walked until they reached Kurt's class which is French.

"Have a good day."

"You too." Kurt smiled. Blaine gave Kurt a quick peck on the lips and walked to his Spanish class.

Kurt and Blaine were sitting at the Lima Bean, and Kurt was lost in his own world, playing with the cap to his coffee.

"Hey, babe, what's bothering you?" Blaine asked, reaching over to take his boyfriends hand.

"N-Nothing." Kurt lied.

"It's not nothing, come on, tell me, you can talk to me about anything."

"Why me?"

"What?" Blaine asked shocked.

"I'm not beautiful. You keep calling me that but I'm not. I'm the opposite of beautiful. There are so many guys that are so much better looking but you chose me. I feel like your lying when you say it and when you told me you loved me I couldn't believe it, I still don't."

Kurt was crying and Blaine didn't know what to say. He had no clue his boyfriend was insecure.

"Kurt..." Blaine started. He had no idea what to say, what do you say to someone who's insecure and won't believe what you say?

"I-I have to go." Kurt sobbed, running out of the coffee shop.

Blaine thought all night about what he was going to say. He realized word weren't the way, song was.

Kurt had avoided Blaine during school. Blaine would come up and hold his hand but Kurt would pull away and run. Kurt really missed him, he even wore Blaine's letterman jacket for the day so he somewhat felt like Blaine was with him.

Now it was glee and there wasn't any way to avoid his boyfriend.

Kurt sat in the back and looked up to see Blaine talking to Mr. Shue. 'I don't deserve him.' Kurt thought.

"Okay everyone, to start the meeting, Blaine has prepared a song." Mr. Shue announces.

Blaine smiled and took the floor.

He would not show that he was afraid,
But being and feeling alone was too much to face,
Though everyone said that he was so strong,
What they didn't know is that he could barely carry on,

Kurt walked to Blaine, bypassing confused faces.

He wrapped his arms around Blaine's neck and hugged him tight.

Kurt dug his head into Blaine's shoulder and muttered...

"I believe you."

I really want you all to know that I think Kurt and Chris are so handsome! I just had to get inside the characters head and think about what he would think if he was insecure.

I had this idea for a while because Blaine was insecure but what if Kurt was?
