Disney

Kurt was acting strangely odd this morning. Blaine had brought him to Disney World for spring break and planned on making his fiancé as happy as he could possibly be. They were waiting in line for the monorail and Kurt was completely silent and was looking everywhere but at Blaine. Once the doors opened, Kurt, Blaine and one other couple walked on board. It wasn't very busy due to them going in the park early for extra magic hours.

"Hey, Kurt, What's the matter?" Blaine asked as he sat next to Kurt.

"Nothing, I'm fine."

"Lies." Blaine quickly replied.

"Blaine, I told you, I'm fine!" Kurt said, not making eye contact with his soon to be husband.

"Kurt, we have been together since you were 17 and I was 16. I know you. I know when something's up."

Blaine noticed the couple across from them, listening in on the conversation but just ignored them.

Kurt looked at Blaine with watery eyes.
"Finn." Is all he said then glanced back out the window.

"What about Finn. You have been doing so well after his loss."

"When we were in high school, Finn said something to me."

"And what did he say?" Blaine asked.

"You were at work, Rachel was getting ready, that night we were going on a double date. He looked at me and said, 'when we graduate, we are going to go to Disney world during spring break at NYADA. You, me, Blaine and Rachel. It will be like the best double date ever.' He was so happy. When you said we were going to Disney, during spring break, I tried not to think about him. I said to myself, Kurt, this is for you and Blaine, he died 2 years ago, forget about it. Blaine I really tried, but it didn't work. I'm looking out this amazing window right now, looking at Magic Kingdom in the distance, with my beautiful fiancé but without my brother."

"Kurt, im so sorry. I understand how hard his death has been on you. Just remember this, he's looking down on us, every step of the way. He's probably yelling at you and saying 'Kurt! Stop crying over me!'"

This caused a laugh to escape Kurt's mouth.
The other couple across the way was still staring and listening.

"Do you have a problem?" Blaine asked the couple.

They looked like a dear caught in headlights.
"N-N-No." the girl finally stuttered out.

"Then why do you keep looking over here and judging us." Blaine said.

"Blaine, let it go, it's fine." Kurt said, trying to calm him down.

"Is it because we are two guys that are dating?"
They looked ashamed and didn't say a word.

"Yeah, I thought so, at least after this ride, I won't have to see either of you again." Blaine said and put his arm around Kurt.

"We are truly sorry." The man said and glared at his girlfriend.

"If you guys knew half the stuff we went through, you would feel way worse. I was shoved into lockers every day in high school. I would get punched, I would get kicked, they would call me awful names. A little while ago, I got gay bashed and ended up in the hospital. Don't judge a book by its cover. My brother taught me that." Kurt stated then looked back out the window, without another word.

Blaine looked at his true love. He was the luckiest guy in the world. He kissed Kurt's cheek and Kurt smiled. They were on their way to the happiest place on earth, nothing will ruin their day.
