Kurt and Blaine were in the kitchen baking cupcakes. The glee club was having a bake sale to raise money for the bus to sectionals. Kurt had said that he and Blaine would make cakes. When he told Blaine that he had put their names forward, Blaine agreed as long as he could lick the bowls and spoons.

"Blaine, can you get the cupcake cases out of the cupboard?"
"Kurt you know I can't reach."
"I moved them down for you."
"Oh, I see them now. Thanks, baby." Blaine grabbed the cupcake cases from the cupboard and accidentally, knocked the flour all over himself.

Kurt burst out laughing and almost fell over. "Kurt it's not funny!" Blaine protested. "If it's not funny, then why am I laughing?" Blaine had had enough. He scooped up some flour and threw it at Kurt. Kurt gasped. "Blaine Devon Anderson! How dare you ruin this outfit?!"

"You started this by laughing at me." Blaine said. Then suddenly, Blaine was hit by an egg. The egg landed on his head and the yolk started to run down his face. "Oh, It's on now Hummel."

Blaine ran after Kurt trying to throw an egg at him. After several tries, Blaine gave up and just ran towards Kurt. Both boys were screaming as they tried to cover the other in food. Kurt was running backwards trying to toss a pillow at Blaine when he slipped on an egg.

The world seemed to move in slow motion as Kurt was falling to the floor. Blaine dived to try and catch Kurt and got there just in time to stop Kurt from hitting his head on the hardwood floor. "Kurt are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Blaine breathed a sigh of relief before standing up. "You scared the hell out of me, Hummel." Blaine said before hitting Kurt with a pillow.

Blaine leaned down to pick Kurt up and brought him over to the couch. Kurt tried to get away but Blaine kept him pinned down. "Blaine, come on," Kurt said. "we have to finish the cupcakes."
"Stay." Blaine got up and walked into the kitchen.

Kurt stayed sat on the couch waiting for Blaine to come back. When he finally came back Kurt was getting up to go see what Blaine was doing. "Close your eyes." Kurt closed his eyes and Blaine took the cupcake tray from behind his back. Kurt opened his eyes and looked at the cupcakes. They were all decorated with different coloured frosting. The one in the middle had a ring.

"If that's an engagement ring, my answer is yes."
"It's a promise ring. It means that I promise to love you even when you're being annoying. It m3ans that I promise to care for you when you're ill. It means that I'll promise to be yours and that you'll be mine."
"Yes."

Blaine slipped the ring onto Kurt's finger and kissed him. Kurt smiled into the kiss and Blaine did too. "Come on let's finish the cupcakes." Kurt said and broke the kiss. Kurt grabbed Blaine's hand and ran into the kitchen. The two then finished the cupcakes and put them in the fridge ready for tomorrow.
