Twenty-Nine
Jessi
"Last chance to change your mind" Harry sighed, his fingers gripping my waist while his arms were wrapped firmly around me. I hugged him tighter, getting on that plane with him was so tempting. "Please?" He groaned into my ear.
"You've no idea how much I want to." I tried to breathe in as much of him as possible.
"H, we need to go." Niall mumbled.
"No." Harry whined. "Can't we stay until Jessi's flight leaves?"
"Sorry guys, Paul says we have to leave now to make our interview." Niall was still mumbling, I think he was scared he'd piss off Harry.
"Baby, I can't do it." Harry's arms held me tighter.
"Yes, you can." I said looking up at him. His eyes were dull and sad looking. "Smile for me, Styles?" He did, but it was his fake smile, it didn't reach his eyes. "What kind of pants do clouds wear?"
"I don't know." His voice was completely flat.
"Thunder pants!" I smiled, and he gave me a tiny chuckle. "How many tickles does it take to make an octopus laugh?" I tried again.
"I know this one. Ten tickles." He grinned, a proper one this time. I smiled against his lips as he kissed me. My stomach fluttered as he slid his tongue into my mouth.
"Come on, guys." Niall whined as I got lost in Harry's kiss, kissing him was one of my favourite things. It never failed to make me feel cherished and secure. I sighed as Niall pulled him away.
"I love you. Call me as soon as you can." Harry blurted out, breaking away from Niall's grip and giving me a quick kiss on the lips and one final snug hug.
"I love you too and I promise." I smiled and watched him walk through the departure door with Niall. As soon as he was gone I felt my eyes fill with tears, I walked to my gate trying to hold them back. Crying in public was not a habit I wanted to start.
I felt thankful for the distraction when I heard my phone ring and pulled it out to see that it was Justin.
"Hi, I'm at the airport now, my flight is running on time so I should be in LA in plenty of time." I updated him on my situation.
"Don't get on that flight. We need you in London, ASAP. George got stuck. We're trying to find you a new flight." Justin rambled as I attempted to process what he was saying.
"For fuck's sake Justin. This is the fifth time they've changed things." I groaned.
"I'm sorry. And George is really sorry." Justin replied.
"Hang on, did you say London?" It finally clicked in my head.
"Yeah. I'm trying to get you on the next flight out." He sounded flustered, the sound of computer keys clunking in the background.
"I might have a solution. I'll call you back." I immediately hung up, not waiting for his reply. My fingers were shaking as I called Harry.
"Hey Baby, I didn't think you'd be calling this soon." He chuckled.
"Don't leave!" I exclaimed, out of breath from hurrying back to where Harry and Niall had boarded their jet.
"I have to. Sorry." He sighed.
"Wait! I need a lift - I need - London." I stopped to try to catch my breath. Nerves jangling in my stomach at the thought I might be too late already.
"What? Jess, are you okay?" I could hear the worry in his voice.
"I need to get to London. Can I come with you?" I asked nervously.
"Are you serious?" I could hear the smile in his voice.
"Uhm. Yeah. George is in London now." I breathed.
"Are you back at the door me and Niall went through?" He asked.
"Yeah," I replied, but I had no way to get in. There was a desk, and I had no pass.
"OK. Hand the woman on the desk your phone." He instructed, and I did as I was told. I watched as she nodded, said "yes" a few times and then "I understand". She smiled as she handed my phone back and opened the door for me.
"I'm in the door, now where do I go?" I asked, my heart was racing.
"Straight down the ramp, quickly. You'll be the death of me, little lady." Paul's voice boomed, and I wondered what had happened to Harry.
"You're the best, Paul." I smiled.
"I know. See you soon." He chuckled, hanging up. I quickly let Justin know I had it sorted before putting my phone away and running down the ramp. I smiled as I saw Harry running towards me, he looked so happy it made my heart melt.
-----
"Guys, come on you need to get in your seats. We're about to land." Paul knocked on the door. I slowly peeled my eyes open, Harry was watching me sleepily. His eyes half closed. We'd snuck in here when everyone else had fallen asleep.
"Sorry Paul, we'll just be a second." I felt my cheeks blush even although nobody but Harry could see me.
"Why can't I fly with you all the time? It's so much more fun." Harry smirked, his voice like gravel. I shivered as he ran his hands over my naked body.
"Come on, we best get ready before Paul has a fit." I slowly climbed out of the bed.
"Jess, I need your help with something first." He growled, grabbing my wrist. I turned to look at his still sleepy face, he nodded down towards his crotch and my eyes widened as I saw the tent he was making in the sheets.
"And what do you want me to do about that? We don't have time. Paul's annoyed enough as it is." I sighed and bent over to pick up my clothes.
"I need to bury it inside you!" Harry groaned. His dirty mouth and deep voice forcing a moan from my lips. His arm hooked around my hips and he pulled me down onto the bed. His leg quickly swinging over my body and he had me pinned in place, his lips kissing down my torso impatiently.
"You're definitely right about flying together being more fun." I giggled as he passed my belly button.
About fifteen minutes later Paul was knocking on the door again. Harry was looking at me with a guilty look on his face as I found my underwear. He'd torn both my bra and pants in half.
"Sorry? I'll buy you new ones." He grinned, finally getting up and getting dressed.
"Shit. I'm gonna have no clothes!" I suddenly realised my main bag was still on a plane to LA.
"You have your camera and stuff though?" Harry said.
"Yeah but I can't go to work like this." I sighed. I was in sweatpants and a hoodie, comfy clothes for travelling.
"Personally, I think you look amazing," He grinned. "But Gem has some stuff at mine, I'm sure we can find you something." He said as he opened the door.
"Finally decided to join us?" Paul said as I followed Harry back to our seats.
"Sorry." I mumbled, my cheeks turning bright red. Harry had that smirk he gets when he's embarrassed. I was jealous of his ability not to turn bright red.
"I'm gonna buy you a gag for your birthday." Paul added and I couldn't help but laugh. Harry's eyes widened and soon everyone was laughing while Niall explained to Paul why everyone found his statement so funny.
"Perverts, I didn't mean that kind of gag." He groaned.

The paparazzi ignored me as I pushed through them, even the crowd of fans didn't pay me any attention. I smiled as I walked around the back of the waiting cars and slipped in through the door on the other side. My plan had worked, but I knew I'd be in trouble. Matt had explicitly told me not to run off without him, that it was dangerous, but I knew if I walked out with him it would draw too much attention. Although incurring Matt's wrath was nothing compared to how Harry would react if he found out, if it was left up to him I'd have walked out surrounded by security. I had to beg him to let me leave with just Matt.
"Why do you do that to me?" Matt snapped as he got into the car. The crowd had suddenly come alive at the presence of Matt, like I suspected it would. It looked like it had become one fluid being, a loud hum of chatter seeming to give it a heartbeat. It had become a monster, vying for blood and it scared me.
"I'm sorry. But you can't deny that I was right. I walked in here with no fuss. Look what you did!" I said pointing to the crowd of paparazzi. They were pushing and shoving now. My heart raced as I thought about how the guys would navigate through that.
"And if you were wrong?" He questioned.
"But I wasn't." I replied, my eyes still glued to the sea of people. I shuddered as Matt grabbed my arm.
"Jessi, look at that. Maybe you were right today and maybe you will be the next time but one day you will be wrong and look what will happen!" He growled at me as I watched the chaos unfold. All I could hear was yelling and camera shutters. I lost sight of all four of them as soon as they stepped foot into the madness. My eyes frantically scanned the crowd for them, for Harry. I couldn't see him anywhere. I held my breath and my eyes watered, fear bled through every inch of my body. I was starting to feel light-headed. My eyes found Mark, and he gave me a thumbs up. My breath released in one loud gasp as I realised he had Harry and he was okay, my breathing was ragged as my body tried to replace the missing oxygen.
"Not feeling so clever now, are you?" Matt whispered in my ear. He leaned back in his seat as Harry stumbled into the car, followed by Mark.
"That was intense today." Harry sighed, sitting down beside me, he wrapped his arm around me, his fingers drumming on my hip like they always did. The smell of his aftershave calming me more than any aromatherapy candle ever could.
"Are you okay?" We both asked at the same time. Harry motioned for me to go first.
"I'm fine. That is scary to watch though." I breathed.
"Did you guys get through okay?" Harry asked. I turned to look at Matt, my eyes begging him not to say anything.
"It was fine. Nobody paid me any attention." I blurted out, hoping Matt would leave it but he wasn't going to pass up this opportunity to rat me out.
"Tha -"
"I wouldn't know since she ran off and left me." Matt interrupted Harry.
"Jessi!" Harry exclaimed, the look of disappointment on his face made me feel small.
"I'm sorry. But I was fine. Nobody gave me a second look and then when Matt arrived, they started swarming." I looked at the floor as I tried to explain.
"That was so risky, baby. What if somebody had recognised you? I don't want you to get hurt." Harry breathed, I could still sense disappointment in his voice.
"Sorry." I repeated.
"It's all right but please don't do that again, okay?" He pulled me closer to him.
"I promise, H." I smiled, snuggling close to him.
"I'll hold you to that next time you try to disobey me." Matt said smugly.
"Whatever Matt, you're not her lord and master." Harry said, and I smiled as I nuzzled into his chest. Matt kept quiet after that. Thank you Harry.

I stood in front of the wardrobe in one of the spare rooms in Harry's amazing house, wrapped in a towel. I found a pair of skinny jeans and a black t-shirt. I heard the door so grabbed the clothes and headed downstairs, assuming it was the car work had sent to pick me up. But the door was closed by the time I got there.
"Harry?" No answer.
"Harry? Was that my car?" I yelled a little louder.
"Nah." He smiled, walking into the hallway. "Did you find something to wear?"
"Hmm... yeah. But Harry, I still need underwear. I can't wear Gem's. That would be too weird." I said.
"Way ahead of you." He grinned, dangling a Stella McCartney bag in front of him.
"When did you? How much was it?" I bounced on my toes, I loved Stella McCartney underwear. Most of my fancy underwear was hers. I was excited to see what he'd bought.
"I ordered it in the airport, got somebody to deliver it and never you mind. Don't you want to open it? I know it's your favourite?" He teased, still dangling the bag on one of his fingers.
"Yes, please?" I bounced on my heels as I took the bag from him, trying not to drop the clothes I had in my arms.
"Do you need a hand?" Harry chuckled as I tripped on my way back up the stairs.
"No, thanks!" I yelled, rushing to get ready. I opened the bag and found two sets of underwear, the first was a pink version of a set I already had in blue but the second set was the prettiest underwear I had ever seen. It was a blue lace bralette with spaghetti straps that tied at the shoulders and a pair of matching pants, I rushed to put them on and then looked in the mirror. I'd never felt this pretty in underwear before, I loved it. I heard the doorbell again.
"Jessi! Baby! Your car's here!" Harry loud voice carried up the stairs. I got dressed as fast as I could, I hated running late but considering how many times they had rescheduled this appointment I didn't feel too bad. I grabbed the blazer Harry had given me in Australia as it was the only other jacket I had and ran downstairs. Harry wrapped me in a hug when I reached the bottom.
"You look lovely." He smiled, his hand creeping under my t-shirt until he reached the bralette. "I knew you'd like this" His fingers brushing over the thin lace.
"Thanks. It makes me feel pretty." My cheeks blushed. "Will you be here when I get back?" I asked, walking to grab my bag with my camera and equipment.
"Not sure, waiting on a call from Helen about our interview. What time will you be back?" He smiled, pulling me into a hug again.
"Dunno. I can't believe I'm going to Abbey Road, it has to be the coolest studio in the world." I smiled.
"Yeah. I'm a little jealous to be honest. You got your keys in case I'm not in?" He kissed my neck.
"Mmm... hmm..." I mumbled, enjoying his kisses.
"Ok. I suppose I better let you go. Have fun baby. I love you." He grinned, smacking my ass.
"I love you too. See you later!" I hurried out and into the car. I was excited about my day but the idea of coming home to Harry also excited me. It was kinda pathetic but the thought of coming back here and having dinner together and going to bed somewhere that was his kinda thrilled me. It felt like we were a proper couple.

Harry
I watched the car leave, and I smiled to myself. Watching her go off to work made me feel all husbandy and like a proper grown up.
My phone was ringing on the table so I walked over to answer it. It was Helen.
"Hey Harry, interview's been cancelled. Enjoy your free day. Bye" And she was gone, just like that. I decided to head to the shops and buy some things to make Jessi dinner. I wanted her to feel at home here. I grabbed my keys and wallet and headed for my car.
I carried my shopping bags to the car and opened the boot to put them away. My phone started ringing, and I worried it was Helen phoning to say our interview was back on. I couldn't stop smiling when I saw it was Jessi.
"HARRY!" She yelled down the phone when I answered.
"JESSI!" I yelled back, forgetting I was in a car park. Thankfully, there didn't seem to be anyone around. She yelled a string of expletives back at me excitedly. "What's happened?" I chuckled. She was cute when she was excited.
"Oh my God! Harry! You're never going to guess who I met? Brian Johnson from AC/DC!" She yelled a little quieter than before.
"Seriously? That's so cool." I smiled.
"He's awesome. So funny and nice. I got a picture and his autograph and he spoke to me for our whole tea break." She gushed.
"Awesome. I'm quite jealous. I've never met him." I sat on the edge of the boot, smiling like an idiot at how happy she sounded.
"You should if you get a chance, H. Oh and George is really nice. He apologised like a million times for all the rescheduling. Holy Shit! I think Tom Hardy just walked in. I better go. I love you, Styles." She said at about 100 miles an hour.
"I love you too, baby. See you tonight!" I smiled, feeling a twinge of jealousy she was rushing off to see Tom Hardy.
"Can't wait!" She said before hanging up. I put my phone away and closed the boot. I was excited to get home and start cooking dinner.
-----
I'd just got off the phone to my Mum for about the fifth time today. I'd never made a roast dinner before and it was much harder than my Mum or Robin made it look. Everything was finally in the oven but I looked around my kitchen and it looked like a nightmare, stuff everywhere. I had a plaster from where I cut my finger, my hands covered in flour and bits of potato.
I jumped when I heard the door. Jessi was early. I wasn't ready. I cleaned my hands and rushed to answer it.
"Hi!" Louise laughed as she took in the sight of me.
"Hey, I thought you were Jess." I sighed in relief.
"What have you been doing? Is that potato in your hair?" She was still laughing.
"Probably," I groaned, running my hand through my hair. "I'm making a roast dinner for Jessi, her and Louis were saying how much they missed it the other day and it's fucking hard. I'm hot and stressed."
"I can see that. I feel bad now but can I add to your stress?" She grinned.
"What is it?" I found another chunk of potato in my hair.
"I need a babysitter. Me and Tom both need to work. I didn't know Jess was here. I thought she was going to LA?" Lou replied.
"You need me to babysit Lux? Jessi ended up having to come here for work. George had to stay in London or something." To be honest, I hadn't really listened to why she ended up here I was just so happy that she had.
"Yeah. You'd be a lifesaver. You should talk to Cal, you know he thinks she's great and he could always use extra help, then she could be with you all the time?" Lou smiled.
"Obviously I'll watch Lux. And I don't know, I'd feel like a dick if I was all like, fuck school, nevermind that amazing job you love, pack it all in and come work for me?" Lou rolled her eyes at me before she went to get Lux.
"HARRY!" Lux yelled as she ran towards me.
"Hey Angel!" I smiled scooping her up. Tonight would be fun, I loved having Lux to stay, it gave me an excuse to behave like a big kid.

Jessi
I heard it smash, the distinctive sound of a camera lense cracking. I'd sat it down for a second while I removed the other lense from my camera. I turned around to see a guy in a hi-vis jacket glaring at me.
"Sorry love, be more careful with your shit!" He muttered. That was the last straw, I was about to completely lose the plot, I marched outside the studio, ready to go home and admit defeat. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, it was probably Justin, again. He'd called about five times already, making sure everything was going okay? Well, it wasn't. Apart from meeting Brian, the day had been a disaster. First off everyone was late, I was stuck here by myself for an hour and then I was told to leave while they set everything up, apparently they were also filming this as a music video, and when I was allowed back in there was a camcorder set up in every good position where I'd have stood to take photos. They were constantly changing the lighting, moving around, nobody seemed to want me here, I felt like I was constantly in the way. I'd been here for nine hours. It was 7pm, and I had two photos that were okay, two out of hundreds. I'd lost count of how many times someone had smacked me on the head with equipment and now they were breaking my shit!
"What the fuck is it now, Justin?" I yelled, packing away my camera equipment, including my shattered lens.
"Woah! Baby, what's wrong?" I felt my body relax at the sound of Harry's voice.
"I'm sorry. I thought you were Justin. Everything has gone wrong Harry. I think these are the worst pictures I've ever taken, I have two I'm happy with and the rest are terrible. I don't know what I'm doing here. Why did I think I could do this job? I'm nowhere near good enough to do this H. I should just quit before they fire me." I blurted out.
"Hey, hey! Stop that! Jess, you are amazing. Just come home and I guarantee you we'll find more than enough pictures to send to Justin, trust me, okay?" He said, I loved how calming his voice sounded and I trusted him with my life.
"Okay." I replied, closing up my bag. I didn't think he was right about finding enough pictures to submit but I wanted to be with him, for him to hold me and tell me everything would be okay.
"Okay. I'll see you soon then. I love you so much, don't worry, everything will be fine." He replied.
"I love you more. See you soon." I hung up quickly so I could get the driver to come pick me up and take me home.
I put the key in the lock and opened the door. The first thing that hit me was the smell of dinner, it smelled amazing and the second was the sound of my favourite little person running towards me.
"Jessi!" She yelled.
"Luxy baby!" I yelled, running towards her and giving her a massive cuddle. "What are you doing here?"
"Me stay wiv you and Harry." She giggled as I tickled her.
"Hi, dinner won't be long." Harry smiled, walking into the hallway.
"Harry, help me!" Lux giggled. I let her go and ran for the stairs. "Get her Harry!" Lux clapped her hands as Harry chased after me. I made it to the top of the stairs before he grabbed my ankle and pulled me back towards him, I smiled as he wrapped his arms around my waist. "Tickle! Tickle!" Lux screamed as Harry began his tickle attack. Her giggle got louder as I squirmed.
"Okay, okay! I give up. Luxy wins!" I laughed. She cheered and then ran off to the living room.
"You okay?" Harry said, kissing the back of my neck.
"Better, now I'm here." I smiled, taking his hand and walking down the stairs. "Do you need a hand with dinner? It smells amazing by the way."
"I have everything under control." A cocky grin spread across his face. "I'll finish dinner, Lux wants to watch Frozen and then when she's asleep we can pick out the pictures for your work, yeah?"
"You're the best." I smiled, nudging his shoulder.
"No, you're the best." He replied.
"No, you are." I shook my head.
"OK, I'm the best." He chuckled. I didn't even argue, he was, and I was so lucky to have him. I followed him to the kitchen and wrapped my arms around him, clinging to him as if my life depended on it and I never wanted to let him go. I was feeling vulnerable and my confidence had taken a bashing and holding him made me feel better.
