Alright, I'm just going to jump right into this one. Remember that chapter in this book where I was basically freaking out over a glitched blood moon that happened in BOTW? And how I mentioned that I'd always wanted one to happen to me, but it never had until then?

Yeah. It happened again last night, in the weirdest way possible.

Naydra was playing ACNH while I explored around the Great Plateau. I decided to go to the Coliseum ruins (I think I spelled it wrong, sorry...) and made my way there.

I slowly approached the center, waiting for the Lynel to spawn. Those bois still terrify me, even though I know how to deal with them. Except...the big boi didn't spawn.

I wandered around the center for a bit, wondering if he'd just appear out of the blue right next to me and give me a heart attack. Thankfully for my heart, he didn't.

So where was he?

I started climbing the different levels, searching for other enemies. I found out that the Bokoblins, Moblins, etc. were all spawned in just fine. The Lynel was the only one who was missing. 

I was now thoroughly confused. I kept looking around, wondering what was going on. But just when I was going to start grabbing some elemental weapons...the sky turned red.

I almost choked, it came so suddenly. The ashes started flying, and within four seconds the cutscene played. I basically started fangirling and nerding over it, likely driving Naydra crazy. Basically, the game freaked out because it either couldn't spawn the Lynel or it was struggling to, and triggered a panic blood moon. Super exciting stuff! :D

Oh, and the best part? Our dad came down to watch us just before this all happened, and was convinced we were summoning Satan during our playthrough or something. Hands-down, most awkward and hilarious moment in dad-supervised video game time. XD
