GUYS!!!

Okay, this is so exciting! For those of you who play Breath of the Wild/know the basic premise, read on! Or read on anyway cause I'm excited, either way :)))))))

For those of you who don't know, there's a special event that happens every so often on 'unlucky nights', called the blood moon. The moon rises red, ashes and glowing embers start flying around at 11:35 pm exactly, and all the monsters you've defeated come back to life. It's kinda creepy, but it gets my adrenaline flowing. Which is weird, given that I'm a coward in most scenarios...but anyway, the technical lowdown!

A blood moon is basically the game resetting itself so it doesn't crash, and it should always be at night. However, some people have documented them happening during the day and without warning, something I've always been amazed by. Search 'botw glitched blood moon' on YouTube and you'll see what I mean. It's pretty cool, and I'd always wanted it to happen to me.

So! I was wandering around, heading for the Rucco Maag shrine (which apparently seems to be the cause of this happening to other people, according to Kleric on YouTube), in broad daylight...and the sky suddenly went red. The ashes started flying, and the blood moon cutscene played. The glitched blood moon gods had come, it seemed. I freaked out, which was slightly annoying to Naydra, and promptly wished I'd recorded it or something. It finally happened to me!! I wandered around a bit longer, but nothing else of interest happened (besides me stabbing myself several times on the wooden spikes surrounding the shrine... :/ ).

Isn't that so cool?! :D

Please let me know if anything like that ever happens to you, and any details you can determine, such as your location, time of day, and so on! FOR SCIENCE! :D
