Yet again our car broke. My paws were about to fall off until we stopped to see the vandalized Mt Rushmore. Jerks. I took the chance to climb onto 10k's backpack while he stopped by a tree. We finally saw the supposed town and broke into a large white building. I hopped off 10k and sniffed around. A Z spotted me and I darted quickly to the others. Doc killed it but more just came out. Two people in yellow suits came in yelling not to touch them.

There wasn't much going on really. Besides well.... Radioactive Zs and only 48 hours to fix the problem before we all die. Fun! I was sort of just sitting by 10k's feet and waiting. The one dude died and then we were sent to get this other dude. We started going over to his house, climbing through barbed wire. I lost a chunk of fur off my back. 10k and Warren sent me ahead to sniff out anything that could blow up or kill me. Making it safely to the house I scouted around. I felt a hand on my scruff and a gun to my face as the man holding me kicked Doc, coming around the corner. "Don't move or I kill your cat."

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I heard 10k's voice and then I was dropped to my paws.

"Thanks mr psychopath." I snarled. I followed them into the house and leapt onto the table.

(Another time skip cuz I can't do much here. Imma just pretend he has some sort of animal. Dog? Why not.)

10k told me to stay at the house so I had to. I heard something outside so, being the curious cat I am, I went to investigate. I saw a dog door for some reason, maybe he has one. I poked my head out of the small door and I was face to face with a white husky. I leapt back, knocking my head on the top of the dog/cat door. "Who are you? Did Homer get me a friend? What's your name? What kind of cat are you? How'd you find this place?" I tried to answer them all at once.

"You don't need to know. No. Jay. American longhair. And my team and I are helping with the radioactive blast problem."

"Oh! Well thanks." He struggled to fit into the door. "My name is Storm. My sister Serenity is outside still. She will be back soon."

"How long has she been out?" I asked sitting on the table again.

"A month or so maybe." He replied eating something from a bowl.

"Storm, I think she might be... Erm... A Zombie Dog..." I rested my tail on his shoulder.

The white dog looked at me in disbelief. "If she's dead...." His mood changed from regular sad to sad puppy eyes sad. "Will your team take me with you?"

"What about Homer?"

"Let's go find them and see what he says!" The white fluff ball bounded out of the house and raced to the plant. I raced past him and leapt at 10k as we neared. Everyone was staring at the girl z for some reason. 10k completely ignored the Z and crouched down to pet my head. I purred a bit and we all loaded into the car, me, 10k, and Storm on the back. "Do you think they mind?" Storm barked.

"Not at all." I purred touching noses with my new friend. 10k was petting him and smiling at us both.
