Wednesday Morning
8:40 AM

I fluttered my eyes open, quite confused as where I was.

I looked up to see who's arms I was in, Gene?!

Taking a second to realize the situation I was in, we were lying down my head was on his chest and his arms were over me in a protective manner. This was actually quite comfortab-

Snapping myself out of this I shot up yelled "GAH!"realizing what was actually happening. I turned my head over to Gene's direction to see him lifting his head up in a alarmed state.

"What happened?" I rubbed my head in confusion.

I saw Gene think for a bit but when it seemed like he remembered he starting blushing a deep red.

"Oh-um, after the whole situation with Aaron, we walked over to this lake and, em, i'm pretty sure we fell asleep.."

Hm, seems like he is leaving something out.

I checked my phone only to see about 100 notifications from my mom, WAIT, MY MOM!

"Crap! I gotta go Gene i'll see you later!"

I stumbled to get up and heard him chuckle. Not wanting to waste anytime I didn't say anything and ran off.

The hell I'm going to pay...

Gene's POV
Wednesday Morning
9:00 am

I rubbed my eyes going over everything that happened in my mind.

And then a memory passed by.

~Flash Back~
"Gene?"

"Yes?" I said while rubbing my eyes

"Do you care about me?" she said questioningly

"I-uh- Yes, I do."

"Good, cause I care about you." She said with a soft smile

I looked at her and she looked at me. I leaned in and so did she.

This is too fast

I quickly kissed her cheek not wanting to touch lips.

She smiled and rested her head on my lap again.

As I started to fall back asleep part of me wishes that I didn't kiss her. And another part of me wishes I kissed her somewhere else.

~Flash Back End.~

Widening my eyes realizing what happened I touched my lips trying to process what I had done.

I-I kissed her!

What is father going to say- wait.

FATHER!

I got up quickly and started running back to my house dreading what was about to take place.
