Tuesday Night 7:40 PM
Aphmau's POV

Why is he here?! He's supposed to be at military school..

He marched towards me and said to me in a low voice

"We need to talk."

I looked at Gene seeing his expression he heard what Aaron said,

He gave me a look, in unspoken words he said

"You don't have to go."

Aaron saw me hesitant, and looked at Gene trying to put two and two together.

Aaron started to grab my hand, he was immediately cut off by Gene.

Aaron started to get mad and said

"Excuse me, I would like to speak to my girlfriend"

Gene still didn't move, but I could see he was hurt.

I spoke up and said

"Gene, it's okay."

I walked with Aaron to the side, looking back at Gene.

Aaron stared to whisper-yell at me.

"What the hell is this?! Going out with another guy?!"

"I-I'm sorry, he's my mom's friend." I lied through my teeth.

He looked at me suspiciously,

"We'll talk about this later."

As I walked away but he grabbed my wrist and started to kiss me.

Tuesday 8:00 PM
Gene's POV

I looked away for a second not to seem clingy, and when I turned around I saw him, kissing, her. 

I scowled at them, and when I thought it was about to end, Aaron opened his eyes and looked straight at me, and his hand went down her back.

And he grabbed her butt.

Fuck it.

I ran over there and grabbed him by the collar and pinned him up against the wall.

He grunted, and I heard Aphmau shriek.

"GENE! STOP, PLEASE!"

I tried to ignore her, but she still remained.

I looked Aaron one last time in the eye glaring at him. And I dropped him down to the ground.

I wiped the blood off my head and looked at Aphmau, her face looked terrified as I stared at her.

I reach out to her but she took a step back, fear turning into anger.

"I'm leaving Gene." she said coldly.

It broke my heart.

"W-Wait Aphmau, i'm sorry, please."

"Bye." and she walked away.

I started to run after her, not wanting to loose her. I kept screaming Aphmau until I was loosing my voice.

She proceeded to ignore me, but I wasn't going to give up. I don't know where she was going but we ended up in the park.

Finally, she stopped in front of the lake. I could see tears well up in her eyes.

"He wasn't always this mean.." she said in a broken voice.

Silently the tears from her eyes started to fall from her cheeks.

I looked at her not knowing what to say so instead I grabbed her into a hug.

I could feel her shock by after a few seconds she wrapped her arms around me. She nuzzled herself into the crook of my neck and started sobbing into it.

Slowly I picked her up and started carrying her to a place where I felt safe.  I slowly dropped myself down onto the grass and just stared at the lake while she sobbed into my neck.

I didn't know what to do I just sat there stroking her back. Just watching the lillypads float around.
