Monday Afternoon 4:00
Detention

Ugh, Mr. Dale really hates me.

I put a piece of mint gum in my mouth and started chewing loudly to annoy him.

I heard the door open and looked over at Aphmau.

"Why hello Miss Phoenix, please sit down."

She timidly nodded and sat down in the desk next to me.

"Hello Kitty~" I hummed

She attempted to ignore me but every now and then I could see her looking at me from the corner of her eye.

My eyes started to wander and I looked at her arms.

They were covered in, scars?

Wonder where she got those... Maybe there is more to her than what meets the eye.

I was about to ask about them, but then the bell rung and I heard Mr. Dale say

"Alright you are free to go, Behave."

She quickly got up and start speed walking out of the school.

Hm.

Monday Evening 5:40 PM
Aphmau's POV

Oh god, Oh god, Oh god. I'm screwed.

My mom is going to actual kill me.

I hesitated opening the door and running for it.

Instead I was greeted my a very angery Spanish women.

"H-Hey mom.." I said in utter fear

She took a deep breath

"APHMAU WHERE IN THE IRENE WERE YOU?! I WAS SO WORRIED I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD! AND ON YOUR FIRST DAY REALLY?!"

"I-I"

Crap gotta think of a excuse

"I was at um, with Gene!"

"A BOY?!"

"Mom it was um-a-uh he has a club about how ladies are independent, yes that."

"Hm, that seems a little suspicious."

"No I swear it's true! Our em, our theme song is the single ladies by Beyoncé, I know how you love her" I stuttered so hard.

"Awh, if my girl Beyoncé was with you guys i'm sure it's fine. I'm proud of you honey."

"Really?!" I said in disbelieve

"No, your grounded for a week. I thought you were dead. Now go to your room."

"Damn."

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY YOUNG LADY"

"DANG, I SAID DANG THATS ALL I SAID." I quickly ran up to my room.

Oh god how am I ever supposed to have friends over with her.

Monday Night 8:00 PM
Gene's POV

"Father, I'm home."I walked through the doors of our huge mansion.

This was not earned by hard work, a lot of blood was involved to get his fortune.

I heard his footsteps start quickening as he approached me.

"Where were you." His stern voice sent shivers down my spine.

"I was at detention." I responded emotionless

Before I could continue I felt a hand hitting my face and leaving a bright red mark.

"If you are going to join me in business you cannot be late anymore." His voice had a clearly noticeable anger in it

"Understood?"

I nodded my head.

I went up to my room, my father never spoiled me so I didn't have much.

All I had was a double bed and very, old desk. My closet consisted of about 4 or 5 shirts, 1 of them was given to me from father, the others i managed to get with the money I made from part time jobs. I had one pair of black pants and one pair of white sneakers, or used to be white sneakers.

The only thing I actually cared about was my phone, Dante, my step-brother gave it to me.

Though our parents are divorced me and Dante still remained in contact.  We weren't "he's my best friend" close but we remained in contact. 

For my birthday he surprised me with this phone.  I haven't put it down since.

I sat on my bed and started scrolling through instagram. I saw in my suggested there was a account called "Aphmeow Phoniex" that must be her..

I requested to follow her and I messaged her saying "Hey Kitty~"

She had her read receipts on so I saw that she read it. she wrote back

Aphmau: What do you want?

Gene: Idk, Im bored.

Aphmau: Then go find someone else to talk to.

Gene: Awh Kitty, don't be like that

Aphmau: :I

Gene: ;3

Gene: Pleaseeeeeeeee

Aphmau: :I Fine, since I nothing better to do.

We talked for a few hours until she said she wanted to go to bed.

I smiled looking at her profile picture.

She had her hair tied into a ponytail with cat ears on her head, she wore a purple tank top with a pair of black gloves on.

Eventually I went to bed, I looked at her profile picture one last time and fell asleep
