2: Champagne
One Saturday evening after a performance, you and Kite went out for drinks, of the alcoholic nature this time, down the street from the concert hall. It was a very posh place downtown but both you and Kite were wearing your respective concert attire so you fit right in with the upper crust crowd.
You had to admit, Kite look great in a formal tuxedo and long silver hair tied in a loose bun, but even you knew you were absolutely gorgeous in your long black satin dress and high heels. You positively glittered with elegance, and flashed a stunning smile when Kite held your chair for you as you sat down.
As you talked and sipped champagne together, your eyes sparkled, totally captivating his attention. Whether it was the alcohol, the mood or all the above, your shy smile and soft purring voice turned his manhood to steel inside his trousers.
You talked for hours, not realizing how much time had passed or how much champagne had been consumed. Kite had a decent toleration to alcohol, a larger male, but you were beyond a little tipsy.
Being the gentleman he was, Kite offered to walk you back to your place so you didn't have to call a taxi. York New was a nice city... but it wasn't that nice. He couldn't stomach the thought of some brute putting their hands on you. You, on the other hand, accepted gratefully—glad to have such a dashing companion. So, you headed to your apartment together, leaning on Kite for some well-needed support.
During the walk to your apartment, the conversation got a little more flirtatious—borderline naughty. Kite loved making you giggle. That stunning, yet shy smile of yours was so endearing. You even stroked his arm playfully a few times as if you were petting your cat. It drove him wild.
When you arrived, Kite gallantly took your hand to help you up the steps in that lovely dress and heels. Intending to only walk you to your door, he stood back as you put your key in the lock. But then you glanced back at him.
"Thank you for taking me home. That was very sweet of you." You cocked your head to one side and smiled slyly. "Come in for some water?"
"Alright, if it's no imposition. But I do have animals to return to eventually..." Kite said following you through the entrance.
You tossed your keys into a bowl by the door and set your flute case down on a side table. Kite caught a glimpse of Yun the cat as he scurried off to the bedroom upon seeing someone he didn't recognize enter the apartment.
"Please, get comfortable," You said as you walked into the kitchen area to retrieve the promised water.
As Kite sat down on your sofa, he glanced around at the décor. You had simple but lovely furniture, a very soft couch with lots of pillows, a music stand in the corner, and several shelves full of books.
What caught his attention, however, was the cat motif you had all over the apartment. There were cute cat figurines on the shelves, pictures of adorable kittens on the wall, cartoon cats printed on your pillows, and even kittens on your drink coasters.
"Wow, you are really into cats." Kite said as you walked over to him, setting down a tray with two glasses of water... that had the word "meow" printed on the side in a script font.
You gave him a slightly embarrassed look.
"Sorry, it is a little overboard, isn't it?"
"It's okay," Kite smiled taking a sip of water. "It's cute."
You smiled, sipping your drink.
"Well...it's a little more than just me being into the cat motif," you said cautiously, the champagne having lowered your inhibitions enough to feel like you could confide in him.
