1: The Flutist

Sophisticated, cultured, classy, and talented—that was you. Long ago before any hint of becoming a hunter crossed your mind, you were a gifted flutist. Yet, you were always reserved, quiet, and introverted. When you weren't playing your flute, you usually had your nose in a book while drinking a mug of hot tea and petting your cat, Yun.

Now in your mid-20s, You had a small apartment in the big city of York New, and a career as the principal flutist in the symphony orchestra.

That's where you and Kite met.

He hadn't meant to stumble into the bustling orchestra, but as he heard the beautiful noises coming from within, he was absorbed into the performance. And then he saw you, front and center. And from the first time he saw you, Kite knew he wanted you.

The way your aura wrapped around your body and then the audience, looked like silk swimming through the air. It comforted him, in the way that caring for animals did. It felt... right.

Not to diminish your skill either—you were an amazing a flutist outright. And so, after the performance, he waited until you too, were leaving the concert hall. Your bright eyes swiveled to him as he made a noise with his throat. Your feline-like reflexes caused you to jump in surprise. But as soon as he began to speak, you felt yourself calmed. There was something about his voice that made you feel safe. And so, you agreed to come with him to a late-night diner. From there, it was a friendship.

Over the first few weeks of the season, you and Kite would go for something small to snack on after a rehearsal and just chat. You were shy to new people, yet Kite was easy to talk to. Like most introverted people, you felt more comfortable interacting one-on-one rather than in a large group setting. You had marvelous conversations about art, music, culture, books, travel, and of course, Yun, your calico cat that you had at your apartment. To him, you were very intellectual, and a great conversationalist.
