Adrien walked into his father's old house to hear laughter. That was an odd sound to hear from this place, it had always been so quiet and stoic. "Hello! I'm back from my meeting. Where are you two?" 

"Adrien!" Ally came running and came and hugged him. "Did you guys make a plan?" She whispered in his ear. 

"No, we have some ideas but we need to talk to Master Fu first." He smiled at her as he whispered back. "So what did you two do today?" 

"Come see! Come see!" She grabbed his hand and ran off towards the theatre room. 

"Ally what is it...... Wow," He walked into the theatre room and found his favourite treats from Tom and Sabine's bakery. He saw several appetizers that he loved. "Father? What is this?" 

"Son, Ally and I were talking today, and she helped me see that I missed out on your childhood, but I want to spend time with you as an adult. I know I can't make up for my failures as a father but I want to help you now." Gabrial stood with his hand out.

"Father, that's all I ever wanted." Adrien ignored the offered hand shack and hugged his father.  Ally quickly joined in. 

"See! I told you hugs were the best!" Ally smiled at the two men. 

"Maybe you were right, little one. Shall we eat?" Gabrial gestured to the food. 

After enjoying way too much food. The three of them sat down to watch a movie. Ally fell asleep with her head in Adrien's lap. "I swear Father she sleeps better here than anywhere else." He laughed. 

"You were like that too. You had the finest mattresses and pillows anyone could afford and you still wanted to sleep with your head in someone's lap." His father smiled sadly, "That's actually how I picked Nathalie to be my assistance. After your mother died, she came to help me with the funeral, she'd been a friend of your mother's, did I ever tell you that? They met when she'd been assigned to one of the other models that were working for me. Anyway, she'd come over to help me deal with the details, and you had a meltdown, maybe even a panic attack, I was so numb those days. Anyway, you ran to your room and when I finally joined you, I found Nathalie sitting with you, asleep on her lap, while she was still handling funeral details. I knew I had to hire her." 

"Father I didn't realize." Adrien was shocked. 

"I know." Gabriel put his hand on top of Adrien's. "Look, Adrien, it's time I tell you the truth. Your mother died because she was sick, sick from a damaged miraculous."

"Miraculous? Mother was like Ladybug?" Adrien couldn't believe it.

"Your mother and I both used miraculously. We used them to help people without them even noticing. But during a failed mugging job, it was broken but she wanted to keep helping and I couldn't stop her. So when we sent you away, I had your mother get treatment. She didn't get better." Gabriel looked away. 

"You and mother...." Adrien was numb, could that mean...

"I shut myself off from the world. That included you, I spent years shut out from the world. It's why Nathalie took care of your schooling, and then one day I finally opened the miraculous box and talked to Noroo about how to bring your mother back. He told me of two other Miraculous' that could grant a wish if brought together. And I stopped listening after that, and I lost myself to this crazy dream. But, I've felt so useless these past few weeks, so I talked with Noroo again and he explained that the wish comes at a cost, and that cost is unknown. And if I were to gain your mother but lose you... I would hate myself." Gabriel got up and picked something up, it was a brown bag. "Here, It's both miraculous'. Take them to Chat Noir and LadyBug. Tell them what you want. I'll suffer the consequences." 

"Father, you were Hawkmoth? To bring back mom? You hurt my friends, you put me in danger...." Adrien was numb. His ears were ringing. If he were standing he'd have passed out. "Do you mind if Ally and I sleep in my old room tonight I don't trust myself to drive home?" 

"I could also have our driver take you home, he lives here after all. If you'd rather." Gabriel offered. 

"Um, actually yes, but what of my car?" 

"I'll follow him and mine, and then he can drive us back." he looked at his son, "Yes I remember how to drive. I just prefer not to." 

Ally as if she knew, "Adrien?" She looked at him and as if she was grown up Marinette again, "Adrien can we go home? I wanna call my parents." 

"Of course little miss. My dad's driver is gonna drive my car for us okay, that way you don't have to use your sleepy legs to walk." She nodded into his chest. 

After a silent drive home, Adrien put Mari to bed and opened both boxes his father gave him, both Kwamis stared at him. "Where they good before she died?" 

The two Kwamis looked at each other. Norro spoke first, "You're father was one of the best holders I had, with your mother at his side." 

"You're mother reminds me of you. A ray of sunshine for all to see." Duusu added. 

"Good, I will return you to Master Fu in the morning." He left the boxes open so the four Kwamis could talk. He then flopped into bed with Mari, "Tomorrow little one we will fix this and I will tell you everything."

Master Fu awoke to find a message from Adrien telling him to get to his house quickly. Master Fu wasted no time. Adrien never messaged him like this. He walked into the apartment and found not two Kwamis but four. "Adrien how?"

Adrien was sitting on the couch watching Mari play with the four Kwamis, "My father." The boy was pale, looked sick to his stomach. Master Fu sat next to him. "My father was Hawkmoth. He hurt people to bring my mom back. And then decided that if losing me meant gain mom it wasn't worth it. So he gave them to me, to give to Ladybug and Chat Noir. I don't want him to go to jail. I can't lose him too."

"Let's see if this brings Ladybug back. Mari, become Ladybug please." Master Fu pined the brooch. Adrien hid from her.

"Tiki! Spots on! Master? What's going on?" LB looked around. 

"We found out how to make you big again. But I will have to use the butterfly Miraculous."   

"What what!? How?" Ladybug was so lost. What had happened when she was a child!

"I will explain when you are big again. But for now, I need to use Chat's civilian self. So I'm going to blindfold you so you can't see. And then we gonna go to the roof so you won't see where we are." 

Adrien picked up Ladybug and Master Fu and Adrien talked about a surprise on the roof for their little LB fan. Once they got to there Master Fu called on Norro, "Norro Light Wings Rise!" 

"Chat Noir, Will you help me restore balance to the world?" 

"I will." Adrien smiled Master Fu. The purple butterfly flew towards him. It flew into his charm from Mari. "Help Balance Maker, My name is Moth, join me and save your friend." 

"Yes, Moth." The purple engulfed him. 

He heard a voice, "Shoot her removed the magic that holds hers." Like a robot, he moved and shot. "Thank you Balance Maker, that is all the help I need." 

The dark colour left him, "Ladybug leave your blindfold on. It worked Chat, transformed and we will explain everything to Ladybug."

"Plag Claws Out!" 

Ladybug took off her blind and found Chat running to her giving her a hug. "LadyBug your back. I.. I need you." He was crying. What happen? She couldn't remember. 

"Master?" She looked at him. He shook his head and point to her kitty, and mouthed help him. "Kitty?" 

"My Lady, everything fell apart, I'll tell you everything just..." He broke down again. 

"Shhhh... It's ok mon Chaton. I don't remember anything. But I'll sit here with you as long as you need."

They sat there for hours. Then finally headed to Master Fu's and Chat slept with his head in LB's lap. "Master, what the hell did I miss?" Master Fu told her the whole story, he didn't reveal who Chat was. She listed and her heart broke for her kitty, his father had been Hawkmoth. But hey if he knew she was, and Hawkmoth had been defeated... "Tiki spots off." Mari saw her hair was different now? That wasn't important. Chat woke up. 

"Hey, Kitty."

"Princess..." 

"It's an okay kitty, you can let it drop." 

"Plag Claws in." He whispered. Adrien sat looking at her. 

"Oh, I hoped it was you." Mair smiled at him and leaned down and kissed him.
