||What my Mom says about my writing.||

So. It's currently 2:41 AM when I'm writing this and I was jotting down some story ideas into this little notebook that I have and, as I writing one of the ideas, I thought about what my mom once said to me when I told her that it was a dream of mine to become a successful author.
She said, and I quote,
"I could write a better story in twenty minutes than you can in a month."
I'll admit it, it hit me pretty hard. I think I even cried that night and thought about quitting writing forever. But, the next day, I realized that it didn't really matter what she said. My friends thought that I was good (I didn't have Wattpad during this time) so that was really all that mattered.

Ever since that day, I've become more determined to publish a book one day. I want to show her that people enjoy my writing. I mean, she doesn't know about Wattpad because I don't think that she would honestly care all that much that I have 112 followers. I tell madisonmonak when I get a certain amount of followers or a certain amount of reads on my stories and she's always like, "Did you tell your mom?" And my response is the same every single time, "No. Because she wouldn't care."

Sorry to depress you there. On a much brighter note, "Breathless" is at 552 reads!

Peace out!
