Kurai was gone. It was all Yuki's fault. But accroding to Kurai, it was Plague's and Hikari's.

"Does anyone know where Kurai went?" Yuki let the words slither out. It was all she could say.

"Everyone!" Yuki was surprised to hear and see Kazan come. "You won't believe it! I know where Disease-- What happened here?" Kazan was dumbfounded.

"He happened!" Hikari snarled, biting Plague's ear. "He is the bane of my exsistence!"

To Kurai, too, Yuki thought deep down.

Instead of pulling away, a smug smile grew on Plague's face. "You lil' liar. You looove me."

"Shut up," Hikari groaned. She stopped her sad attempt to attack Plague and walked over to Trout. "Wake up, Fish-face."

Trout was awake in seconds, looking around wildly.

"Oh, you," Trout said, walking up to Plague, unable to walk normally. "You're... Under arrest." Yuki heard the clinking of chains. Plague got hand-cuffed.

"Uh, no," Plague said, smiling smugly. Yuki jumped back as she saw Plague's paws burn through the hand cuffs, leaving them a lava mush.

"Gah! You..." Trout fell over before he could barely start his sentence. Hikari ran off into one of the halls, not looking back.

"She loves me," Plague said, sounding like he was trying to convince himself she did. "Where did Kurai come from?"

"A pelican delivered him from the sky!" Kazan answered, nudging Plague to the exit of the place they were in. "It's true."

Yuki rolled her eyes. It was true, but Kazan made it sound like a fantasy. When two kitsune loved eachother, their touch creats heat. Heat rises, and hits the outermost reaches of space. It gathers the spirits of dead stars, creating its form and personality. Now a living form, it is attracted to Kitsuné, and reaches through it's atmosphere.

Then, a pelican gently drops it from 3,000 feet to the ground where it meets its parents. What a gentle process!

She followed the others out of the place they were in, and headed for Korosu Island.

"Anyway," Kazan said, walking in front of everyone. "I know where Disease's hideout is!"

Everyone stopped. "You do?" Yuki breathed.

"Yep--" Kazan said, but cut himself off as a rustle in the bushes caught a lot of attention.

"Don't follow me!" Yuki was surprised to hear Kurai. He noticed his head pop out, then recoil.

We weren't going to follow him anyway. Yuki thought. Then, she turned to Kazan. "Where have you been?"
