"You killed that monster.. DIDN'T YOU!!??" Connor yells in pure rage, her skull eye glowing a bright green and giving me a dangerous look. 'I didn't kill him!' I wanted to say, but I was too terrified to even say anything. Connor manor was always intimidating to me bit now that she was enraged, she terrified me now. "I-I... didn't kill him.." I say, still gripping onto my right arm. "They why would a human bare a monsters soul, hmm?" She gives me a smile, not the good kind, like an insane or enraged smile. "Worst part," Connor starts," I respected you, but I don't even know what to believe now..". Both of Connor's arms blaze a bright green, as if she's trying to fire up the magic she already knows won't work and might just do her more harm. "I don't care if this kills me.." Connor says with her head down. "I can tell that you're LYING!!" Connor yells and her head shots up to look dead into my eyes. The cracks in her skull turn bright green like her magic and throb, Connor drops to her knees and hold her skull in one hand. "No.." She stands up on her feet, "I won't give in.." And with that she sprints towards me, using her arms as claws to try and slash at me. I use my arms to shield myself, 'I know this won't do anything.. this is the end..' I say in my head and grit my teeth and shut my eyes tightly, bracing for impact. But the impact never comes and I slowly open my eyes. Two long bones were summoned on my arms, blocking Connor's attack. I open my arms quickly and send her flying backward, far away from me. 'Papyrus..' I say in my head, 'I'M SORRY FOR WHAT I DID, LET'S DO THIS.' Papyrus' voice responds back. 'TOGETHER!' We say at once in my mind and I run toward Connor as she staggers to her feet. I stop and she shakes her head, then running at me and striking again. This time I block with one arm, and use my other to summon, some sort of arrow magic and launch her toward a tree, the arrow heads pinning her to the tree. Connor's magic dies down as she struggles like a dangerous animal to be released. "RELEASE ME!!" Connor snarls and keeps struggling. "Connor I don't want to fight you, or kill and neither does Papyrus." Connor immediately stops struggling and looks into my eyes, "Did you say.. Papyrus?" I nod and and the orange part of my soul glows once again and a halogram Papyrus shots out. "KIT IS RIGHT, CONNOR. SHE DIDN'T KILL ME.. SHE SAVED ME FROM TURNING TO DUST. DON'T WORRY THOUGH!" Papyrus says with a laugh, "YOU AREN'T THE FIRST TO TRY AND KILL HER FOE THE SAME REASON!" I giggle slightly and Papyrus laughs. Connor stays completely still and then (somehow) hugs Papyrus' halogram, gripping onto him tightly and sobbing. Papyrus, blinks and hugs Connor back before smiling and disappearing back into the orange soul. Connor opens her eyes and I release her from her bounds on the tree. We both drop to our knees and look at one another. "Sorry about.. y'know.." Connor starts. "It's ok.." I smile tiredly and rub the back of my neck. Who knew battling could make you so tired? I stand up and hold a hand out for Connor, which she takes and I help her up. Connor smiles and runs a hand through her hair, "I'm REALLY tired from that fight. And you did well! I can trust you and Papyrus will get by." Connor says and smiles and drops to her knees again, unable to keep standing. I go to help her up but Techablook shots to her side. "I'll take her home." He smiles and picks her bridal style and flies toward Waterfall. I sigh and plop down on the ground heaving and I look down at the snow. In a matter of moments, Frisk and all everyone else (Except Connor and Techablook) tackle me in a group hige, Aeri, Sans and Frisk being closest to me. I laugh and hug back, smiling in content.
